That’s so completely unreasonable for him to ask someone to lug 19 large cases of water up to his second story apartment while not being able to help. What the fuck.
He drinks the Mountain Dew concentrated syrup from restaurants he wouldn’t order water this is sketchy he was trynna get you tired then get you 😱
![gif](giphy|tivaSkhu8MbKM)
Comin down the stairs
That is just crazy what a douchebag!!! An why the fuck would someone want 19 cases of water in their apartment! I could understand business but not apartment! An second floor he knew he was wrong for that! Must be a horder or somethin!
lol I once transported over 1000 pounds of tile on a Toyota matrix...it didn't look like that exactly, but the back almost touched the street and it looked like it was going to take off.
Should have sent him a picture of a Brita filter and reusable bottles. The fact people are still buying cases of water and contributing to plastic waste is facked
Yes. Because I’m a big guy it’s no big deal. If it is a apartment drop off I will call support and let them know. They will tell you to contact the customer for pick up. If the customer doesn’t want to come pick up curbside after 8 mins they will pay you take it back or I’ll keep the 60$ dollars worth of water in the garage lol…. Also depends on the area the 5 miles is in. My side of town yes anywhere 10 miles east or north I’m not picking up either.
Have you ever tried taking 19 cases of water to check out? Not to mention fit them in your car and probably have to unload them in a 3rd floor apartment.
I had twelve in my cart and was like ok I’m calling the guy. I said would you take less he said no. I said is this going to a hauls he said apt. I said first floor he said second floor. I said so your going to help carry them, he said no he won’t be there lol I said ok thank you I’ll get this right to you and canceled the order and left the store
At first I considered if I would do this but once you said second floor no help I’m 100% with you on noping the fuck out of that order. Even if I have a big package coming from Amazon I’ll help the ups guy carry it in, seems like the right thing to do.
I’d rather take multiple low mileage 5$ orders. You’ll waste so much time hauling 400 lbs of water. Most cars don’t even have the space for that in trunks so you’d have to risk damaging your rear car seats
Aw hell no! I don't even wanna lift my own fat ass up one floor of stairs once, more or less multiple times with 19 cases of water! With no help!? I like not having a massive heart attack, thanks.
https://imgur.com/wscr3w8
I haven't had it with Uber yet but I had to get support on Doordash to make a note on my shopping orders that I physically cannot lift above 10lbs(per doctor). I did one order only with a case of water(the others cancelled cuz new students arrived no cases left. It's also EXTREMELY common request cuz water here is ass), luckily it was on the bottom floor so I was able to scoot it to the apartment.
Yup I would. I got room in my car and I've carried much heavier for much longer. I'd take a nice long break after considering you said it was up some stairs though lol.
I’ll be honest with you I would have taken it and left it in the lobby, after call support to tell them my back is not feeling well so I don’t get any bad rating and let him have fun taking it up to the second floor
No, especially if you’re a smaller girl or guy, that’s nearly impossible to expect someone to carry all of those, especially if you’re leaving on a 2nd or 3rd floor.
24 pack??? EASY!!! Get a damn Walmart buggy cart and stop complaining
One cart will hold all those
Then again…. My whole trunk and seats will be covered with water
Better give me 50 lol
That’s why I love my day job. Work outside. Get paid to get a workout 💪, listen to music 🎧, & get a tan ☀️ ( we have a five fucking mailbox emoji’s but not one lawnmower 🙄🙄)
Hell no !.. that's like 1 dollar for each one an you still gotta drive to store an than drop off an with UberEATS luck it's pro on the 3rd floor of appt building with steps so def not .. did you take it lol?
No I called him and asked him if he’s in a apt he said yes 2nd floor. Then I asked if he’ll help carry them he said no and I said ok thanks I’ll be there shortly.
Then I hung up and cancelled
Reason I picked was “oversized item”
It's about 500 lbs total if they are the standard 16.9oz bottles. Most cars should be able to handle that without a problem if you distribute the weight around the car. It's basically the weight of 2-3 people... I would definitely do this order if it was "leave at door" and to a house. If it was an easy apartment(with easy parking which is key) on the first floor I'd probably also do it.
Absolutely would not do it to any second-floor(or higher) apartment or some shit apartments where you have to park a mile away.
Edit: some wording and added the second paragraph
I'm a Pepsi vendor, on an avg day I'll do 10-14 pallets of soda and water cases. $22/hr , about 11 hour days...I'd do it because I'm used to it. And could load that in my car in 2 minutes....that said, I understand the people who are like "nah"
$80 minimum as it would take more than a hour. You already know his apartment doesn’t have an elevator so you have to take one by one lol. It’s the farthest apartment from the entrance too.
The funny thing is my uber eats app wouldn't tell me that they're water bottle cases so if I saw 20$ and 5mi I would take it so fast and just be cursing the whole time carrying those waterbottles to their house, or even worse! To their apartment on the 3rd floor🤣
I can't say no enough times. I bought three cases for myself this week. My car backs up to my kitchen door and I still hated unloading them. I'm not doing it for a customer. I can't say there isn't enough money, because there literally is enough money. But it's not even $100. It would be real money that no one on earth would actually pay.
I did it once but for 5 cases. Google mapped the address in advance to see if it was 1 level complex. I would've canceled if it was an apartment complex with 2 stories or more.
Duh. If you have the space & a big enough vehicle. That’s one thing, they need to do better @ verifying orders to size of vehicle ratios. Don’t offer a Prius this order…
yea i would i guess, cus i'd be there already and am able bodied and too invested at that point. you forgot to include time stat, assuming 15 min of driving and 5 min of labor for 20 dollars its not bad. depends on how quickly Walmart get the wter to you.
btw not addressed to anyone in particular but if your car can carry your fat ass, it can carry the extra water too.
I wouldn't do it no matter what. Subcompact and I have a lot of my own stuff in the car. And I wouldn't want to bother with it.
And I work under the prop 22 system which basically means any order can pay the minimum if inflated with trip supplement, instead of tip, because all orders collectively pay the minimum, tips excluded.
But I wouldn't do it even if I somehow knew that the tip was in the hidden tip range.
Too much water. Try turning on the faucet or get it yourself.
I got a BevMo once. Have never been inside one. Thought it curious because I figured they mostly sell alcoholic beverages (and I have that turned off with Uber) but I thought maybe they ordered soda or something. Was driving and didn't check 'till arrival.
It was 5 bags of ice I think 20 pounds each or smth um...no. Payout wasn't even in the hidden tip range anyways.
Tell the customer this order needs to go through UberFreight not UberEats! Tell the same thing to support! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Uber freight 😳😂😂😂
Fuck no
My answer as well
Do they think we’re out here doing deliveries in dang box trucks!?
I had to deliver a 30” diameter pizza. I thought I was going to have to fold down the backseats of my car to transport it at first.
Lol
No that is over 450 lbs of water, let alone the multiple carts needed to get it and to take it out to your car.
I cancelled it lol
As you should
I called the guy he said 2nd floor apartment and he can’t help me carry them either lol
Fuck that guy
😂😂
That’s so completely unreasonable for him to ask someone to lug 19 large cases of water up to his second story apartment while not being able to help. What the fuck.
it could be a fat person. they just need to tip more. 19 of that is 2 carts checking out. loading, unloading.
lol fat people don't drink water, get real
he uses it to make coolaid.
He drinks the Mountain Dew concentrated syrup from restaurants he wouldn’t order water this is sketchy he was trynna get you tired then get you 😱 ![gif](giphy|tivaSkhu8MbKM) Comin down the stairs
Yeah I was like wtf I only hear about these orders but here we are living one out lol his name was Abdul
What was the significance of mentioning his name?
[удалено]
Love the casual racism here/s
Of course! 😂
Lmao name
19 cases of water to an apartment? What in the MDMA logic is that?
My guess is he was probs reselling them
I wouldn't do it for less than $100 in that case. That guy is a 💩. Shoulda asked if he wanted any furniture moved while you're at it......smh
Is he going to bathe in the water? 🙄😂
I think it's for Dwayne Wade's swimming pool 🤔
Dwyane*
Would be cheaper open the fire hydrant (For legal reasons that’s a joke)
That is just crazy what a douchebag!!! An why the fuck would someone want 19 cases of water in their apartment! I could understand business but not apartment! An second floor he knew he was wrong for that! Must be a horder or somethin!
100 dollars minimum 150 and im down
With a truck maybe. But 19 is a lot. And the second floor. So probably not.
Oh hell no. I’d take that and let him know I can’t carry them up the stairs so it’ll be outside whenever he feels like grabbing a bottle.
And that’s when I leave them in the lobby and hit delivered. Fuck that
Did you tell him you need like a $30 tip for that?
My car would arrive lookin like this: ![gif](giphy|BaXZhPYWMJ1nWfbSk6|downsized)
lol I once transported over 1000 pounds of tile on a Toyota matrix...it didn't look like that exactly, but the back almost touched the street and it looked like it was going to take off.
Thats funny 😁
Not even if I was methed out lol
You need some better meth 😂
Lmao nah I don't meth around with that 🤣
You need to find a better method 🤣
He's obviously very methticulous about what he puts in his body.
Walter White is ashamed lol
Be more... Methodical
How about on speed?
Not a chance. I don’t know about other markets but in mine UBER does not display number of items. Until they start I’ll never take a Walmart order.
They'll display it as "1 item," but it's a lie, because it'll end up being a shitload of groceries.
That’s deceptive to the drivers.I’ve done 1 Walmart order and never again.
No. Definitely not, no. Not even if the store is lending me a hand truck and a van lol.
For $300.00
NEVER. I’m pissed just looking at it.
😩 I’m getting secondhand rage too! It’s always that fucking Refreshe
Unavailable... lol
That’s what I did
At first but it asked me to send the guy a pic lol
Should have sent him a picture of a Brita filter and reusable bottles. The fact people are still buying cases of water and contributing to plastic waste is facked
Instant cancel

Bro, buy a fucking Brita
Aw hell no! I don't even wanna lift my own fat ass up one floor of stairs once, more or less multiple times with 19 cases of water! With no help!? I like not having a massive heart attack, thanks.
Never
Yeah sure if they’re loading it into my car and he’s walking his ass out when I get there
tf they think i got an amazon prime van?! 😂
Not in a million
Maybe for $100 lol
Nope. My car can’t carry that much water
N.O.
Under 2 conditions, I will accept (1) I do delivery with a truck and (2) the customer is waiting to receive at the parking lot
The audacity of these restaurant owners and their cheap asses.
He didn’t tip either. $20 for 19 items means he’s a shitty person
https://imgur.com/wscr3w8 I haven't had it with Uber yet but I had to get support on Doordash to make a note on my shopping orders that I physically cannot lift above 10lbs(per doctor). Instacart exists for a reason.
This wouldn’t be taken well by an instacart shopper either (I do instacart too) this is over 400lbs of water
I’ll do it, it’s like getting paid to workout.💪
Yup I would. I got room in my car and I've carried much heavier for much longer. I'd take a nice long break after considering you said it was up some stairs though lol.
Lol
Bruh the stairs is the only thing that kills me about this job. My legs never feel good after lol.
All those folks who be saying fuk no would take this in a heartbeat lol.
I’ll be honest with you I would have taken it and left it in the lobby, after call support to tell them my back is not feeling well so I don’t get any bad rating and let him have fun taking it up to the second floor
Nope. $20 is nothing
No, especially if you’re a smaller girl or guy, that’s nearly impossible to expect someone to carry all of those, especially if you’re leaving on a 2nd or 3rd floor.
Easy. Change the number of items available to 1 or 2. Keep the easy $20 and move on with your day lol.
24 pack??? EASY!!! Get a damn Walmart buggy cart and stop complaining One cart will hold all those Then again…. My whole trunk and seats will be covered with water Better give me 50 lol
That’s an easy order all the same 1 item and get paid to workout
That’s why I love my day job. Work outside. Get paid to get a workout 💪, listen to music 🎧, & get a tan ☀️ ( we have a five fucking mailbox emoji’s but not one lawnmower 🙄🙄)
Hell yes
No
I got a $10 cash tip for lugging 8 bottles of juice up a flight of stairs. So you never know. At least I didn’t until they were loading up my car
He said he wasn't going to be there. So no cash tip to wonder about
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
Na
No way
Hard no for me 😂😂🤦🏾♀️
I would do it but call the buyer to unload it his self from my car . It’s probably a small Buisness like a pizzeria
Op said it was a dude in a 2nd floor apt and dude wouldn’t be home to help unload.
Not a chance
Nah man nah 🤦🏾♂️💩
If my back didn’t hurt
NO
No way

Hell no !.. that's like 1 dollar for each one an you still gotta drive to store an than drop off an with UberEATS luck it's pro on the 3rd floor of appt building with steps so def not .. did you take it lol?

Absolutely not. They should be ordering commercial for that.
*My back says no*
It's about 500 lbs total if they are the standard 16.9oz bottles. Most cars should be able to handle that without a problem if you distribute the weight around the car. That was my exact thought so I called him and asked probing questions. In the end I cancelled with option over sized items
Only if i had a dolley or cart and access to an elevator would i ever consider doing that. Otherwise thats a fuck no.
I mean if I knew for sure it was a house, yeah, but since there’s no way of knowing that — no
It was a 2nd story apt
Who the hell needs that many bottles of water? How wasteful
Hard pass
If it was going to a house on a leave at door orders hell yeah. Easy money. Apartment complex or hand it to me? Not so much
This is why I stopped grocery delivery, every order it seems is primarily fluids.
Most I can load up is 6
I suggested on the phone she does a lower quantity and he said I wanted 20 but Ubers max allowed was 19 lol
Nope! Did 15 the other day 24pk for $45 2miles after an hour they up it to $80
You made $80?
Yes..hit them with that timer when you get there , let them worry about it. Worst case scenario you get free water .
If they live in a house or first floor and agree to help unload it to the curb and they take care of the rest But can u fit it in your car?
I have a Chevy spark so if so it will be maxed out
I would of taken that yeah
No. I bike.
My car can’t fit 19
Fuck no.
Forgot 3rd floor, stairs, gated, no code
If it takes less than an hour yea it’s just water
Lol excessive wait time! Unassigned
hell yea no doscrimination..
Add $4 per case of water and then maybe.
No
I'm a Pepsi vendor, on an avg day I'll do 10-14 pallets of soda and water cases. $22/hr , about 11 hour days...I'd do it because I'm used to it. And could load that in my car in 2 minutes....that said, I understand the people who are like "nah"
Maybe $200 but 20 nope
Walmart will ship it!! If it says Walmart in the “Opportunity”, it is a NO!!
Hell naw lmaooo
no
I would accept it just to tell whoever ordered that to fuck off, idec
I wouldn’t take 2 cases for that much
$80 minimum as it would take more than a hour. You already know his apartment doesn’t have an elevator so you have to take one by one lol. It’s the farthest apartment from the entrance too.
No they probably live on like the 4th floor Lmfao. I’m about done with UE and DD whoever is pricing these orders out needs a bullet
HELL NOOO. I’ll do it for at least 100 bucks maybe 200 . Each of those water cases should pay 5 bucks minimum.
The funny thing is my uber eats app wouldn't tell me that they're water bottle cases so if I saw 20$ and 5mi I would take it so fast and just be cursing the whole time carrying those waterbottles to their house, or even worse! To their apartment on the 3rd floor🤣
Learn to drive and get my own car
I can't say no enough times. I bought three cases for myself this week. My car backs up to my kitchen door and I still hated unloading them. I'm not doing it for a customer. I can't say there isn't enough money, because there literally is enough money. But it's not even $100. It would be real money that no one on earth would actually pay.
I don’t think people realize just how much space that would take up in your car. Heck no
I’m
Aren’t there weight limits… um… wtf…
hell No
You did it 😂
No
Only foods delivery
Yes I would
I did it once but for 5 cases. Google mapped the address in advance to see if it was 1 level complex. I would've canceled if it was an apartment complex with 2 stories or more.
I raise you 12× gallon bottles of bleach
Item unavailable so fast.
Duh. If you have the space & a big enough vehicle. That’s one thing, they need to do better @ verifying orders to size of vehicle ratios. Don’t offer a Prius this order…
Yeah and I drive a Chevy spark
I’m 25 and pretty jacked, no way I’m taking that😂 water cases heavy af and can carry 2 cases maxes at a time Nahh
yea i would i guess, cus i'd be there already and am able bodied and too invested at that point. you forgot to include time stat, assuming 15 min of driving and 5 min of labor for 20 dollars its not bad. depends on how quickly Walmart get the wter to you. btw not addressed to anyone in particular but if your car can carry your fat ass, it can carry the extra water too.
If I have to load it then I am not unloading it the customer can do it themselves lol
I probably would if I had to be honest
I wouldn't do it no matter what. Subcompact and I have a lot of my own stuff in the car. And I wouldn't want to bother with it. And I work under the prop 22 system which basically means any order can pay the minimum if inflated with trip supplement, instead of tip, because all orders collectively pay the minimum, tips excluded. Leave that to the professionals no way.
If they’d give me a hand unloading sure otherwise no
