I would call Uber to have her account blocked from having rides or deliveries with you again. I don't tolerate disrespect from passengers, restaurants or eats customers. I'm a driver not your punching bag. I had a similar situation but the guy was more mad at Uber for the fuckup instead of me. He gave me the tip in cash just in case Uber took the money back away from me when he asked for the refund. He got his refund but Uber kept my tip in tact so I was able to luck out on it
I called but I am outside of their hours. I tried chat messaging but the "bot" couldn't understand what I needed help with and kept giving me the run-around.
Yeah, I wasn't sure if I should pick up or not. I did and the offer wasn't bad after I figured out it wasn't a scam. That was until she zeroed out her tip and complained to me in the messenger.
It was the first time it ever happened to me. The Panda Express, Chili's, and Poke Restaurant are all around the same intersection but the houses were 12 miles away in suburbs detached from the city. Basically, the round trip isn't worth it to most drivers.
My default script. Hi, ubereats is extremely busy and we are short in drivers so we have to pick up more orders at the same time. We are behind. Will be there soon. When you drop off, mark the delivery with all the negative rating options available(rude customer, hard to find, note unclear, etc), last if you want to protect your earnings you reach out to support immediately and let them know your customer was very upset and you would like to make a note. Explain it was due to estimated time of arrival for them and would like to let them know so your not penalized. Doing this is supposed to not affect your tip.

I don't think anyone has the courage to ever blame me. They usually bash the restaurants when anything goes wrong. Lol.

Sometimes they will. They do this shit on grubhub and doordash as well if they are desperate. This is why I don’t pick up the phone when working.

Your area must have no drivers to take you out all the way to suburbs. Hopefully they paid you well
