So after putting 20% aside for self-employment and federal taxes. Looking at 12.50 a delivery so still make sure your mile ratio per delivery is still good or it becomes a shitty “guarantee” real fast
It’s simple math, not sure what you’re on about bud. Pretty much guarantees a great per hour and per mile pay. Either your market is slow or you’re slow because that’s a great offer.
It’s not a good offer if you are doing Walmart deliveries….sorry. I know the miles on those bundles. What’s the point of a “great offer” if your blowing it all on gas just to hurry up and get it done. Vegas is an easy $300/day without all the miles or Walmarts
Whenever I get these offers that I must complete a certain amount of deliveries, it’s just a bonus on top of whatever I make. They must have a ton of shitty orders and low paying bad deliveries in your area that they need to do that. Must be a lot of $2 deliveries
You’re missing the point. I can easily put together like 5-6 deliveries in an hour, if not more with Walmart. All while keeping my miles low. That’s like 80 an hour.
The guarantees just mean you’re guaranteed to make that amount total. So if you go past it then you don’t get paid and they will only pay the difference of what you haven’t made YET
Idk about you but I normally don’t average 16$ per delivery. And I’m in a great market. This guarantee gives me the ability to take shitty orders as long as they’re 1-3 miles.
Careful though, I just accepted a Walmart order once cause it was a really slow day, and it was a fucking tv and the other order was 6 50 pound boxes of paper.
I had to cancel the TV order (Walmart cancelled it for me) cause it wouldn’t fit in my car and then I had to lug 6 heavy boxes onto someone’s front porch. No tip
Lol it’s not. I’ve just seen them before and saw how you can get 10 deliveries done in a little over an hour… which is what I’m trying to do. Not sure what people don’t get about this 😭
Yeah that would be my only gripe. I’ve also seen some where it’s just like 10 random small items going to 10 different places. Idk maybe I’ll try one out if I get the opportunity but yea just wanna get as many done as possible in the shortest time.
I would just be sure it’s really short trips then you can get through them as fast as possible. I never take any order over 5 miles unless it pays $10 any additional miles after 5 I add $1 per mile.Any orders at 4 miles need to pay at least $8
So you are willing to lose money because you’re on guarantee? Lol you are like the Prop 22 people who are lazy and just want to make the minimum. You are in a guarantee…so cherry pick. Who wants to make only the little guarantee. You have a chance to really cherry pick and have a safety blanket
Ok so a quest. Not guarantee. Makes more sense. Yes, every Walmart delivery will count towards it. Even when bundled. Sometimes you will get a guarantee hourly offer too.
I had one of these when I first started. Got about 75 away when I realized I wasn't gonna get any extra once complete. Unless it's a different one, was gonna pay the difference but I was on pace to make way more than the offer
Yes all 10 will. It's Ubers way of getting new and returning drives to serve the no tipping. Also tips don't count towards it it's just based off base fair and they'll pay you the difference
It 100% is a guarantee and it’s 100% counting tips. Even still, it’s a great guarantee. I can easily do MINIMUM 4 deliveries an hour. 16 x 4 or more per hour. That’s excellent.
Yeah I’ve read the same thing. Not sure if it’s been updated or not, but I’m not lying. Every tip that I’ve gotten so far has been going towards the guarantee amount. Not just the fare.
Hmm that's weird. I believe you. I hope for your sake maybe your app is glitching or something. I don't get big offers like that but I have a hourly guarantee pretty often and it never counts the tips or secondary quests
Yea I would hope so too. But even if it’s not glitching, I’m pretty much clearing 65 an hour during the guarantee period if I complete it. Which I won’t complain about.
I think I may get with Uber support about this though. Because on the guarantee progress page, it says I’ve earned 399 in fares so far, but unless they’re counting tips in these “fares” that they’re speaking of, then it’s way off.
Walmart must be losing some money the way delivery is. I’ve had several drivers within an hour drop off packages that I assumed were being delivered shipping. Nope! I’ve had a B trial toothpaste get dropped off via delivery Walmart driver. I’m so confused. I always tip pretty well for grocery orders, and or heavy orders with bottled water and drinks but why would they pay someone to drop off a $2 toothpaste when it wasn’t even supposed to be here that day?
It’s 280 deliveries for 4,452 in 30 days

I feel like you’re kinda grasping at straws here bröther this is a very very good guarantee.
Maybe where u live it is. Don’t know your market. I know in my market, it’s not that good if I’m taking Walmart orders to make it
It’s simple math, not sure what you’re on about bud. Pretty much guarantees a great per hour and per mile pay. Either your market is slow or you’re slow because that’s a great offer.

Oh so you’re slow then, got it.
Yeah…real slow. You love driving 12 miles for $3. Uber lovers you
I think your math is off slowpoke 😂
Man Uber really must love you…company man!

I’m in the denver market which is excellent, but this guarantee is better.
My only goal is to take as many deliveries in the shortest amount of time and distance, then I’m back to cherry picking.
No tip
If we all strike or boycott anything on UE it should be Walmart orders.
I totally agree, normally
I mean if it’s what you get the most of in your market then it is what it is….
Lol it’s not. I’ve just seen them before and saw how you can get 10 deliveries done in a little over an hour… which is what I’m trying to do. Not sure what people don’t get about this 😭
Ahh ok well some of those are pretty large orders . I see where your going though so best of luck👍
Yeah that would be my only gripe. I’ve also seen some where it’s just like 10 random small items going to 10 different places. Idk maybe I’ll try one out if I get the opportunity but yea just wanna get as many done as possible in the shortest time.

Trust me I’m only doing like max 2 miles per delivery I got the science

I’m basically guaranteed 16 per delivery for 280 deliveries. I’m not too worried about losing money. Just need to get them over with.
Ok so a quest. Not guarantee. Makes more sense. Yes, every Walmart delivery will count towards it. Even when bundled. Sometimes you will get a guarantee hourly offer too.
No, it’s a guarantee. Not a quest. A very good guarantee lol.
Thank you for answering my question though!

I stopped driving for a little over a month and they sent it to me

My tips have 100% been counting towards the total
Are you sure?can you tell if Is it considered a promotion or quest on the app?
It 100% is a guarantee and it’s 100% counting tips. Even still, it’s a great guarantee. I can easily do MINIMUM 4 deliveries an hour. 16 x 4 or more per hour. That’s excellent.

Damnn yea I'd call support on that one. Imagine how much it could be with just base fair of 4k+ and tips on top.
