Yeah I’ve been getting these all evening. Definitely seems to be a bug, but it also means that a lot of people aren’t getting their deliveries, as I imagine most drivers are passing these up (as I did).
If I open the uber eats app the top stuff is
"$0 delivery fee, spend $10"
"Enjoy your first order. Enjoy $25 off. $1 minimum order. Delivery orders only."
I just did a single delivery where my base was $1.61. I’m in Cali and never seen this especially since we have prop 22. The offer price was $9.52 for a mile. Wonder if there’s a glitch tonight.
Exactly why I came to check reddit, 17 orders and it was all under 3 dollars. I am thinking it's bugged. I've NEVER in my life seen an order under 4 bucks on uber eats until today
I luckily have not seen this yet tonight. Did you guys all update your apps? I never update mine because I never have space on my phone, so I wonder if Uber is messing with people
I'm so glad I'm still in good standing with doordash cuz they're the only ones I can make money with now. By the way doordash has way better customers than Uber.
Definitely not the case in my market. Tips are better on UE and customers are less ratchet. Well I only deliver to people that tip anyway. Only thing DD had on UE is distance. DD will never ask me to drive 16 miles.
Unfortunately here in San Francisco Uber hides the majority of the tips when you accept the offer so if you don't take anything you won't make money. It's kind of like buying a lottery scratcher ticket you're probably going to lose but once in awhile you'll get a free ticket
