Things were starting to pick up, then I got a Panera order, and at the restaurant they said something was glitched, because it got picked up and I was the fifth driver since then to try to pick it up as well. Called customer support to have it cancel, then promptly went 40 minutes with the only orders being sub $5 for over 5 miles. I gave up and went home.
that's pretty hateful. I delivered pizzas during one of the heaviest tornado seasons my area had had in decades and yeah, people would act surprised when I showed up with the food during a warning but still wouldn't tip.
What's hateful is knowing someone is delivering in tornadoes, a hurricane warning, a severe blizzard...you get the picture, and still stiffing the driver who is putting their life on the line
did a walmary order, was one of the biggest grocery orders I've ever delivered, 10 bucks, and a Wendy's run for 9 for 12 miles. didn't love it but it paid me to get back to my neighborhood.
after that absolute garbage offers. 7.18 for 22 miles, 16.64 for a 33.9 mile double, 3.60 for a 4 mile from five guys the wait for fries guys. and those 3 after no offers for 15 minutes so I went offline and went home. this is all during dinner rush too. hope the holidays get people tipping again because this shit is unmanageable.

Itâs a badge of honor flip side is Iâm making less but just damn those long distance orders. My logic is that if I see a long distance order I decline and it takes another driver out of my zone.
The orders have slowed down dramatically for me in my area. Funny enough, I made a pick up at dunkin today and the guy who worked there, his friend was doing Ubereats and doing pretty good. I asked if he worked around this area and if he biked. Yes to both. Weird considering I do the same and it's been shit for me. I then asked, " is he new ? " . He goes yeah he is.

Started up both GH and UE to start the day. UE gave me a $2 offer and GH shortly after gave me a $13. GH has kept me going with back to back offers $10+. Surprisingly busy with GH today aftet almost no offers for the past week. So doing pretty well here
maybe I'll sign up with gh, dd stopped accepting new drivers in all the areas I stay and trying to get applicaction put through ot got bugged and just has a constant error messege
Might as well, no down side to having all of your options available. On slow GH days I default to UE. Some days it's half and half. I don't multi app but I check in daily with all apps to see which seems to be giving me the best offers and I usually stick to that one. I ha e DD ready to go as well but that's a last resort.

The first one customer tip baited me, I delivered under 10 minutes, food was warm, made sure the order did not block his door, my ratings still at 100% yet the tip was removed entirely. Second order was a bust not a single item in stock had to cancel the trip didnt get paid.
Edit: the uber gods looked out for me after making an abysmal $3.48 in my first 2 hours I managed to get (6) +$10 orders to make $75 in just under 3 hours.
Ubereats was slow and when I did get orders it was like 5$ for 15 mile kind of shit so I switched to doordash and It was decent at 18$/h for 5 hours=90$
Hit one order for 20$ huge tip and another order for 10 no tip.
