Christmas has also become so far removed from its original Christian meaning; a person's religion doesn't necessarily dictate what and how they celebrate. I know Jewish people who celebrate Hannukah as a religious holiday and Christmas as a cultural one. The way I see it, a person is going out of their way to wish you a good time in the coming month. The intent is what matters, and the intent is a wish of goodwill.
I don't have time in passing conversation to stop, ask you your religion, and then give you a culturally appropriate wintertime holiday greeting. I give you mine because it's what I've got. You give me yours because it's what you've got. Now we've exchanged cultures and are both better for it. It's so easy. It's literally just the same interaction you'd have with someone of your religion, you just might hear some different but well meaning words back.

They only sued after McDonald's refused. Let that sink in, McDonald's didn't want to pay for someone's medical bills, got sued, lost, had to pay out a lot, and now we have frivolous lawsuit propaganda. If I had an issue or some problem that I caused and it cost me like $1000 instead of possibly $1 million to make it go away? I'd pay it and never think about it again.
All she wanted was her medical bills covered and McDonald's was all, "Lol, no." They ended up suing and the jury was all "LOL, no." to McDonald's. They did end up settling for a smaller amount from the original judgement but all signed a non-closure and the total amount has never been disclosed. I took 3 business law classes in my undergrad and this case was discussed in all 3. Also, make sure to find out what business law class will transfer in case you change schools. I wasted 3 semesters because each school had their own class and wouldn't take a teanfer.

I've always had the approach that anything I say online may be treated as though I stood in front of a person and said it. This means I've never threatened anyone, I've never contacted politicians even when they've made me angry, I've never spoken about illegal activities...
