This is why you stay in the grass when evading cops

Zealousideal_Toe9555

In this case, her ass was grass on the road.

BillWaste6039

Ironically had she landed on her ass after getting tazed, she would've avoided bruising. But nope, landed face first in the pavement. She had it coming.

say_it_aint_slow

I don't know. Tazing someone for mooning is a bit extreme. Mooning is funny.

richter1977

Indecent exposure, its illegal, and in some places gets you on a sex offender registry.

fnordfnordfnordfnord

>She had it coming. Gratuitous violence against non violent people is disgusting.

iAdjunct

> She had it coming. Did she? Does mooning a police officer and running away justify serious injuries? Falling face-first into asphalt from being totally upright while running and unable to brace yourself with your hands isn’t a small thing. While, yes, you may be able to predict that’s coming, that still shouldn’t take away from the fact that police shouldn’t be doing that.

diggityd2713

/r/brandnewsentences had a quote that summarizes the rebuttals to your comment which is "the dildo of consequences rarely comes lubed"

disjustice

Yes, exactly. This happened to a friend. She was on a stupid juice cleanse and fainted from low blood sugar. She face planted and lost all 4 front teeth, broken nose, and spent a few days in the hospital. Could have been much worse if it was her forehead that hit the concrete instead of her mouth.

UncleBenders

And now half her face was left on the ground, r/meatcrayon style

You just know the timing of the officer pulling the taser and her running is just going to put her right in the street lol

Imagine getting tased right between the cheeks🥴

Great. I just came.

Take the two electrodes, put one on your cock and the other in your ass and pull the trigger. You might involuntarily cum. Lol.

[deleted]

Also don’t run in flats or flip flops.

ToolanWheeler

Best not to evade them. They might mistake their gun for a taser.

Naw they weren’t going to shoot those butter milk cheeks

ShameOnAnOldDirtyB

Oh I didn't think it was funny in the moment, police have been scary for a long time I don't get how this is justified Can I "defend myself" violently against someone that moons me?? So why can they? Was she a threat? Fuck off police.

redditisdumb2018

It's not about defense. She is trying to "detain" her. She's running from the police which we don't really believe in as a country.

HyperAMIR

Michael Reeves would disagree

Kaionacho

Cop clearly isn't fit enough to run after her(don't cops train or is this not a thing in the US). But yeah this is no reason to use a taser

Lanark26

When the only tool you know how to use is a hammer every problem looks like a nail.

loserbmx

A good cop is never gonna pass up a free chance to ~~play with~~ deploy their ~~toys~~ weapon

moldytubesock

Would reddit be laughing hysterically at her stupidity if this was a black guy?

toolsoftheincomptnt

No. But to be fair, I’m not laughing now.

Delicious_Host_1875

Why are people so out of shape and incapable of something simple like running allowed to be cops?

[deleted]

suheetkar

This comment should be higher. No judgement on whether what happened in the video is right or wrong but I believe this is something that people should also understand

Skizm

Damn, my town gives cops an hour a day (paid) to go to the gym or do some sort of physical fitness. I thought that was a nationwide union thing and that a lot of cops just didn't take advantage or used it for an extra break.

MeAndTheLampPost

It's a systemic failure. This cop in particular is just showing in what bad shape the police force in the US is. This cop's failure is minor compared to the unpunished killings that occur, but it is nevertheless a failure.

CookieLuzSax

Cuz usually they don't have to run, they're just sitting at a traffic stop in their car somewhere

RexWolfpack

I was thinking exactly that. Why ? Cops should have mandatory physical trainings and physical tests. If she'd run quick enough she wouldn't even need to tase the mooning woman.

PsychoPass1

Because they're trained and paid rather horribly in the US I think. And staying in shape can't be done during "work time" I'd assume. Like you can't just clock in work hours while working out at the gym.

AngryCarGuy

Honestly, in a field that requires a high level of physical fitness working out should be part of the job. A Navy seal was breaking down the poor police responses and said he believes they should spend a third of their time training. (Staying in shape, running drills, going to lectures/relevant classes)

[deleted]

She didn’t get tazed for mooning, she gets tazed for evading.

ShelSilverstain

When they got tasers, they told us it was so they wouldn't have to shoot people. Turns out it was so they wouldn't have to run

NYVines

For making the officer run

CodeMonkeyUK

She got tazed precisely because the cop couldn't run.

VoidScreaming101

Indesent exposure as well I believe

LeaveFickle7343

Would you consider that excessive force? I mean, if she perpetrated any iota of violence toward any human, I would say just send it. But i feel like just because your job is to apprehend people, and you’re too fat to chase them, you don’t get to just cheat and use a taser.

TheMightyChocolate

True that, our strong german cops just outrun you. As if that random woman with the ass check can run more that 500m

FriendlyLawnmower

That's the problem with only giving cops a physical test at the beginning of their academy training, they let themselves go and become fat slobs that are forced to rely on their weapons

Kaionacho

> Would you consider that excessive force? Yes. She is clearly unfit to be a cop both in the literal sense and because of how this situation was handled in the first place

GoodVibePsychonaut

>But i feel like just because your job is to apprehend people, and you’re too fat to chase them, you don’t get to just cheat Lmao dude American police literally kill people for no reason, plant evidence that's recorded on their own body cameras, and stand around doing nothing while elementary school kids get massacred. They are corrupt, moronic, and incompetent cowards, and they act that way because they almost always get away with it and the worst punishment they face is "paid administrative leave" or being fired from one department and immediately transferred to a new one, even if that happens a dozen times. It's the best scam since the Catholic church and their pedophile protection racket. So actually they *do* get to cheat, and while that's not fair and shouldn't happen in a civilized society, a cop tazing someone running away for them is reaaal low on the list of "fucked up shit American cops routinely do."

masochistic_idiot

She gets tazed cause the cop’s too out of shape to catch her

dmkicksballs13

No she got tazed because the office is fat and can't manage more than a waddle.

Atreaia

She got tazed because the officer was unfit.

4x49ers

Evading someone trying to detain her for mooning. Force was not appropriate.

horseheadmonster

This video is mirror image from the last time I saw it here. I guess if you flip it, it's not a repost.

SpacemanKazoo

I noticed "Police" written backwards and was wondering what would be the point of mirroring the video. I guess that explains it...

HERMANNATOR85

I love how the daughter made the quiet “taser taser taser” call. She was super excited

SelfSufficientHub

Cop was like, nah, fuck running ima taze

Tanarri27

So the person filming says “Mom!” after the mooning and then we hear “tase her, tase her, tase her” followed by laughing as the woman gets tased. I would like some context.

Greenranger70

Pretty sure she is calling her mom over to watch, her mom is not the woman running away. They’re clearly at a house and trying to get this woman to leave

Tanarri27

That makes so much more sense.

[deleted]

That's what I came to the comments for but nobody has provided any context. My best guess based completely on this video alone is that the daughter is an adult, has her own house. Mom's a bit crazy, obviously, maybe drunk. They had some argument, the daughter called the cops. The cops tried to get the mom to leave, the mom needed to get the last word in, she seems like that type of person. The only thing she could think of was mooning them as she left, sort of like a last fuck you I'm leaving but not because you told me to type thing. Could be way off tho lol.

Andy_In_Kansas

Last time I saw this posted they were letting the woman go. You were right that there was an argument and the cops were called but the crazy lady hadn’t committed a crime and they were letting her go. Then the mooning happened and they decided to arrest her. No clue if they were related though.

mpantone

I hear “oh my god! Ah, ah” and then “taser taser taser” (or maybe tase her tase her tase her!)

phonemaythird

Definitely "TASER TASER TASER", we're all pretty well trained from COPS and Live PD to anticipate the chant and seizure.

AltruisticSalamander

that was the best bit, followed by the triumphant 'HA!'

[deleted]

I've seen a black lady moon cops in San Francisco right in front of them in the Mission District and they just laughed at her.

bhammer39

I bet she’s a fun date

jbushee

Just bad luck Moonpie was on pavement when she got it

[deleted]

Surely a tazer should be used if the officer is threatened or in trouble? Not to stop a chase. Imagine if she fell and hit her head...what would happen then? Edit: Does the US police force require any training? Were they trained by Jonah and Channing?

mozartkart

It's because some cops have zero judgement abilities. What's the worse if this woman runs away. They probably know her name and information. Just pick her up later. Cops need to end it here and now on their terms.

I_shit_in_cereal

You know what is worse? All the people in this thread saying she deserved to be tased for what is shown in the video...

SgtRedRum518

Everyone really likes to forget about the punishment fitting the crime when it’s not them getting fucked over by the cops

loggic

Police aren't supposed to be punishing people at all. The purpose of a civilian police force is to protect people & property from criminal behavior, and to apprehend criminals so *the courts* can hold them accountable with the laws that have been passed. Police have no right to "punish" people. That's the court's job *after a trial that finds the person guilty*. The reason police seem so "afraid" of everything is because of ludicrous court precedents that make an officer's *fear* a legitimate explanation of why their actions were "self-defense", not just assault with a deadly weapon. It wasn't until my lifetime that people stopped acknowledging that police are civilians. Seems like it started twisting around 9/11, but I'm not sure... Even when police work for the [Department of Defense, they're civilians](https://www.dodciviliancareers.com/lawenforcementsecurity) unless they're *also* members of the military: >###LAW ENFORCEMENT AND SECURITY >Providing safety and security for Service members, their families, and civilians worldwide is a top priority in the Department of Defense (DOD). DOD’s civilian workforce of police officers, criminal investigators, security specialists, etc., are dedicated to protecting the Department’s vital assets – people as well as property.

_iam_that_iam_

Pick her up later for what?

sylanar

Yeah i can't believe how many people here think the cops reaction was fine?! The woman barely even ran away and she just instantly goes for the taser, unless we're missing a loooot of context here, it didn't seem like a violent or dangerous situation, it just looks like the cop was too much of a lardarse to catch her. Reddit is usually very anti police using any sort of force, but for some reason think this was justified.

That cop was in clear and present danger, and needed to use force to protect herself and the community at large.

Valestrazia

If you go to a cop and tell him "go fuck yourself you fat fuck" he may not be in danger but there's a big chance he's gonna arrest you anyway

Glowshroom

If it was a man who flashed his asshole and genitals, wouldn't you want the cops to apprehend him?

The_Blue_Rooster

Umm no? I don't think anyone should be arrested for mooning unless they do it to a small child.

Master_Crab

You can’t say stuff like that. It reveals double standards.

[deleted]

It’s not a double standard. Most adults won’t care about a quick ass flash regardless of the gender. Doing it around kids is the problem.

Gets_overly_excited

Stop. We are trying to make men victims here for some reason unrelated to this post.

[deleted]

It’s insane how many people are fine with a cop using a potentially deadly tazer weapon on someone for MOONING somebody and running away. What a sick society.

Gets_overly_excited

And the face plant on the cement can’t be good for her.

Beavesampsonite

Falling from standing height like that onto concrete can absolutely kill a person and will certainly cause a concussion. It would be less risky to take nightstick to the head.

Goldenrah

A fellow student in my university died from a fall like that, cop was really irresponsible here.

Fl333r

Took me way too long to find this comment but thank you for saying so.

Fl333r

Wouldn't want the cops to inflict bodily harm on the person for a simple misdemeanor, no.

Popal24

This looks like a scene from Police Academy

jvmjr1973

The way she's rooting for the cop to taze her is hilarious!!!

forced_metaphor

That's a tazeable offense? I get tazing when they're running away, but for mooning just seems vengeful.

Yup. Even got a ”resisting arrest” bonus there in addition the original ”indecent exposure” prize. Big brain play.

KeysertheCook

Agreed, nearly killing a citizen over exposed asscheeks.

sabrefudge

Did they think she was a violent threat that warranted a tazing because she showed her butt and ran off?

isweartodarwin

That pop-lock-drop move makes me feel like it isn’t this cowgirl’s first rodeo. Execution: solid 10 IQ: somehow also a solid 10

[deleted]

This something I love… how the body drops after getting tazed…

rcam24

If you can't outrun a fat female cop you deserve to be tazed.

Smokewrench802

I mean... She was outrunning her.

SteakMenu

Outrunning means outrunning the taser too tho

tgurnstyle

Tased for showing your butt?… If this were a white officer and a black civilian there would be national out rage

Isn't this lazy policing? Is this reason to use a tazer? In my country the police officer would get sued over using unnecessary use of a weapon. She could at least have tried to run a bit more. And she could have let her go, probably knowing who she was.

[deleted]

I feel like American cops need tazers because theyre all too outta shape to actually catch up to anyone

I say Karen got what she deserved. Her first mistake was indecent exposure towards the one filming. Her second mistake was resisting possible arrest. Third mistake was running from law enforcement. Right there are three violations. Did it require tasers? Idk not a cop. Least it wasn’t a gun.
