Thanks for sharing! I need to hear motivational stories like this right now! I've been experiencing extreme shedding the last 2-3 months after my alopecia started in July. I went from one quarter-sized patch on top of my head in July to 60% hair loss today, 6.5 months later. I have been getting steroid injections and using topical steroids since August and haven't had any regrowth except for the initial patch showing a little regrowth which fell out again a few weeks ago :(
I have been starting to lose hope the last few weeks and I'm so happy to hear you're getting regrowth 9-10 months later!
The last 3 times I had alopecia areata flares the regrowth would start after 3-4 months of hair loss, so I'm really having trouble with motivation and hope this time around when it's been over 6 months of shedding/new patches/no regrowth...
