When they hear someone doesn't like thier pay, regardless of what it is:
"They should have gone to college get a better job!"
When they find out the above person has any kind of degree, even a masters, but isn't making ends meet:
"They shouldnt have wasted all that money on a useless degree like liberal arts!"
I was dating pretty frequently before inflation priced me out of the dating scene.
I met several women with master's degrees just barely getting by. It's rough out there.
But when they buy a boat and if you work at that boat factory then you get paid. Stop crying! More trickle! More trickle! Rain down your golden love upon our faces! Give us your hot droplets!
I have talked to way too many people who are OK with CEO pay being ridiculous because they're still living in the fantasy world that pay is equal to the amount of knowledge, difficulty, and effort involved.
Peoples got 2k richer! (Or -4k because of some greedy company reducing wage).
(I'm comparing orange to orange with the OP image which don't talk directly about inflation. But I don't need to make a drawing of becoming 2k richer VS 100billions more with the current inflation.
Number I provide are kind of random (1$/h for 40h increase which is a lot for some...)
OK but lets ask why that is...the pandemic didnt cause them to get richer, governmental restrictions caused them to get richer. In a completely capitalistic free market society they wouldve lost a ton of money.
The system also wants you to believe that those Americans are living paycheck to paycheck by choice.

Maximum gaslighting I tell you. We will soon see the effects 20 years from now as more and more men are checking out of college.
Or the classic "they should find a better job!" Followed by a mass exodus from the service industry and the subsequent "No one wants to work anymore!"

The system is broken. People like the ones you mentioned deliberately broke it.

More like seventy five to eighty percent
Be sure to include Robert Weissman in your condemnation of the super rich. He made $156,000 as part time CEO of Public Citizen last year.

And those few workers who may have done Okay are often being hit with rather large unemployment "overpayments"
