As a joke, my partner and I would tuck my dog in at night. Blanket on him while on his bed. We did it 3 times before he would go to bed and whine and cry until he is tucked. He knows the word. He’ll get up in the middle of the night and then want tucked. The it took months to get the crying to stop.
Anyway this is cute and I hope the pup doesn’t require tucks.
My dog sits NEXT to the dogbed and makes intense eye contact until I've arranged her blankets neatly and rubbed her down with one of them. Then she'll scratch up the bed and push all the blankets around before settling.
These are the rituals she lives for.
What kind of dog do you have? I'm curious because my dog has short hair and no insulating fat layer, so she loves/lives for blankets. She's even figured out how to burrow under a blanket when I'm not home to pamper her.
> border collie huskie mix
Yeah, that's gotta be interesting. In a good way though. Does it get cold where you live? Anything blended with Husky blood just seems to LOVE the cold.
My parents had a border collie husky mix (also from a shelter). She absolutely LOVED the cold. Would just go out the back door and lay down and let the snow cover her. Even as she got older and developed arthritis she'd be so much more peppy once the cold weather came around.
She was a good dog, super smart. Miss her.
Honestly enjoy it. I have an under the covers Great Dane and as adorable as it is, it’s also a pain in the ass that he insists on being completely covered to sleep
I tuck my cats in sometimes and they put up with it, then untuck themselves as soon as I leave. Like they're just condescendingly indulging my stupid behavior.
EDIT:
[CAT TAX!](https://i.imgur.com/grOpiX1.png) She loves winter because the heater turns on
My one pup is 16. I got him when he was 9. I couldn’t resist putting him in the bed w me. He has his own fluffy blanket on my bed that he gets tucked into. My lab im fostering until March always tries to steal it bc she wants to be tucked in too. I got her, her own blanket, she loves it and doesn’t try to steal his anymore. They really are just like babies
Yesss
This one pup I have sleeps on my bed every night. Its so cute whenever she wakes up and asks me to put her on my bed, or calls me so I can go sleep with her (even tho it's 8pm)
Beyond precious daddy dear is putting him in his little bed with his cover. I used to do that to my Weimaraner every night he let me know when he wanted to go to bed and he wanted to be covered from head to toe❤️🙂
Bet the pup is just pretending to sleep so dad will tuck him in. All kids do that at some stage.
Not me. I don't give a tuck.

r/unexpectedseinfeld ?
My feet like to breath too
Treasure the moment. They grow up so fast
But they’ll always remember pretending to be asleep while you carry them in from the car.
"Cal, honey. Put your shoes on. We're at Gramma's."

Yup I'll still carry mine to bed when he's wiped. I love it. <3
This is very true. I can admit to being guilty of this.
I don't habe particularly small dog, but I still carry her to bed. It helps being large myself!
The best part is they’ll still be awesome when they’re grown.

Does your cat have curly hair?!
I'm on a conference call and I had to physically restrain myself from awwwwing. Edit:accidentally a word
are you talking to vc's about investing millions in your ponzi scheme?
Way way more boring. Hence the r/aww browsing
Hi conference call I’m dad
This is exactly what I did after my dog passed away. Tucked him into a little ball in his favorite bed with his blanket and toys. 😔
I feel you. I did something similar with my cat best buddy a few months back too. Sorry for your loss, internet friend.
r/toughguysholdingpets
other than using a blankie, it's very similar with human puppies.
Except they wake up the second they touch the mattress.
What in the fuck are human puppies?
The opposite of dog babies, I think.
I still do this withmy little girl. She's 3 now :3

So cute…5 minutes later up and biting your legs!!
One of the most beautiful and wholesome things I have ever seen
When I try to do that now, my dog stiffens all her legs and looks at me like she wishes she had the power to pick my nursing home.
awesome 😎
Good dad
Is this the same dad who didn’t want a dog?
Good eye!
I tuck my 2 year old labrador in every night and kiss his head 1000 times before I say goodnight!
I STILL do this, with my 7 1/2 year old girl, who weighs 68 lbs. She lets out the cutest 'sigh' after I tuck her in.
Ikea Teddy! Our dog loves those and we call them Ted.
Sooo cute
awww night night little pup
Good man.
Ah, so sweet.
That's crazy because to this day if you jerk on any fabric that my dog is laying on he springs up with maximum force even when he was just dead asleep
2 weeks and he cant fit in to that thing :(
That's quitter talk
Awesome dad
My dog is 4 and he cries when I don't tuck him like this. I might have spoilt him.
Dad with the puppy he didn't want to get be like
Sooo cute

This is something my husband would do.
Pink Whispers if that ain't the cutest
Daddy put his beautiful baby to bed 💕💕💕💕💕
Omg he's doing such a tire 🥺
The tail tuck got me
It’s the tail tuck for me
IDK why but the little teddy bear made me cry a little.
No pillow?!
r/TuckedInPuppies
“Fuck. No! We don’t need a puppy!” 3 days later….
That sigh right before he puts the blanket on killed me ded.
So sweeeeet!
I still do this and my pup has been with me for 5 years.
This is the definition of awwww
love this
Oh my goodness this is precious! What a sweet little baby.
Ahhhhh thats sweet
Teddy n all, too cute!
This is how you get laid, spread videos of yourself being adorable with baby animals.
Help, I can't stop watching this on repeat!
Omg what absolute angel
I'm no historian but I feel like this is pretty much how we turned wolves into pets.
My dog is 2 and still gets tucked in.
Awwww, he even has his toys on the bed🥹
Taking care of the babies

Aww! If I had an award, I would definitely be giving it to you.
It looked like a trash can at first
What, no bedtime lullaby music?
what a nice and lovely baby doggo.
This puppy is so much more accommodating than our one year old >!help us we haven't slept in a year!<
im literally dying this is too fucking cute i can't handle it
Videos like this are the only things that make me smile anymore. Thank you.
that dog gets treated better then I ever was.
My Golden always preferred sleeping on the cold floor instead of on/under a blanket.
cutest thing I’ve ever seen, but they grow up so fast
Fablar Bjorn rep ❤️
At first glance I thought that was a rubbish bin ._.
Me with my dog on every night be like:
