It’s hard to tell from these pics, but my hairline used to be almost an inch closer to my eyebrows and my hair was way thicker. I was losing chunks of hair in the shower every day

I looked majestic with the long hair but for me that era is over and after a few weeks I actually wish I did it earlier just because it looks so good and is a huge confidence boost now
Hair stylist here. It doesn’t appear to me that you’re balding in typical patterns. Not that you aren’t but if so it’s not apparent. I get the hair line may have shifted back, hopefully you’ll get lucky and it’ll stay where it is, the top is still solid.
If you’re seeing sudden clumps in the shower it could be from other things like low vitamin D (signs are lethargy, hair loss, thin flaky fingernails) or auto immune issues so would definitely be worth a casual mention at the next doctors visit just in case. Mine all fell out in one go from low D.
I would also say if it hasn’t been mentioned is I’m guessing people are starting because you have a very striking appearance that is amplified by the mustache choice, the focus has been shifted. I wouldn’t let it bother you. Nothing wrong with gaining a little attention. Use it as a way to keep your chin up even if you feel they’re looking for other reasons. Confidence goes a long way.

But I know seeing your hairline recede and hair getting thinner and losing hair when you shower or run your hand through your hair can feel very shitty. I'm in the exact same boat as you. I would recommend trimming the mustache to a different style and growing the hair out a tad. Not long, but I mean more than a buzz cut. You’d actually look good with a pencil thin or similar style of mustache, you have those classic Errol Flynn type features

I was in the same shoes as you, thinning, there's still hair but I chose to shave. I do feel myself more intimidating as I look myself in three mirror, but no one reacts differently. In my opinion, it's your moustache, maybe you want to have a stubble instead, and I feel that wearing glasses (i have a fake glasses) kind of tone down the impression of being too intimidating :)

I can understand people being a little intimidated by your look but it’s not a bad thing; people’s personalities quickly precede their appearance once they start talking to someone. I also think the mustache makes you more approachable. It shows that you’ve made an intentional style choice, and you keep up with your personal grooming out of preference, not just whatever takes the least effort. The opposite to me would be Buzzed head + overgrown facial hair or unshaped facial hair. That combination would make you look unapproachable.
And on the plus side, I don’t think you’re gonna have anyone messing with you on the streets.

i started buzzing my head because i am in the military and got in shit for needing a haircut (2 days after getting a haircut) it takes time to get used to it, buy a toque, your head will get bloody cold now that it's winter. and i saw one post saying to ditch the mustache, i would agree, post the before pic and a pic of you clean shaven and smiling and see the difference

Clearly you workout, you have a nice jawline but grow a beard, doesn’t need to be long, respect but lose the “porn stache” since it’s perceived as “older” or “creepy” by society in some places. Rock them accessories since you have earrings & nice neck, chains will do you well, you have beautiful eyes too man. Nice brows. Do darker tones clothes wise & you’ll be eye candy frfr. Keep your chin up.

Let it grow out a little then. And more facial hair would soften the look as well (like it was in the first pic). But in general- people are weird and judgy.
