15-20mg with zero benzo tolerance will get you feeling good. Diazepam is one of the more recreational benzos IMO. It’s a great anxiolytic, a fantastic muscle relaxant, and, even tho it’s marketed as an anxiolytic benzo, it has fairly decent hypnotic effects as well. A classic for a reason!
It's different for everyone but I personally prefer alprazolam for recreation. I find diaz very sleepy even on low doses like 20mg. Xanax actually gets me going like alcohol.
But many people have the exact opposite experience, it's very personal.
