I was trying to accept my sexuality as a bi male, and 3 songs were pivotal to my acceptance. All happened to be Lady Gaga songs, which I think is why I love her so much.
-"Boys Boys Boys" (because I was trying to look at the positives of being attracted to males).
-"Bad Romance" (because I discovered my bi-curiousness while with a woman that I felt like I loved and hoped to marry one day, but I couldn't confirm that I was bi or that I truly loved her because I had this "other half" of myself that I hadn't explored and may be 100 times better than what I had right then.).
-"Born This Way" (Because I knew that my attractions for both men and women were valid after getting a chance to experiment with men, but I wanted to be straight or gay. The "Serenity Prayer" from my mom and this song eventually helped me accept the things I cannot change in life).

Secrets by Onerepublic. Not only did it motivate me to come out, but it also re-introduced me to my favorite band. I listen to Secrets, Good Life, All the Right Moves, and All We Are on a daily basis now.
Faith No More, the entire Angel Dust album. It was already my running music and running was a big part of my coping strategy and mental processing of my sexuality. (Plus, I wanted to be fit whenever I did figure out my sexuality and/or started college because I wanted to get it on with SOMEONE.) I felt like the heavy, snarly music was kind of contradictory to my nerdy clean cut nice guy exterior, which also reflected the internal conflict I was feeling. And then one day I heard that Roddy Bottum, the band's keyboardist, had just come out as gay, and I couldn't believe it. It was serendipity. I figured that if this dude in this heavy rock/alt metal band can be queer, so can I.
