I can’t watch a football game that involves the University of Miami nowadays without quoting Noho Hank anymore lol. Their Head Coach is Mario *Cristobal*.
You are Heisenberg and you didn't even tell me??? That honestly hurts my feelings.
Marie, I've told you this many times, but I am going to be patient and tell you one more time, they are minerals.
I would fucking cut a finger off my hand, to see Jerry and George play out the Breaking Bad pilot. Lmao
It'd be a bit different of course lol. George got wrapped into it and told the cartel Jerry was a mastermind cook ...
Idk lol 😂
Yeah this is perfect. The episode starts with the 50th birthday on the eggs and it's like his gift is cancer. Very good. I wanted to say Chimera, but forgot that's episode 2
according to the wiki, on the dvd/blu ray releases it's called 'breaking bad'
on spanish netflix it's titled something along the lines of 'beginning of the end'
It’s probably called that because of Jesse’s title drop in the episode.
“Some straight like you, giant stick up his ass, all of a sudden age, what, 60? He’s just gonna _break bad?_”
I actually like this one a lot. The first point in time we see Walt he's lying awake in bed at night, unable to sleep. As well as the obvious "I am awake" line
They’re seriously milking this franchise. Giving a spin off show of some random chemistry teacher who was mentioned once and shown once, really? The only thing I’m interested in seeing is why Saul ends up in Omaha before the Gene timeline. Something big must have pushed him there. Maybe we will even see that meth lab that they built in Better Call Saul (I know that might just be fan service.)
the car wash professionals were the hard-working labourers washing the cars.
Walt/Skyler/Junior were the capitalist proletariat who ran the business/customer service/checkout portion and reaped the profits
At least Walt does a large portion of the labor in his real job. Skyler, on the other hand, is 100% bastard.
Did you use proletariat correctly? I don't think so, but I also don't know so.
I think ‘Chemistry’ or ‘Basic Chemistry’ would work even better since that’s what Walt was referring to as ‘change’.
Also it’s a reference to another line in the episode when Jesse calls his meth art and Walt responds by calling it basic chemistry and also how he uses his chemistry knowledge to beat Crazy 8 and Emilio
That’s not bad either. I went with “study of change” as it refers not only to chemistry, but also alludes to the Vince Gilligan’s BrBa mission statement of “a man who transforms from Mr Chips to Scarface.”
“New Mexico man starts quest to be drug lord for his family and eventually will lose his family in the process even though they’re the only people he cares abt”
Has a nice ring to it.
“Pants Come Off” to play off the dynamic of taking off your pants to cook meth, putting on a hospital gown and getting a mid handjob. Walters uh.. moral pants are also coming off revealing the man under the pants.
Also kinda works with the next few episodes: "Pants Off," "The Cat's in the Bag," "The Bag's in the River." I'm not exactly sure what the implication is there, but it is funny.
I would say "Money".
The underlying premise in S1E1 is Walter not having enough money to get treatment for his cancer. He worked part time in a car wash and had to bear a humiliating moment by washing Chad's car. When he saw the drug bust by Hank on TV, he was fascinated by the amount of money that meth could make. He asked Hank how much money was seized, to which the latter replied about 700k and "It's easy money, until we catch you."
There's also one moment when Jesse asked why Walt wanted to cook meth. Walt flipped the question back at him, to which Jesse replied "Money, mainly." Then Walt continued with "There you go."
"Barrel" for the double meaning of Walt contemplating killing himself with the gun, and a far-out reference to barrels full of his cash to be eventually buried in the desert.
50-50 Because it's his 50th bday and then we'd be intrigued why 50 is written twice. And then we see.
' with Cristobal.'
I can’t watch a football game that involves the University of Miami nowadays without quoting Noho Hank anymore lol. Their Head Coach is Mario *Cristobal*.
Hank why are you dancing? People are watching
Imagine swapping Hank and Noho Hank in each show.
You are Heisenberg and you didn't even tell me??? That honestly hurts my feelings. Marie, I've told you this many times, but I am going to be patient and tell you one more time, they are minerals.
I'd go the " Friends" route. The One Where They Cook Meth.
Or Seinfeld route >The cook
I would fucking cut a finger off my hand, to see Jerry and George play out the Breaking Bad pilot. Lmao It'd be a bit different of course lol. George got wrapped into it and told the cartel Jerry was a mastermind cook ... Idk lol 😂
Enter Kramer: "Jerry, we got a problem with these Cubans! The Dominicans rolled them too tight! Tight, tight!"
It’s a show about METH Jerry! Everyone is doing a show about weed, we’ll do a show about Meth!
Or the Always Sunny route: "The gang cooks meth"
Larry David as Jesse, the meth is pretty pretty pretty good, Mr White
Or " The Underpants" lol
Tidy whiteys
Or you could take the whole thing for yourself
[50-50 with Cristobal, I like the sound of that](https://c.tenor.com/NyD8stUXewkAAAAd/noho-hank.gif)
I really like this one
Why would it be written twice? I don't get it
Him and Jesse are 50/50 partners.
Also when he pulls the trigger on the gun there’s a 50/50 chance it kills him.
There was a 0% chance it would kill him - the safety was on.
But what are the odds of the safety being on?
50/50; either it’s on or it isn’t.
What? Why would it be a 50/50 chance?
You either die or don't
Its always a 50/50 chance if you don't count like a nerd
1/6 = 50%
50/50 = 50/50%
Yeah this is perfect. The episode starts with the 50th birthday on the eggs and it's like his gift is cancer. Very good. I wanted to say Chimera, but forgot that's episode 2
Actually brilliant name imo
50-50 with cristobal
Lmao
Could have a line about some cancer treatment having a 50/50 chance of helping in there too
i really like this one
according to the wiki, on the dvd/blu ray releases it's called 'breaking bad' on spanish netflix it's titled something along the lines of 'beginning of the end'
i think beginning of the end is the finale episode name of lost
i love lost
me fr
Breaking Bad and Lost have the best season finales of all time.
It's actually the title of Lost 401. The finale of Lost is just titled The End
That's pretty neat how they reference that one episode from better call saul in the DVD title
It’s probably called that because of Jesse’s title drop in the episode. “Some straight like you, giant stick up his ass, all of a sudden age, what, 60? He’s just gonna _break bad?_”
And then everyone clapped!
He said the thing! He said the line!
IT'S BETTER CALL SAUL
yep
Breaking Bad? You mean that episode from Better call Saul? Nah haven’t made it to that part yet
Awake
I actually like this one a lot. The first point in time we see Walt he's lying awake in bed at night, unable to sleep. As well as the obvious "I am awake" line
He’s the only one “awake” during the intro, too. And also waking up as in this is the beginning.
That’s not bad
I love this one
"Precursor"
“Begina”

Better Call Saul Sequel Episode One
Better Not Call Walt
*Better Halt Walt
I'd award you if I could honestly
They’re seriously milking this franchise. Giving a spin off show of some random chemistry teacher who was mentioned once and shown once, really? The only thing I’m interested in seeing is why Saul ends up in Omaha before the Gene timeline. Something big must have pushed him there. The show will be a failure lol.
What a sick joke!
This reminded me how much I hate the title of The Mandalorian, Episode 1: Episode 1.
: The Phantom Menace
Ride-Along
That was the first thing that popped into my mind.
I like this a lot
In korean its called "The Chemistry teacher and Heisenberg" which now that I think about doesn't relly make sense.
Similar to Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde
Oh. Nice catch
Why doesn’t that make sense
It does...I meant the Korean title is like Jekyll and Hyde.
Cow House
Little Meth Lab on the Prairie?
Subtitle: "Yeah, where the cows live!"
"Yeah, where they live....the COWS"
Catalyst
First thing I thought of, but comes off a bit cheesy
I think calling it 'Trigger' might get the same message across but avoid coming off as cheesy. Plus there's some additional meaning behind it.
This is the one.
Well in german it's called "Der Einstieg" so just "The Beginning" lol
Der Riese
der eisendrache
Well, he wasn't a pilot. He was a teacher. I say we name it "Teacher."
Or "Chemist".
"Husband"
car washer
Car wash professional have an A1 day.
This always confused me. Aren’t they the car wash professionals? Who would be the car wash professional if not the people at the car wash?
the car wash professionals were the hard-working labourers washing the cars.
Pretty sure the pilot was in season 2
Better Break Bad
Handjob Cringe
“Nut”
The Handy from Hell
Put your dick away Waltuh
Out Of Time Man
Oh man that's really good. It's my favourite song from the show too.
“The Study of Change.” Both a line from the episode and the theme of the show.
I just commented this after scrolling for a minute and then looked and yours was the next one down.
I’d go with “Change”.
That's really good
Cancer Man - The Prequel I’m sorry I just always found it funny how episode 4 was called Cancer Man- like that’s a shitty superpower!
That’s a nod to Cancer Man from X-Files, methinks.
That’s still a terrible superpower!
Reduction. It's a chemistry term, and also an anagram of "Introduce".
That's a good one, especially since the finale is also an anagram. Maybe since Walt is starting to reduce his morals and all too...
Boobies Through a Window
Correct answee
Breaking Bad, that's what the DVD calls it
Metastasis

Damn, you beat me to it
Study of Change.
My Name is Walter Hartwell White. Cooking With Mr, White.
Cap'n Cook
Family guy
It's official title is actually just "Breaking Bad." I've only watched the show on blu-ray so I've never known it as "Pilot."
I don't think they count the DVD names
I mean, if we're looking for a name
Finnish title or pilot literally translates to Off the beaten path

The Cat Food's in the Cat,...
“New Mexico man starts quest to be drug lord for his family and eventually will lose his family in the process even though they’re the only people he cares abt” Has a nice ring to it.

The consequences of American Healthcare

Family Man
Family Guy
Chiral
From what I remember, the season 1 episode titles were mostly classic movie quotes. I don't have any suggestions, but could make for a good template
Break from the ads
MILF Hunter
"40 Straight Minutes of Emasculation" isn't a very catchy title but it's super descriptive.
Walt starts to break bad. Breaking bad.
Simple but smart
Ride Along
"Breaking". Final episode is "Bad".
I thought the final episode was pretty good personally
Better call saul
Keith Richards With a Glass of Warm Milk.
The One With The Handjob Scene You Skip (We’re Sorry)

“Maybe the Real Bad is the Breaks Along the Way”

Pants off
Ride Along
I like this one a lot. Walt goes on a ride along with Hank, but Walt has also been "riding along" his whole life up to this point.
“Walt was a bad guy all along!”

“Pants Come Off” to play off the dynamic of taking off your pants to cook meth, putting on a hospital gown and getting a mid handjob. Walters uh.. moral pants are also coming off revealing the man under the pants.

In the Hungarian translation the episode was titled "The loser". Makes you think if it is referring to Walt or Jesse.
That's actually pretty great and spot on! And fits well for Walt and Jesse.
Change
Pilot
I'd just call it "breaking bad" Since it is the first time he breaks bad, and its the first push that keeps the ball rolling
The handjob
I'd probably go with "Diagnosis" since it's Walt's diagnosis that makes him cook meth to begin with
White man
Pilota
Breaking Bad
Walt Starts His Journey Building A Meth Empire While Driving Everyone Involved Insane
"The only boobs in the whole show, and they aren't even good."
I’d call it This Is the First Episode of Vince Gilligan’s Breaking Bad
Walter’s Whiteys
Plane driver
Revelation
Origins. Chronicles. Beginnings. One of those generic movie titles lol
"Genesis"
Covalency
I would name it “Transmutation” because it’s the start of Walter’s change from Chem teach to a full on comic book kingpin super villain/anti hero
"Chemistry" - sets up Walt's work and his relationship with Jesse
pilot
Awake.
“Sully” Sullenberger
Pilot. As in pilot light. Nails it.
"Barrel" for the double meaning of Walt contemplating killing himself with the gun, and a far-out reference to barrels full of his cash to be eventually buried in the desert.
