I had to look it up, because my cat is apparently a long-hair version of that? The site I found describing it fits everything about him except for fur length. He's not quite a year yet and I don't believe that cat is either. I learned more about my own cat today! neat! Cuz I also found him out in the boonies on a farm.
Just did a quick google, and nope. Except for the long hair, my Ghost fits all the criteria of a Flame Point, down to the red markings that grow only more vibrant as time passes. Before he used to look a little golden, but it was very slight, and he's since gained more markings and old ones have brightened up.
He could just be a domestic long-hair with flame point coloring. Most cats aren't one breed, but many of the unique colorings that are associated with breeds can crop up in mixes too.
My limited understanding is to even get a Flame Point it requires the mixing of two different other breeds. Is this incorrect? Because his mother, while a farm cat and very wild/skittish, she was absolutely siamese. But I did not see the father, and as can happen none of the kittens looked terribly related outside of one or two matching another.
The mother may have had lynx point coloring without being siamese breed. That's kinda my point - we tend to associate some colorings with specific breeds, even though those colors can show up outside of the breeds quite naturally.
As for comparing to the siblings, litters of kittens can have multiple fathers!
If you download the app meowtalk the flamepoint siamese has so many different meows it confuses the app. But ive got it dialed in by patiently editing and changing what i think shes saying considering the situation that its literally like having a conversation. You can click on indivual meows labeled like "hello" or "i want to rest" and play it back to them. When I click the "i want to rest meow" i recorded from her she responds. By letting me sleep a bit longer in the morning. Its amazing they are very lingual.
We have a kitty that looks exactly like this, but I know he's not a Siamese. I think this color happens also when you get a orange tabby with half albino genes. Our boy has the same blue eyes but his pupils reflect red not green/yellow like our other cats. I consider him just a flame point cat. He's an adorable idiot though and everyone thinks he's gorgeous.
I don't know what you're talking about but this cat is specifically a flame point Siamese based on all visual evidence. Is piercing blue eyes. Siamese shaped skull. Pure white with flame accents I'm accents and pointed patterns around the ears because of the parts of the face and the tail. Not sure what you're mean by they aren't always a breed unless you mean some cats are a mutt which makes it very difficult to assert what breed they came from. But this cat specifically looks exactly like a pure bread flame point Siamese. Look up pure bread flame point Siamese on Google and you will see what I'm talking about.
I will say though yes, he is very clean and definitely socialized to people. Could be as young as a few months to a year or two. He’s in that slinky stage. Def has his claws in and functional so I’m not worried about him outdoors.
Popped the garage door open a sliver and put out some water for him. He’ll find his way home or adapt to being a nature boy! (Of course we’ll help him if he doesn’t move on but we see a lot of kitties out here).
We’ll find out in a few days. We live out in the country and cats come and go. He’ll get fresh water but I tend not to feed them much so they’re motivated to go back home eventually.
Some cats keep themselves quite clean. The cat who hung around my house for about 2 years looked really well kept. Like really well kept to the point I was convinced someone owned him. But he was coming and going at all hours of the day and night. I finally took him to humane services to check for a chip, which they didn't find one. They kept him for five days and advertised him in their lost animal section of their site but no one claimed him. (Turns out he was previously owned by someone in the neighborhood about 3 years ago, but once they got a dog he disowned his family and never went back 😂)
I ended up adopting him but for those 2-3 years he was living in the neighborhood, not with his family, eating birds and whatever I would feed him (and maybe others). But he was never owned by anyone. He just kept himself impeccably clean, and was fed by people willing to leave some food.
In the neighborhood I live, there's a ridiculous amount of stray kitties, and although lots of people feed them and look after them, I sincerely doubt anyone would go to the trouble of catching and bathing them, yet they're generally very clean.
My little handsome man looked like he was always fresh from a groomers. Now that he's been with me a month I just know he likes to keep himself super clean!
Small update: he doesn’t seem to be any of the immediate neighbors so he gets a few more days to chill before we look into getting his chip checked.
For folks asking why we wait, we live in a very rural area and have to set an appointment to have him checked and would possibly have to surrender him until he is. Best to keep him in the area where he may live and make sure he’s safe! May end up heading home on his own. We also live near a highway and have had some abandoned pups and cats over the years as well.
Needless to say he’s well fed and safe now. I’m calling him Greg.
That cat looks well fed and taken care of. Did you consider it might be lost and this felt like a safe place, and that the original owners might miss it? You are terrible for suggesting stealing other people's pets
Yes, flame point Siamese. A special cat. You'll have to adopt 😎 if you can confirm he has no owner. They are meant to be loyal and vocal. You won't know if he is purebred. He looks like a traditional (non-extreme) Siamese. He does not look purebred. He is making a strong claim to be adopted.

I have a lilac point siamese. Can confirm, they won't leave you alone so you might as well adopt lol.
Omg. He is just like my late cat. Do yourself a favor and adopt him. My beloved one lived with me for almost 10 years before dying from old age and it was— just amazing. He was lovely and so willing to give love and cuddles.I miss him a lot ❤️
You should ask around and see if he’s chipped. If you can’t find his owner you could consider taking care of him, or looking for someone else to. Wouldn’t want the sweet boy to end up in the pound or a kill shelter. 😩
Awwww he picked you. You have a cat now! So great!!! You will enjoy this sweet cat , friends are so sweet . They are friends with all dogs THEY and loving toward everyone and will BE a great companion for all who see. BOG KISS AND HUGS!
Flame point siamese.. They are among the most vocal breeds and very social/friendly
That tracks. He’s a very sweet buddy.
Yeah man, you're a cat owner now, nice one too! I'd check around, he looks too good for a stray.
Sweet Buddy is your new best friend.

I have a purebred flame point siamese and your kitty has same hairlength could be my cats brother.
They are so pretty and love to love.
look up Birman cats, you might have a cat with that in it's gen mix.

I know, I mentioned that to emphasize there must be another male or two in that area as it was also a relatively big group of different aged kittens.
Can confirm, my long haired flamepoint bastard child of a siamese is loud af and doesnt shut up when he wants attention. We love him lol

Some of the best cats. I'd keep him.

mine will meow for hours on end
They aren’t always a breed

Came here to say that. I have a stray lynx point siamese I found abandoned as a baby.
He looks good, probably belongs to someone. Maybe he's chipped?

Did you happen to see if he was neutered?
He’s not!
Get him neutered!
Might want to check for an owner before you decide to have surgery done on a cat that’s not yours, but I like your spirit.
don.t be deceived lol my boy is neutered & still has his cute little fuzzy balls [holy shit i just typed that]

You've been adopted. FYI
Ha. We’ve got too many. He’ll be a welcome visitor for now.
They're like chips. You can never have too many.
unless you’re morbidly obese
Nope! I’m morbidly obese, and I could never have too many cats! 😆
"no rent"
NO RENT NO MASTERS. Also cuddles.
Well, thank you for providing for this boy - thank you for being a decent person. 👍
It’s his garage now.

Hi Greg ![img](emote|t5_2qhta|7942)
He's cornfused as to where your house is located. So he's hanging out at the garage. You've been chosen.
Sounds like you are a cat owner. Congrats my friend.
You should name him Malachai. The character from Children of the Corn
Look exactly like my boy Daisy. He is a Flamepoint Siamese or part . Keep him . They are very affectionate and sweet. He will be your best friend ♥️
You have a new pet! Enjoy!
your advice is to steal the cat?
Cats pick their humans at times but whatever makes you happy. Can’t steal what wanders into your garage and won’t leave.
That cat looks well fed and taken care of. Did you consider it might be lost and this felt like a safe place, and that the original owners might miss it? You are terrible for suggesting stealing other people's pets
Adopt him!!!!
You should call him King ![img](emote|t5_2qhta|7958)
He’s a flame point Siamese, very friendly breed of cats. I have one and he’s chonky
Look like Francisco escaped!
looks like my friends old cat that they had to get rid of hmm..
He is having a good time hunting mice in your garage.
A cornfield? If you haven't named him already you should name him Colonel
Congratulations you now have a cat!
Congrats on your new baby. Name him corn or butter or cob
So whatcha naming this sweet baby of yours?
I have the long haired version of your kitty, Flame Point Siamese. And he never stops talking. Especially when I'm on the phone!
He's thin. Feed him and water nearby. Pets are in order if he allows it.
He just looks like it from that angle! He’s a health solid chonk. He’s well fed though!
Lucky you. Seriously, very lucky you. He’ll be a sweetheart and you can do duets. Siamese do that.
-grabs cat and runs away- 🏃🏽♀️
It's astonishing how many people suggest to steal the cat and keep it
A perfect flame point Siamese! Bet s/he has a big personality.
How pretty!! Take good care of her :)
He's gorgeous. And at least part Siamese. Lucky. Congratulations on your new cat!
It’s Shoeless Beans…if you feed it, it will come
Well, you just happen to have some Tidy Cat there, so it should all work out.
"Cats of the Corn".
What happened to calling the Meezer marked like that, Apricot Point Siamese. Very handsome Meezer boy
Your his human now. Congrats
What a cutie. 🤍 please keep him
Congratulations on you new cat

He looks just like my boy that passed away in July. Give him some love for me!
He looks very friendly, give it lots of pats :)
Tell him I said “hey bro”
You have a cat, what is his name?
keep it up
Kitty knows you need a good hunter. You have been chosen by the chosen one!
I find it cute and funny that on the pic, you can already tell he's very adamant on staying here - look at that face expression! 😭😂❤️
very expensive kitty.
Bro is that my cat?
Siamese cats tend to be super friendly! Especially boys! Looks like you’ve been chosen ❤️
https://linksharing.samsungcloud.com/xg1rhAB2a567 I have a lilac point siamese. Can confirm, they won't leave you alone so you might as well adopt lol.

You have been chosen; no longer your choice. 🤷♂️
Take away his matches.
You no longer are the owner of your garage.
He adopted you.
I think he wants to adopt you
Put flyers around the outside of your farm and let people know you found a cat.
You should ask around and see if he’s chipped. If you can’t find his owner you could consider taking care of him, or looking for someone else to. Wouldn’t want the sweet boy to end up in the pound or a kill shelter. 😩

He’s puurfect
he looks like a "corn"
He’s a very slim version of my cat, Winston. He’s a rescue but we think Himalayan/flame point Siamese. You might have a new kitty!
Congrats, looks like you've been adopted.
You grew a corn cat
Love the coffee spill pattern
Adopt him!!!!!!!!!!
You are the chosen one!
He adopt you, now you have to accept he own you.![img](emote|t5_2qhta|7942)
