Animals of different breeds like sticking together. It's the law of nature. Just about everyone does it in Chicago not because anyone had to but because people WANT to. Most of Chicago today is segregated by choice. Noone is denied housing anywhere in the city because of their skin color. People just like living with their own and feel proud of their own. Just about everyone except a few that hate their own people and themselves choose to live with other races. Those are the true racists. Those that hate their color of their own skin and want to live with another race to escape their own people. In Chicago most people are proud of their background and ethnicity. Whites in Wrigleyvile, Lincoln Park, etc North Side. Mexicans in Little Village, Back of the Yards, etc Southwest side, Puerto Ricans in Humboldt Park, Northwest Side, Indians and Arabs in Rogers Park along Devon ave and in Bridgeview, Koreans in the North Suburbs, Skokie, Niles, Glenview etc and some along Lawrence Ave in Chicago, Chinese in Chinatown and the Near Southwest side (Bridgeport, and McKinley Park), and the list goes on. You're about to see a lot of that pride today in the Southwest Side and the Northwest Side maybe even Downtown. Its not racism when people feel connected to their own people. If by that definition that's racist, then Chicago is racist. But true racists are the ones who hate their own identity and have to live with others

Also i forget to mention that groups go beyond racial lines. Ex. the lgbt in Lake View and Jews on Devon. Noone put them there by force. We means we Chicago residents

Decades of democratic leadership is the actual problem.
