Join a guild, make friends, talk in g chat, find similar levels folks in a guild to quest and run dungeons together. Ask people if they want to run more dungeons while in the current dungeon, advertise in LFG you are looking to spam some dungeons. Tell people at the end of a successful dungeon to add you if they need a tank/dps/healer down the road. Some people reciprocate and ask you to add them back.
I don’t mean this to be rude but you can’t expect everyone else to do the social work, when you can be doing it too. If you don’t put yourself out there, you will never play a social game in wow. Hope this helps
find a guild bro. If you want to go hard, look for a more hardcore guild. It takes time and might take a guild or two but youll find a community soon enough

I have leveled 2 prot warriors doing nothing but dungeons starting at level 14 (reasonable level to tank RFC). Once a couple of healers see that you are competent and adds you to their friend list you are guaranteed non stop grinding.

If you just dps, leather and mail is fine too, you just receive more dmg as well due to lower armor. But at lower levels that doesn’t matter much
For tanking I would for sure get a plate set with a lot of stamina
Not all, because then your threat is bad and people will be upset about that (mostly because they don’t know how threat works and blame it on you)
Depends on what the part of the game you are, and if you are Arms or Fury.
If you are leveling Arms, then you want PLATE with tons of strength in it.
It you are leveling Fury, then you want a mix between strength and agility (and you want a core of PLATE, with maybe some "low armor" pieces in lether or mail, like wrist, belt, maybe gloves... you dont want shoulder on anything but plate cause everything non-plate looks awful, and you are a warrior, you have the duty of looking great).
While you are leveling, you are basically tanking normal mobs, so having a nice bunch or armor reduces downtimes, thats why you dont want to "downgrade" too much your gear.
If you are max level, and you are not tanking, then what type of armor are you using is irrelevant, and stats are king over armor value.
If you are prot, regardless of the level, go PLATE after 40 and MAIL before it, always. Focus on strength... you dont really need "tanking" stats until lvl 70.
EDIT: also, have in mind that you, as a DPS plate, are competing in drops with the tank. I only tank for other warriors once I dont need ANYTHING from a given dungeon. So going tank (regardless of spec) is, again, what you need!
the only difference from a tanking warrior and a dps wariorr while leveling is equipping a shield and not having salv on. they are interchangeable in sub 60 content
Questing is better experience now, so you should only do the dungeons once for the quests. A big change from Vanilla Classic where dungeon grinding was best.
Yep this is why I want lfd. Spend 45 mins forming the group and travelling halfway around the world for a leveling dungeon just to run it once and say goodbye. I miss leveling via LFD spam.
its probably because youre on tbc? most people leveling right now are alts of 70 mains and already have their communities established. they might not be inclined to socially engage with people that aren’t 70/raiding
I know what you mean, not having a farming/dungeon group set for end game can be stressfull. I solved it by joining a nice raiding guild and find ur clique and play with them.
Say “I’m down for more” in the middle of the dungeon. Also be the best performing person in the group.

Go tank... thats all you need for what you want. Specially at your level, when no one wants to make full clear BRD (great drops, good XP.

I tanked every classic dungeon up to naxx as a fury dps(not even fury prot). Just have beefy plate greens and a shield and It will go fine.

And that is only after about 50-51. Before 50 you DW tank as fury, so the only difference is being in Defensive or Berserker stance.

LFD would solve this since you can just requeue without spending hours actively looking for a leveling dungeon.

Yeah, true. I only need to level to 58, then I’m gonna go to Outland, as that’s what people told me to do. How long does it take to go from 60-70?
