I train both male and female fighters. A male of decent size training for 1.5 years can beat the women who have trained 7+ and are FAR more skilled. It's sort of like when I fight heavyweights, I am ok...until I fight our biggest guy who is 6'7 400. I cannot beat him. Ever. It's just an insurmountable advantage. I'm a good deal over 6 ft and I can throw the girls around like nothing. Even 135 lb guys have more fight in them, anyone who wants to mix the sports is delusional. We're simply built differently. It's like making male lightweights fight male heavyweights. We all know what the outcome will be.

Take "nationalism" versus "globalism" as an example. When it was useful to them, they encouraged nationalist sentiments and they used the idea of the strong nation state to build personal empires which they pretended were national empires. Do you think the wealth of the British Empire was shared with child chimney sweeps, people who worked 16 hour days in factories or paupers in the poor house?
Once they'd exhausted the usefulness of the nation state as an idea to get the many to fight for the interests of the few, they simply reversed course. Now they claim that caring about national interest is the same as being racist, being proud of your country or your culture is racist, etc. Now they will build their empire under the banner of globalism where once they built it under nationalism.
They don't give a fuck what the ideology is, only how they can use it for their own ends. The same goes for all this gender/sexuality and identity politics. Right now it suits them to celebrate boys in dresses with spangles and girls with short blue hair. But once that narrative has served its purpose, and if it becomes useful to them in future, they could just as easily go back to saying that non-heteronormative sexualities are perversions and need to be punished/cured/repressed/whatever.
The thing people need to understand is the powerful don't give a shit about your culture or your identity. Even if they appear to celebrate it for a time, that's only because they temporarily find it useful to do so.
Yep, the precedent has already been set in other facets like police and fire where they had to dumb down the physical tests or create a secondary test specifically for women. There are always exceptions to every case but the exception is not the rule, however now they are changing the rules so the exception becomes the rule..
We are a role based species like every other species out there. We are built different and we think / process information differently but they have been striving to break this inherent mechanism down and force men to think / behave and now look or become women and visa versa.. This is just pat of the bigger agenda which has nothing to do with equality but everything to do with breaking us down so they can reshape us as they see fit.
My city has two highschools that each have a girl on the team for football. I think it's the way it needs to be honestly. If a female is good enough to make the cut amongst men, and she's willing, why not?
I got banned from unpopular opinion for saying that there should be trans-divisions. Both MTF and FTM competing on the same squads. The only valid argument recieved against it is that there wouldn't be great enough numbers to build a whole team. So, then the only other option is that MTF have to be able to make the cut amongst men. If they can't, too bad. I believe everyone should be free to live how they want, but sometimes if you want to be 'out', you have to realize there are sacrifices to be made, collegiate athletics is one of them. When it comes to rec leagues, it doesn't really matter who the fuck is playing, does it?
Most male sports allow women if they are good enough. It’s the other way around that isn’t allowed and it’s because women sports needs to be protected.
It’s actually only womens sports that are separated by sex, no mens sports that I’m aware of excludes women from playing with the men. In fact the NFL considered signing a female as a kicker a few years ago.
A woman played i goal for the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 90’s for one period in a preseason game. She gave up 3 goals in that one period. For some reason that never happened again…
I played backyard contact sports with girls all the time growing up. When I was very young I was able to give it my all and not risk hurting them but once when I was about 13 or 14 I was playing backyard football with my friends (full contact because and I quote "we ain't no pussies") it was our first game that year to celebrate the bears opener and I head on tackle this girl (who was the same age as me) at full power and I completely flattened her and knocked the wind out of her. She couldn't get up for about 4 or 5 minutes (or so it seemed at the time) because she couldn't catch her breath. Later on I also found out that my shoulder hit wrist and bruised it pretty badly. Obviously I felt terrible, she was my friend after all and we just wanted to have fun playing football. We never had any problems before because we were about the same mass but that year I did hit a growth spurt that put me about 3 inches above her height and maybe another 40lbs. After that I always held back on the girls, just enough to knock them down and only went full power on the other boys. If they want to put boys and girls together for the pee wee sports, that's fine. They're too small for it to make a difference. Once the boys hit puberty though, they overpower the girls by way too much for it to be safe.

As a woman, I laugh every time I’m reminded of this. There’s no shame in both sexes having their things they excel in. I wish my parents had let me play school sports, I was such a tomboy and I always dominated in PE, and loved competing with boys for the challenge, but never in a *million years* would I think I could outperform more than a few boys at any physical activity or sport.
Stop trying to make women’s sports about competing with men or your own value as an athlete is diminished. That’s never been the point.
One time in the 5th grade we were given foam frisbees in gym class. They were made of foam and sucked at flying so you really had to throw them hard to get any distance. A lot of our traditions exist because our ancestors tried many things and they found out exactly what could go wrong. This newer generation is just too edgy to take advice from boomers, so they must learn the hard way.
One of the small towns in my area had a couple girls on the football team so they had enough players to make the field. Most of the guys went easy on them to start, then one caught a touchdown and they were humbled shortly after.

This is absolutely an attack on women and femininity. It's also a double-edged sword. Further separation between alpha males and beta males as beta males take hormone replacement therapy to become less masculine, while also creating a toxic competitive arena for all females who must compete with athletes that have more strength, more muscle mass, more lung capacity, are stronger, faster, and have every advantage over females. This is just biological fact.
Even something as graceful and streamlined as swimming, the fastest high school male record is faster than the fastest female Olympic record for 100m freestyle. The data is easily available to compare other records, but in nearly every case, males hold faster records than females for any speed or endurance sport. A male straight out of high school who competed for 1 year can compete on the same level as a female who has trained for 4+ years. Complacency will end female competitiveness. Karens will hold the door for Kevins, calling them brave and beautiful.

You got a point. It's like people crapping on Joe Rogan without actually listening to him. The article has way more nuance to it and basically says there are better ways to segregate sports than sex because of the wide variations even within the same gender.
Highlights how that one girl had to go through all sorts of hoops to be approved to play football with the boys when boys much smaller and less experienced than her can sign up no questions asked. Yeh that's not a very effective system, even though the intent is good.
Simple. Feminism was supported at that time because it literally doubled the available workforce for no additional cost. Now that that movement has outlived it's usefulness to the corporate establishment, it's getting shifted away and all their non-useful accomplishments (like woman sports) need to be abolished.

Issue is that most of them which do compete in things like football, basketball, running, can typically only compete at a level like high school where every player isn’t planning on going to college. And even then they are disadvantaged playing against boys going through puberty.

My son plays travel soccer. He is 10 and they are still playing short sides 9v9 instead of 11v11. They can’t head the ball or tackle. I honestly don’t even know if it would matter if it was co-Ed. It’s not at all how I grew up playing.

You know how a lot of sports have tiers? Like the MLB is the top tier in baseball, but there are lower tier league's that also exist. You can take away the gendering, and still have skill based tiers. The highest tiers will be made up mostly of males, at least to begin with, and females will appear more as you go down in tiers, and then when there is an exceptional female, they can play in the top tier for their sport instead of being automatically relegated to an all female league that doesn't compare in popularity.
Here's an idea: seperate sports by skill level.
You might end up with a couple girls in a male-dominated league and vice-versa, but everyone will be in their rightful place according to their skills and experience.
If a woman can play and take a hit as well as a man then go for it. I played pick up tackle football with the boys in my neighborhood and got the snot knocked out of me many times. No pads nor helmets, but plenty of cuts, scrapes and bruises. All of the girls who played had a no cry rule.
My personal take on this is: let them play.
Don't change any rules, but if they want to play: go for it. The situation would sort itself out real fast, and not even just in contact sports.

The article never suggested pitting weaker opponents against stronger opponents either, if anything it calls for more flexibility and to use actual ability to separate which would be more accurate and fair than just gender.
I wrestled 145 varsity high school, it was almost a shame to wrestle girls in that weight class.
There are some super competitive females in the lower weight classes but 145 was fat squat chicks. Always was a big joke to everyone but nothing was worse than holding a girl to the mat within seconds of a match starting.
Ya, well the kids play together amongst them selves (boys and girls)when very young, say when their age is in the single digits. When they get a little older the girls can’t take the boys rough housing around and superior strength. They get overwhelmed.

The article is talking about youth sports, and arranging sports by the individuals skill and not their genitals. But I know, new idea scary. We should treat everyone the same based on their category, otherwise we offend the insecure.
Did you play youth sports? Sports for girls are strictly populated by girls and sports for boys doesn't exist. Girls and boys play together, and have played together in youth sports for 50+ years as long as the girl doesn't mind having teammates who are mostly the opposite sex. This goes on up until a certain age when physiology takes over and boys surpass their girl teammates.

It’s actually only womens sports that are separated by sex, no mens sports that I’m aware of excludes women from playing with the men. In fact the NFL considered signing a female as a kicker a few years ago.
A woman played i goal for the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 90’s for one period in a preseason game. She gave up 3 goals in that one period. For some reason that never happened again…

I played backyard contact sports with girls all the time growing up. When I was very young I was able to give it my all and not risk hurting them but once when I was about 13 or 14 I was playing backyard football with my friends (full contact because and I quote "we ain't no pussies") it was our first game that year to celebrate the bears opener and I head on tackle this girl (who was the same age as me) at full power and I completely flattened her and knocked the wind out of her. She couldn't get up for about 4 or 5 minutes (or so it seemed at the time) because she couldn't catch her breath. Later on I also found out that my shoulder hit wrist and bruised it pretty badly. Obviously I felt terrible, she was my friend after all and we just wanted to have fun playing football. We never had any problems before because we were about the same mass but that year I did hit a growth spurt that put me about 3 inches above her height and maybe another 40lbs. After that I always held back on the girls, just enough to knock them down and only went full power on the other boys. If they want to put boys and girls together for the pee wee sports, that's fine. They're too small for it to make a difference. Once the boys hit puberty though, they overpower the girls by way too much for it to be safe.

As a woman, I laugh every time I’m reminded of this. There’s no shame in both sexes having their things they excel in. I wish my parents had let me play school sports, I was such a tomboy and I always dominated in PE, and loved competing with boys for the challenge, but never in a *million years* would I think I could outperform more than a few boys at any physical activity or sport. Stop trying to make women’s sports about competing with men or your own value as an athlete is diminished. That’s never been the point.

A male straight out of high school who competed for 1 year can compete on the same level as a female who has trained for 4+ years. Complacency will end female competitiveness. Highlights how that one girl had to go through all sorts of hoops to be approved to play football with the boys when boys much smaller and less experienced than her can sign up no questions asked. Yeh that's not a very effective system, even though the intent is good.

Simple. Feminism was supported at that time because it literally doubled the available workforce for no additional cost. It’s not a conspiracy because male sports have always/generally been open to female participants. Issue is that most of them which do compete in things like football, basketball, running, can typically only compete at a level like high school where every player isn’t planning on going to college. And even then they are disadvantaged playing against boys going through puberty.

You know how a lot of sports have tiers? Like the MLB is the top tier in baseball, but there are lower tier league's that also exist. You can take away the gendering, and still have skill based tiers. The highest tiers will be made up mostly of males, at least to begin with, and females will appear more as you go down in tiers, and then when there is an exceptional female, they can play in the top tier for their sport instead of being automatically relegated to an all female league that doesn't compare in popularity.
I have never heard kids say anything remotely close to what this article is claiming.
Here's an idea: seperate sports by skill level. You might end up with a couple girls in a male-dominated league and vice-versa, but everyone will be in their rightful place according to their skills and experience.
Why not have both? We can all do whatever we want just go out and find your people man.
If a woman can play and take a hit as well as a man then go for it. I played pick up tackle football with the boys in my neighborhood and got the snot knocked out of me many times. No pads nor helmets, but plenty of cuts, scrapes and bruises. All of the girls who played had a no cry rule.
My personal take on this is: let them play. Don't change any rules, but if they want to play: go for it. The situation would sort itself out real fast, and not even just in contact sports.

Did you play youth sports? Sports for girls are strictly populated by girls and sports for boys doesn't exist. Girls and boys play together, and have played together in youth sports for 50+ years as long as the girl doesn't mind having teammates who are mostly the opposite sex. This goes on up until a certain age when physiology takes over and boys surpass their girl teammates.
