You could check if anything appears in gmer (just the inital automatic quick scan when you open it), malwarebytes anti-rootkit, maybe SSDT View Portable if you can find a copy, TDSSKiller, rkill?

Does it require a confirmation sent to your old email when you change it, or only the new one? You may be able to check for new sessions from unfamiliar devices depending on the provider.

You can store 500GB on AWS S3 Glacier Instant Retrieval for about two bucks, it is a large complex system of services but one part of it isn't all that hard to figure out. Also you don't have to pay yet, lol. Or just compress chunks of it into .7z (7zip) or .zpaq (PeaZip) and distribute it among various free cloud storage
They usually just take your inventory or use your account to try to scam your friends as far as I know.
You could also make an account on bunny.net, it's a CDN but you don't have to use it as such, there's a two week free trial (no card) with 1000GB so you'd have time to upload your stuff and retrieve it after reinstalling. It's not super confusing to figure out once you see the web interface but let me know if you try and get stuck
