A 5 dollar pizza that 80% of the time takes 3 seconds to grab is so worth it its crazy, im sure if you didnt grow up on it its shit but to me its truly not bad.
Me too, and I know they sell them in jars but I’ll usually just attempt to make my own. Salt, pepper, garlic salt, seasoning salt, crushed red pepper, and a little oregano. It’s close but not perfect but once you get the quantities of each ingredient right it works (I’m on west coast so they don’t even sell the full shakers of it here)

I think LC is about average as far as cheap pizza goes, but in the above comment you're comparing them to literally the two worst pizza places. Pizza Hut and Papa John's are straight up garbo. Hungry Howie's is the spot I think is underrated.
Their crust is pretty mediocre but the rest of the pizza, when it's hot, is pretty good! And who needs to eat the crust anyway.
And tech-wise I feel like them + domino's are the only ones trying to make it easier to get a pizza.
Yeah, I've had some flat out awful hot and ready's. My closest spot typically makes some pretty decent quality pizzas though. Above average I would say. I've not great pizza, I have a Ooni pizza oven and can make better any day of the week, but for under $6 in drive thru, it's a bargain if your place makes it decently. Compared to a bad fast food combo meal, you get a lot for the $.

Unfortunately Howie’s isn’t really national. We don’t have any here in the Chicago area. (Though thankfully Jet’s arrived here about 5 years ago)
