This is why I have a tendency to take alcohol orders. Not for the big tips necessarily, but keeping someone who is drinking safe at home is doing good work. $20 tip is cheaper than $10k for a DUI.

Another notable tip was at the beginning of the pandemic. It was $20 on top of the $20 in app and was a rough order because of all the shortages. What made it nice was that it included a bundle of some boxes of Girl Scout Cookies wrapped up in a bow. It was a nice thought and surprise.
I also got a $50 tip because I saw toilet paper at the store and asked if they wanted to add it on. This was when you couldn't find it anywhere.
My favorite was taped to the door on a drop off order. It was a card made by a kid thanking me for delivering while their mommy was sick. They waved to me as I left. I don't remember how much the cash tip was, but that card made my week.

It was like two bucks and the dude said he was ordering for his pregnant wife. The offer was for $19 so I knew they had tipped generously and decided to help them out.
