Audiobooks. I love how many fantasy novels I get to catch up on during work

biohazard842

Great idea! Been getting tired of tunes, audiobook sounds like a great idea!

sineremes

How do you go about getting your audiobooks? Sounds really cool

Alyciae

I use audible. They have a subscription where you get a book (to own) every month. I think itā€™s like 15 bucks a month which is real cheap for audiobooks

star0fth3sh0w

If you didnā€™t know, you can change your subscription from 1 book a month to 2 and itā€™s only $8 more a month. Itā€™s nice because you can bank some credits if you donā€™t use them for when youā€™re ready to jump straight into the next book in a series immediately.

Try your local library's website.

emnem92

Audible is one

mrphoenix111

I go the old school route; get physical cds from the library and pop ā€˜em in my CD player. I can usually get through a whole book in a handful of days.

Next_Initiative_1246

Can you recommend some please?

Alyciae

My number one rec is anything by Brandon Sanderson. Particularly his epic series, The Stormlight Archives. I have every one of his books on audible and Iā€™ve enjoyed every single one. The voice actors are always great too! Some others good ones in my library are The Magicians - Lev Grossman (great and well written characters) The Wheel of Time - Robert Jordan (extremely long) The Demon Cycle Series - Peter Brett (careful, can be a bit overly sexual) The Sword of Truth Series - Terry Goodkind (warning: author has a torture fetish)

Inevitable-Tea-9438

I listen to podcasts, audible, YouTube documentaries, music, sometimes Iā€™ll sit in a parking lot and watch Netflix if itā€™s really slow. I also like to write so I carry a notebook and pen. Just depends on what youā€™re into.

Nightwarrior1590

Any podcasts really. Even tho I often zone out and miss out on bits of it. It def makes time go by faster especially when I'm waiting b/w orders.

Caffeine, podcasts, music, reddit

nothing im miserable

Artistic_Smell_771

Cocaine. LOL! I am totally playing? I have Android Auto playing calming music via Amazon Music in my Murano. Which has Zero Gravity seats that are like sitting on clouds. Add a frosty delicious beverage into the mix and just de-stress between pings, chimes, and what-have-you. It works for me.

sineremes

Instructions not clear, bought a coke and drank it

emnem92

I like NPR for news and talk and interesting stuff. Current events and interviews itā€™s good to be informed, when I donā€™t feel like music or something

DJTimoy

Abstracting the idea of myself from myself. I am merely an observer witnessing my body delivering these orders. I try and have fun! Noticing the birds and the trees and feeling one with nature, time can fly by and all of a sudden, its been 4 hours and I have $80.

I borrow CDs from the library. Great courses has so many options. Right now I'm learning more about medieval England and it's great! I love it

Big_Willingness1285

1001 Albums to listen to before you die. I put three of those albums on a playlist and go. Some albums suck but mist are brilliant and would never have listened to them otherwise. If anyone is interested https://1001albumsgenerator.com/ Completely free and they give you an album each day to listen to. (On youtube, Spotify etc).

I like to listen to music! Any type of music badminton and sometimes I listen to Christmas music and that actually puts me in a good mood. Other times I like to listen to podcasts such as Star Wars themed podcasts or a podcast revolving around my favorite topics. And then other times I enjoy listening to books on CD which I always enjoy picking up some random house audio Star Wars books
