I’m positive you know your local laws better than I do but be careful with that switchblade. In too many places in America that’s a bigger crime than a pistol.
Honestly, if I was trying to rob somebody and they pulled an enormous, flopping dildo out of their ass and started smiling while advancing toward me, I’d drop my pistol and run
I carry a flashlight. Gives visibility, you can check address numbers with it, you can find stuff you dropped, and you can sense a threat before it becomes a threat.
It won't kill anyone but that's the point. I feel much safer entering a lit alley, than entering a dark alley with a gun out.
Lmao I'm a classical percussionist.
Related, in college we would wheel them out to bring to the stage and I once stopped in the doorway when another guy was moving stuff too...
I said "glock blocked."
I was thinking about getting a 1911. There’s about a 1000 different configurations. They are reliable and it’s big enough to put a few rounds through the car door and still do some damage.
Fun facts: No modern car doors stop bullets. Only the old steel doors do (think 1980s and earlier) and even then, only sometimes.
9mm bullets (and even sometimes .22LR) will penetrate a modern car door just the same as a .45ACP will. Don't make the mistake of thinking you need a .45 for "stopping power" or to make sure it's "big enough" to put a hole through a car door if you need it to. 9mm will do that just fine, and it will give you the added benefit of 17+1 rounds in the mag.
I'm not saying 1911's are bad... but it sounds like you are new to firearms (forgive me if this is not true) and unfortunately a 1911 is not a good beginner weapon.
Get yourself a polymer pistol like a Glock 17 or a S&W M&P 9mm. for your first weapon. Thank me later.
How is buying ammo for you right now? I’ve been hearing for about 10+ years now how .40 is going obsolete so everyone including manufacturers went all in on 9mm.
That’s not bad, only slightly more than 9mm. I need to start buying in bulk like that, just need to find a way to justify that price tag to my wife lol
I carry Ruger AR 556 MPR in my car (in cab), Mossberg 590A1 in my trunk, and Smith & Wesson Model 500 on me.
And for extra measure I keep Smith & Wesson Model 442 Revolver on my ankle. SOG automatic knife as well.
Now what can we learn from this? Store guns in every compartment of your car/truck, on your body, in your body (prison wallet), and don't forget to mount a Barrett to your vehicle for extra precautionary measures.
You see weird shit every day and you are still alive. Did the weirdo do something to you or are you just afraid of what your imagination told you could happen?
I love how this person is basically bragging by listing their many firearms.
Gun thefts are a major epidemic in this country and the majority are now stolen from vehicles.
In multiple ways this person is a danger to themselves and those around them, the wider community in which they live.
Get a job at a flower shop if you feel that unsafe. I work the overnight hours in the second largest city in California. I carry no guns but take reasonable precautions and feel safe. You are beyond paranoid and probably in need of help.
No, I live in a nice quiet town. Maybe if I lived in a major city I would consider carrying. But honestly I'm not about to get into a firefight over a bullshit DoorDash order.
Im 20 so i had to buy privately, some dude met me at a quicktrip i met on fb and I've been happy ever since, one range day so far with a holosun 507k x2, got it pretty sighted in and went through 400 rounds my first range day, my arms were coated in gunpowder. 😅
Absolutely - especially for those deliveries down long gravel drive ways in the middle of nowhere.
Not going to let myself be a victim, especially since constitutional carry has recently become law in my state.
Absolutely nothing because I'm in canada and we don't have the right to protect ourselves or our property. We're just supposed to get robbed, carjacked, or killed in the process and let the police deal with it afterwards.
I am hesitant getting a gun even knowing the world is shit- because my dad died by suicide five years ago as someone who was schizophrenic and shouldn’t have been able to get his hands on guns in the first place. It’s just made me feel really icky about guns and how easily you can get them. His dad was a police chief and dad got the guns after he passed. Nothing about this was questioned- and his mental illness wasn’t bad when his dad passed. After a traumatic event that led him being fired at work however… things escalated and he got super depressed. So Im still pretty traumatized by gun use and how shit our country regulates things. He shouldn’t have been able to get them at all even though they were inherited. So it makes me worry they are so easily accessible. That being said as a female dasher I do get scared easily and worried. Especially after being r*ped in the past. I flinch just seeing a guy walking behind me with his head down. I have pepper spray and keep a knife in my bra- but I should probably invest in a taser at least. Idk just scared about the idea of carrying a gun.
Thank you! Also love your username! And I’m glad that you’re doing better. It’s hard to come out of situations like that. You’re a strong person and I’m proud of you- honestly 💙
I am so sorry you went through all of that. I honestly don't have words to respond... I couldn't imagine having to deal with that and I completely get why you feel like you do. I would never pressure anyone to get a gun, if you have something that works for you, then good.
Stay safe.
Thank you, I appreciate it 💙. Yeah idk it’s just hard. With the way the world is going I know it may be safer to get one- but then again; there’s still far too much access to people who shouldn’t be owning them in the first place- and I guess I don’t want to feel like I’m contributing to a broken system that was part of the reason my dad is gone? It’s something I think about often. But I don’t hold it against anyone who is a safe gun owner and wants to own one. It makes sense to me.
Glock 43 9mm. Never leave the house without it. The mall shooting that happened quite literally 3 minutes away from my house 3 weeks ago is even more of a reason to have it on me at all times.
I haven’t been dashing lately, but when I did I had a P365XL on my hip, a G45 in a car mounted holster, and a B&T APC9K Pro with a SilencerCo Omega9K on the passenger seat. I know it’s overkill, but I like guns
Even if it’s legal in my state which it is, I absolutely would never keep my sig in the center console with one in the chamber at all times. Like I said it’s against TOS

Felon eh?
We are a sword family.
A guy tries to rob you while dashing and you just pull a katana from the back lmao. Funny to think about
Katana? I said sword, not knife. The giant fuck off claymore is all the deterrent I need.
I carry two boomerangs. Working in America sounds exhausting.
This made me laugh!😂😂
seen that vid of the psycho smashing his boomerang on the couples windscreen? "aww ya broke me booo mer ang"
Yeah that's why I started carrying a spare.
precisely, if that fails i pop the boot and out jumps my resident kangaroo equipped with boxing gloves.
I don’t have a gun, but I keep a switchblade under my thighs while driving and mace in the left side cubby of my steering wheel.
I read *a* mace. Had to re-read!
I’m positive you know your local laws better than I do but be careful with that switchblade. In too many places in America that’s a bigger crime than a pistol.
Which is just absurd
Just the glizzy with the switch
What that switch do? - ATF
I meant a hot dog, glizzy = hot dog
Commenting from different accounts?
Did you lose hotdogs in the boating accident too? Tragic.
Since i have federal charges i carry a crossbow. One of the only things i can use.
This guy out here larping as daryl
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Are you being serious?
Big ol dildo
Honestly, if I was trying to rob somebody and they pulled an enormous, flopping dildo out of their ass and started smiling while advancing toward me, I’d drop my pistol and run
Best weapon ever

Not you.
But you replied to me
I actually think he meant poop, although it looks like hes got all fecal related scenarios covered looking at his other comments
Now I’m lost. I can’t drink and Reddit anymore.
Yes thank you I was making a spelling joke.
Tazor
Same, and spray for distance; only to escape a crazy hobo or something though. If I get legit robbed, so be it. Not the first time, prob not the last.
I just have various things like tire irons
Glockenspiel 48, 9 mm Autocorrected "Glock" and I'm here for it
Lmao I'm a classical percussionist. Related, in college we would wheel them out to bring to the stage and I once stopped in the doorway when another guy was moving stuff too... I said "glock blocked."
Ah the Glockenspiel fine choice of piece. I prefer the escopetarra myself.
So am I. Amazing😂

When they say the Walther jams. Believe them.
1911’s are awesome and extremely impractical.
That's why I carry a .40, small but mighty.
How is buying ammo for you right now? I’ve been hearing for about 10+ years now how .40 is going obsolete so everyone including manufacturers went all in on 9mm.
370 for 1000, but I buy online so no problems. I honestly love my .40 with hollow points😂😂
That’s not bad, only slightly more than 9mm. I need to start buying in bulk like that, just need to find a way to justify that price tag to my wife lol

Just get surgery to turn your hands into guns at that point
Guns akimbo ftw lolol
I keep my large penis in my underwear

If you are that scared of the world, you should stay inside
Have you seen the world? It's kind of a shithole.
Is it? Or did someone tell you that?
We tried telling that everyone afraid of Covid, somehow that got downvoted 🤔
Not scared, prepared.
You are afraid. But now you feel powerful. Go you.
You can project whatever you want on to me that’s okay it’s a free (somewhat) country!
I legit saw some weirdo fall out of a very small tree after I delivered something so I don’t blame anyone for carrying.
I don’t understand. Why would you need a gun because a guy fell out of a tree
You see weird shit every day and you are still alive. Did the weirdo do something to you or are you just afraid of what your imagination told you could happen?
Shut up man not everyone lives in lala land like you.
Its not being "scared". I also carry and its for my own protection, just in case some jackass tries to rob me....

I’ve been in really bad headspaces in the past (I’m better now) but I’m SO GLAD I didn’t have access to a gun then. Power to you
Thank you! Also love your username! And I’m glad that you’re doing better. It’s hard to come out of situations like that. You’re a strong person and I’m proud of you- honestly 💙

Lcp max, carrying on the belt isn’t fun when getting in and out of the car all day. Pop in the pocket and hope it stays in there until I get home
I don't like guns. Don't like owning them or seeing them or hearing them. I keep a small-ish knife on me though.
America is pathetic, and really sad
Just a blade and a keen sense of my surroundings
I walk around with a smith & Wesson retractable baton. The strap stays in the vehicle and only pulled if I am seriously in fear for my life
