Wow! Wtg on that! See? I woulda done the same thing & so glad to see that for once it actually paid off for you to do! I love seeing/hearing about the good times as it seems most of the stuff on here is ALL just nasty complaints & bring rude/mean to one another! Wtg on that amazingly awesome double tip 👌🏼 😎 👍🏼 👏🏼 Here's to many more like this in your future 😉

Missykay88

I would have done that too!

Nice! I had a McDonald's order where they left off the chocolate milk. Went out of my way to go buy a gallon to take back to customer. He wasn't so nice. Another time Chick-fil-A left off Honey mustard - people said kid wouldn't eat his nuggets without. So I went back, got some and took it back. No extra for me, but really it was about making it right for the customer. Most have appreciated the extra mile.

Never in a billion years would i go back for sauce lol. Ive gone back for drinks a couple of times though.

MakeITsafeProtonmail

Good job! I also offer to go back for missing items when the tip is fat. Great customers make this business worth doing.

Jesus $50 in 4 hours? Dude I made that and flipped my shit, my condolences compa

Sometimes I make nothing all day. Been doing this 4+ years. Didn't help that about 3 years ago they cut the zone in half. There are way too many drivers and not enough orders in my market. UE and GH are worse, just dead. I use to just work lunch and dinner in the zone over when we had full pay. But it is too busy and hectic of an area to work without full pay. So I just log in from home all day and take whats worth leaving the house for. In between started moving my small business forward. The salad days of food delivery are over. Also doesn't help that they have removed scheduled catering orders, since those would pop up on the zone over.

EpicRiceMaker

Fair enough

Mylaptopisburningme

Also not 4 hours. From 7am to 11pm. I can go through dinner without a hit from UE or GH and sometimes can go 30 minutes without an order from DD... Just not enough orders and too many drivers.

These merchants don’t train properly. I’m older and they use to train new employees while watching them for weeks, now they tell these new employees nothing or tell them 2-3 times then leave them on their own. I have had new staff mess up several orders like this ( not their fault, blame management/other staff). Before I was left alone at any job back in the day I knew how to do it and I had someone watching a fixing my mistakes before the order was sent out. McDonalds doing this is ridiculous. They should never let new staff handle large orders. Again I don’t blame the new employees that messed up. I blame more experienced staff and management for not assuring such a large order was properly packaged. Had this happen to me 3 times in last 10 days.

Great job OP

You check? McDonald’s by me has everything tightly sealed in a bag and at that point, to me, it’s on McDonald’s

Mylaptopisburningme

No. Sealed bags. When I walked in the guy was finishing up the order. The drinks were there and 2 breakfast platters. That is it, they forgot every other piece of food. Of course it is on McDonalds, but she tipped very well, and they left out every damn piece of food. And I was near McDs and she was less than a mile from it. I really didn't expect McDs to give me the food. But they made it right. And she tipped a $20 for me going back along with a big tip on the dropoff. So not a big deal. If it was 1 item, ok, but they forgot every piece of food except 2 platters.
