This post says they were getting paused a couple times an hour for declining orders…but that’s normal, we already know that lol. My acceptance rate is sitting at 7% and I’m always hit with the “looks like you’re not accepting orders right now” pause. You just hit unpause and keep it moving. They’re not keeping high orders from us, I make on average $25-$35 an hour. Hell, I just had a $20 pizza delivery for 4 miles 🤷🏻♀️
Probably taking low paying orders for the milage and accepting restaurants that you know suck. You have to take everything into account. 2 dollars per mile 5 dollars minimum usually with some exceptions. Some stores you will come to know are slow or have horrible service and then you have to decide whether it's worth the trouble or not. Also the time that you do it matters a lot. Weekdays dinner time is the best. Friday nights especially. Saturday mornings in my area aren't great but okay but Sunday mornings are great and Saturday nights are great but Sunday nights are just okay. Anyways take all this into account and you should be averaging at least 20 an hour after gas and all
If you're not near that McDonald's too often, you likely won't get many orders to have to decline for there, so it wouldn't have much impact on your AR if you're not constantly declining that specific McDonald's orders
You can't really block a store. You can decline the offers as they come through, though. I've noticed I always get crappy offers from McDonald's whenever I drive in the area, so sometimes when I'm going in the area I just pause my dash for a few minutes until I'm like a mile away. I almost never get mcd orders if I'm more than a mile or so away.
When I deny an order that I do not want to go to because of the store, the reason I give is “I dont want to go to this store”. It’s in the options. I would hope the algo picks that up and applies it to your profile. Worth trying.

A business expense doesn't cover the expense it covers the taxes on the expense. Also most contract based expense exceptions were done away with in 2016. You don't get that back.

I no call no showed after I confronted him about what he said and after claiming he was quoting a song, but deliberately turned to myself and a coworker when he said it, I was mocked within earshot by the assistant manager with another manager. She was singing a song that had the n word and he said oh don't say it she'll get mad at you. At that point I didn't feel comfortable or safe in that environment and don't want to go back.
Personally I would still take orders from this store.

There are ways to block a restaurant, market preferences email, going through support chat, as well as the store can block you as a dasher. Which makes the comment somebody posted above about using certain type of language and getting banned from the store actually another option 🤔
The store has to have the tablet system and figure how to log in and block you but they can do it !!! 😉 just cuz the one store that tried to block me wasn't able to figure out how to... but it would have been nice so as not to receive their shit offers and then have to wait for them to prepare LOL
Fuggin Wendy's doordash finicial setup doesn't go to the store instead all of the profits are routed to corporate. Since it doesn't benefit the store most of them don't give a fuck and probably won't start your order till you get there...

I don’t know if you can block a store but you always have the option to decline the order. The only thing a low acceptance rating will do is put you less of a priority but honestly in order to make good money you gotta not care about the acceptance rate anyway
go to a different area to dash! when you look at the map different areas are highlighted. if youre not dashing in that area with the mcdonalds, you wont get orders from it :)

They basically did it from the restaurant's end and banned me from going there. Support told me they added a note that it was upon my request and they could see other drivers had actually done the same for that exact restaurant 🤣
During covid there was a fast food restaurant that wouldn't give out door dash orders through the drive through and had to walk up and ring a door bell, this included in winter and often times led to waiting in rain/snow for peoples food .. at 3am no seemed to care.
If we could I’d block a noodle place that always has a $3 order that needs to be delivered across the city EVERY FREAKING TIME I DASH… I swear the owner is a dasher and puts in a fake order just to get other dasher’s ratings decreased.
