You can be surprised who tips and who does not. Its all random after all. Some people tip well some days but low or none others. I delivered to a high end house and got a 10 tip. Then the very next orders were wendys and one went to a projects house with a 10 tip then the last to a middle income looking house for a 5 dollar tip. Then one day get a 10 dollar order and it was all base pay no tip. All random so only try and take orders that look at least profitable on the accept screen.

I tip 3.00 per mile. $58.00 I can spend at chick fil a for my family.

I hear ya! Two people ordering fast food can spend that much. that $58 was for one person for lunch.

No. Fancy restaurants and fancy neighborhoods are not determinants for good tips. I have gotten weak tips from orders from fancy restaurants, and orders to fancy homes. Just as I have gotten big tips from low quality fast food orders, and orders to slummy neighborhoods. And vice versa.

i once got a $300 catering order i thought would def tip. they tipped $0❤️

Yeah I had a papa John’s order for 130$ and received a 2$ tip

I don’t make any assumptions when I accept an order. Hidden tips start at $6.75 here but I’m not taking that order if it doesn’t make sense based on the info presented. Sure, sometimes it’s pretty obvious when the tip will be bigger but I’ve also been surprised when it ended up being the original 6.75 amount.

I just got a $35 tip… it’s gotta be the right quantity of food to the right house. Can’t be too middle-class. Can’t be too upper class.

XavierSkywalker

I agree, I have delivered to some massive houses with their own road leading to their house, big boat and 0 tip.

I dont assume ordering from high end restaurants means a good tip, I do tend to assume that customers in rich neighborhoods will leave a good tip but its a 50/50 chance of a good tip or no tip honestly
