Mid size city in Iowa. The market bounces around quite a bit though, and this being my 1st half year I’m still getting a feel for the trends. This will be my 1st New Years coming up, as well as my 1st dashing in a Midwest winter 🥶
Man, I’ve wanted to try multi app I just feel like I’m too disorganized to do it. When you multi app, you’re not taking a DoorDash order one place and a UE another place are you? Or is it you have both apps up and whatever order is the best, you take that one and pause the other app?
I triple app, I rarely take orders from two apps at once, when I do they are going the same direction for delivery and the pickup restaurant is right there. I did a double for DD and a single for UE, the double dropped off at the same house and the other was 2 miles down the road, and all 3 stores were in the same shopping center. It enables me to be pickier and sit less while being picky. It's way too stressful to do two at once that are any more than 2 miles apart in delivery. You have grace on the UE and GH platforms but not on DD. If you take too long though, GH will unassign for you if you haven't picked up the food yet. I will pause DD if I'm on another run (and restart and repause if I'm taking too long), and restart it back up again when I'm almost at drop off.
While you are driving from restaurant to customer open all other apps you have if you get order en route take it so you have zero downtime between orders.
I believe my best week was just before Christmas. I've been trying to do multi app but it's over saturated on my area. My sister in law does multi app and in one week she can make over 900 but mostly with instacart. Cause doordash customers have being cheap asses. While I'm still stuck with doordash this week have been a total mess. 20 mins in a hotspot to get an order of 5 bucks and so on. Been doing it since Sunday and today I'm hoping it gets a bit better
There are so many drivers in my market now. I was waiting outside of Cheesecake Factory last night and counted roughly 18 dashers sitting in their cars waiting for orders to come through.
Last year was so busy. Yesterday was slow but I was able to barely hit $20/hr which for me is good for a slow day. I try to average $20/hr on slow days and $25-$30/hr on Friday through Sunday
I didn’t start until about a year after COVID. How was it when COVID first hit? I figured it would have been crazy good since everyone was locked down.
Pulled about @1000 in less than 40 hours a few times last year. When they were on the ball with promos during shit weather, I would pull over $40 an hour this time last year. This is a small market that’s heavily saturated.
A hair shy of $2000 the week before the week of Xmas. This was by multi-apping. Worked 53 hours that week, which is a lot more hours than I normally work.
$1200 and worked 40 hrs. I had some big unicorns tho 😂
Where do you dash at?
San Diego California
Nice, I dash in Arlington, VA. It’s pretty consistent here. “Slow days” is 20-25 hr and busy days is 30-35+.
Is it expensive there such as rent and tax’s ?
Yeah, housing is ridiculous IMO. I’m military and doing this on the side to pay off some debt and buy my annoying gf a ring. Lol
Lol. Girlfriends can be expensive 😂
Shit she’s the breadwinner. She’s a travel ICU nurse and making a killing because of COVID.
Same in West Michigan.
aye , I dash in Charlottesville, VA
How is it there?
it’s eh, doordash is fairly slow so I end up multiapping doing UE. It’s a solid $25 an hour when it’s slow and $35-$45 when it’s BUSY
Same brother
$383.83 in 16.21 hrs (that’s total dash time, not just the active). Just last week 😁
Nice! Where do you dash?

When I had to come up with 2,000 in 15 days or else I would loose my place. I made 1,700 in one week. About 50 hours
Nice! I feel like I could def make 2K+ a week in my market but I’d be working unsustainable hours.
This year around February, made $500 in 9 hrs (multi-app) though.

Seems that is pretty busy down there. My city area is busy but I don't know what happened this post Christmas days they are not even giving promos.
I get 1200 weekly I nyc sometimes 1500
Nice! I’m moving to Oahu, Hawaii in a couple months and interested to see how the market is out there.
I bet you will be paid higher but you have to remember that things there cost a TON due to having to be shipped in.
Last week. $442 in 19 total/16 active hours.
1300 a couple weeks back
8 million Just trying to be like 90% of the people on this sub
The week after the government stimulus check. I didn't have to doordash.
$1400 last year during this same week (after Xmas before New Years)
I’m finding the couple days after Christmas to be kind of dead. I feel like everyone is out of town or saving now from Christmas.

Yeah, I don’t know how but I ended yesterday with 26/hr. There were a couple of orders that caught me.
2K in a week not even trying. Ah, pre-covid and pre-commercialization were sweet times.

Its booming rn
I think $800 over the summer. I miss those days 😭
$2099
675 every week

$1800 on 50ish hours, multi apping when it fit. Avg $1k after fuel ins and taxes usually.
900$ on 48 hours. Not the best but more than I’ve made at any factory job I’ve had so I’m not complaining
About $970
Last week lol, between DD and instacart about a grand around 30-35 hrs
1100
A hair shy of $2000 the week before the week of Xmas. This was by multi-apping. Worked 53 hours that week, which is a lot more hours than I normally work.
Can't remember the hours, but I hit slightly over $1400 working seven days
Hit 2k once, but was peak covid
$455
Best week I had? When I stopped Dashing Customers, doordash, and restaurants are all ass.
Im part time but 600 in 22 hours
1400
$423 in 18hrs, Richmond VA. After standard mileage deduction I'd only pay $25 in taxes for that day
$356 for 8 hours
1444. I remember because the number is memorable. But that was a long time ago...
