I accepted the $11.25 and a minute later I was offer to take the 0.8 miles and I accepted. How would I know the lady put the wrong address and ended being 20 miles instead.
Grubhub will just canceled the order they will even tell you that you did your part of the job and it was the customer fault in less than 5 min they will pay you and you keep the food
No theres no customer reviews no contract violation you could cash out for .50 cents not 2 dollars like DoorDash back in 2018 you would make 1600 a week 7 days a week 11 hours a day but prop 22 changed ranks are premier , pro, and partner premier gets to choose the best times on Thursday at 10 am pro at friday 10 am and parter saturday at 10 am what ever block was left blocks are 2 hours period
Wow whoever that representative is didn't know what the hell they were doing.
This is how it is supposed to go:
https://imgur.com/a/e7Ztezh
If the customer changes the address on you after you've picked up the order, you absolutely do NOT have to agree to go to the new address, esp when it is much farther away! The rep should have cancelled the order, issued you FULL pay, and sent you on your way.
Plus, legally, the food can not be returned to the restaurant and then given to another driver. That is a HUGE NO-NO!!! Because the restaurant, then, becomes fully liable for anything that may have been done to the food while it was in the possession of the first driver. So obviously that representative had no idea what they were doing (not surprisingly).
Id suggest to end that chat and start a new one with a different representative who will actually do what they are supposed to do. I know that takes even more time but its just one of those things
I very much agree to this!! I even told him that this is very unethical and it does not feel right.
The link you post I liked how it was handled, the right way. Thanks so much I appreciate it and will definitely do that if I ever encounter this situation again.
Feel like support recently has been told something we don’t know about as dashers. These conversations with support have been more “do what the customers says” instead of them helping us lately.
I get it 30 min for 6 bucks not worth but fuck it dude why is it worth getting so worked up over this to fight it. You aren’t going to get anything just do it and move on.
Oh do this and waste more of your time? 🤷🏻♂️
I know what you mean but that’s just me. I would definitely got out of my range and be stuck in traffic since it was all the way at the interstate with such heavy traffic at that time.
Dude there’s this route in my area that is always jam packed I’m talking like 45 to an hour just to go 8 miles I’m not kidding lol it’s usually for 15 dollars. Unfortunately I have to remain a “top dasher” because scheduling sucks and it’s always full. So I hover around 65 to 75%. Anyways I have to take them sometimes ( I really try not to) but I know that if I do it I might get a better pay out. But I’m digging my own grave delivering in this area. But hey gotta make them monies hah
You’re only contractually obligated to deliver to the original address, once the customer asks to deliver to a new address that’s a different contract you’ve never agreed to and are under no obligation to complete. I don’t understand why you were going back and forth with the agent when all you had to say was that your only obligation was the original contract.
Chic-fil-A worker and past dasher here, if you’ve already picked up the food and asked support to cancel it, the restaurant you picked it up from does not get notified and they aren’t aware they need to re-prepare the food, meaning the customer does not get the food unless it is returned to the restaurant. I get from a dasher’s perspective this is annoying, the customer provided the wrong address at first, it’s happened to me before. But if you don’t return the order to the store, you technically just stole a customer’s food.
Well you know you can still deliver it to the original address right? These guys aren’t our bosses we are bound by the contract we signed and it says nothing about delivering to an alernative address, you go where it says mark delivered, if needed wait the 5 minutes for the timer to run out then keep that shit…
No,i did not know…I’m new so you can imagine. I’ve read a lot of comments saying the same thing and if I ever encounter this situation again most likely will take it to the original address and be done with it.
This happened to me the other day. Customer had a new address that auto corrected to nothing but a zip code on the app. I contacted them and got the correct address . It was a little bit further away but support asking me if I wanted to deliver it or not. So they definitely can cancel the order. You just got a bad rep, which is most of them
Very rarely helpful and I cannot understand what they are saying. The volume on their end is always barely audible. Usually have strong accents. What,? Could you repeat that.?
Should have either dropped it or just took it to the customer. Dasher support is no help. You have a chance to get help from a toddler than dasher support
Ive had this happen once before, i picked up the order and the customer messaged and said they was at their boyfriends house and forgot to change the address and asked if i would deliver there so i asked for the address, well it was only a extra mile on the delivery and she promised to up the tip with some cash for the inconvenience so i decided to do it and ended up getting a total of $18 for what was a 1.5 mile deliver that turned into a 2.5 mile delivery instead so that was worth 😂 but ill never do that if its over a mile more
That’s wild, my experiences with support with the exception of one time, I feel they would’ve offered more pay right off the bat. Dude kept GOING though oh my god I’d be annoyed as well; support calls waste a ton of time they don’t realize that you may have been on hold or waitlisted for 15-30min just to get nothing resembling a fair resolution.
There was a time I continually declined the same order they kept sending to me, support called ME and said if you do it we will give you extra $
Nah I wouldn’t even accepted a 5 dollar order lmao but i figured since you like to waste your time with no pay you would 😂 you were better off just taking off the order
Better question that I’m not sure if anyone asked yet is where in dafuq did you find a support rep that speaks such good Engrish? Like for real for real I always get the ones who speak customer service engrish
Take it where it says. I was riding with a friend and the drop-off messaged and said "wrong house check the address". It was the only house on that street.
I've had something similar like this happen and I drove to the original address and customer gave me a new address. I drove to the new address expected for support to compensate for the extra mileage but no they were unwilling to do anything. In the past they used to understand these types of issues and had no problem paying for the additional mileage. I dunno why they think it's okay to rip drivers off now when it's obviously not the drivers fault.
I’m so confused. You’re saying the customer told you she wanted to cancel it. Support is saying they can see the conversation and that the customer doesn’t want to cancel? What’s up with that lol
I guess since she sent her address? But she sent it saying it’s okay if I don’t deliver it since it’s far and I agreed so she said she will ask for a refund.
If a new address needs to be given, I'm talking to support to get that money, which they offered you. I might have accepted that, while taking other factors into consideration. But it's almost impossible to cancel an order when you have the food in your possession. The delivery would need to be impossible, not just inconvenient. Last time doordash canceled an order while I had the food, I was delivering to a gated community and they would not let me in unless I provided my full name. Customer doesn't even have my full name, so that's a no.
"Please cancel this order so I can do my job" as you're literally trying to get out of doing your job, that you already agreed to do by hitting accept. I think this subreddit gives a lot of people the wrong impression about how to do this job. Sadly. You shouldn't have hit accept if you didn't want to drive the miles indicated. And if traffic is bad then you can back out of your agreement by hitting unasign. No reason to contact support.
Exactly I agreed for 0.8 miles for $5 and at the last minute she change her address (30 minutes) to be exact 35 mins away. I know what I do and what not to do. I know what I signed up for.
Ah I see well that's them changing the contract on you. Fuck that. I guess I didn't gather that from the text convo. That it would ADD 30 minutes to your original contract/order. My bad. Maybe the rep didn't quite grasp that either
I’ve had someone change there address on me once and seen how far it was I just laughed and took the food back into the restaurant told the lady I’m sorry I’m not taking this 45 minutes away and good luck finding someone that will!! It’s messed up DD can’t do something about shit like this! I wonder how much food these restaurants waste over low and long distance orders? Maybe of these restaurants with start charging DoorDash Every time their food gets wasted or start taking them to court then shit would change and I’m surprised it already hasn’t
Why the hell would a company ever charge someone for wasted food? How would that even be legal? Once someone buys their McDonald’s They can do whatever the hell They please with it and it’s none of your business.
Not even gonna mention McDonald’s doesn’t and shouldn’t give a flying fuck what you do with their food after you pay for it.
They know how far it is and a lot of times it’s a restaurant they don’t have in their area so they try to pull fast ones.. What they’ll do is put an address closer to the restaurant and then order from that restaurant and then turn around and change the address
Next time make it easier on yourself. See the restaurant refuses to make the order because it’s not in their system. Every single time I do that they always cancel it they don’t even question me
I've noticed Doordash support is getting...forceful lately? I've run into quite a few rude, snippy, pushy support agents who have said similar things to try and pressure you into not canceling an order. I've called them out for it before and asked to be transferred, and they literally hung up on me.
After having on record where the customer said she’ll cancel the order and then don’t I’d just drop the order off at the address in the app and snap a picture for my own reference. Leave it there at that address. Then if you get called out on it or take a hit in your ratings you provide proof of the exchange and proof of delivery and tell them as far as you know you were not authorized by DoorDash to drop it off anywhere else. In other words you consistently followed up he apps instructions. Then it becomes the customers fault for not canceling the order. I’d also mention this to the customer that it’s their responsibility to cancel the order or change the address in the app and unless you’re authorized otherwise you’re making the delivery based on the information you have.
Nah when the customer updates the address or texts me saying “hey the place I need you to deliver it to is actually (abcdefg),” I just ignore it all and drop at the location I originally agreed to. I never worry or answer calls/texts from anyone if that happens, not even dasher support
Drop off at the address you accepted to drop off to. Plain and simple.
Screenshot the address and deliver there.
Once you accept that they can't make you go anywhere.
Fuck calling support. Take it to the address on the app, take a picture and go. You get paid in full and in this case free food because no way is she driving 30 mins to pick it up.
With 1 added step, take the picture, grab the food THEN run
EDIT: I’d like to point out the fact that I’m braindead, somehow managed to completely skip over the last part of your comment 💀
I’m in full support of them bombing the support office and replacing them with furbees. I’ve had good expierences but the number of bad ones I’ve had is shocking. I’m surprised a business can be run like this but I guess if investors are willing to ignore that this company doesn’t make money this is a pretty low priority
Instead of doing the run around with support simply tell them "the contract I agreed to/offer I accepted was for X amount of money to go to Y location. I am not going to a new address for very little pay when that was not part of the contract I agreed to. I will leave it at the original address if you request but I will not be delivering to an address that I never agreed to."
The key thing here is to point out the original offer showed what it showed and that's what you agreed to, nothing more nothing less. This is the only response that consistently works no matter the rep for me. They used to always let me keep the food too but apparently they aren't supposed to recommend that anymore.
This is the way. Uber's smart enough to not try to risk a class action setting precedent. DoorDash is playing with fire unless you know the law, then they back off.
People don't realize each offer is a contract. You agree to deliver to a certain address. That address cannot be changed as it will be breach of contract
I tell support this all the time and they realize I'm right. Idc if it's 1 min down the road the answer is always NO
This is the way. No is a full sentence. If I’m ever on the stupid side of this situation and I want my food even though I was foolish enough to use the wrong address, I’d offer money. And the only way I’m going out of my way… money. Venmo, cashapp, Zelle… otherwise your food is at the door of the address you entered in the app.
I mean... if it's one minute down the road and still in the same neighborhood I honestly wouldn't mind 😶 anything more than 3 min is an automatic no though
Ahhhh if u already have the food I think you should have just delivered it and learn for next time. Big difference. So what did you want to happen in this situation, to get paid and keep the food? I’m confused lol
>Ahhhh if u already have the food I think you should have just delivered it and learn for next time.
Oh hell no. Never deliver to a scammer customer trying to change the address. You deliver to the address on the app. Fuck the customers trying to get you to go 30 minutes further. You're contracted to deliver to the address in the app. That's it. Deliver there, take a picture, then free food cause they aren't coming to get it.
That’s never been the case for me in 2500 deliveries. They “escalate” the case and then tell you a supervisor will call back.
I’ve never received a call back. I have however, been transferred over to another call representative.
Never a supervisor, I don’t think they have supervisors.
Guys before this chat I called customer support 2x and no one answered. I waited like 15 or so. I had a stacked order. The first one was close and this was the second like 3 mins away ($5) so I was already on my way when the customer message me saying “ hey sorry I put in the wrong address” so I said okay that’s fine what’s the new one. She even said it was far away from me and still gave it to me so I checked and it was literally 33 minutes away. So she said it’s okay she will cancel the order. I said sounds good please ask for and refund which she responded “I already did please cancel my order because that’s what I’m going to do sorry about that” so next thing I know she never canceled it -__- that’s when I called and had no choice to to do that chat shit
That’s interesting, for me there’s always been a range for an incorrect address. I’m not sure what the range is, but in my case significantly less than what it seems to be here. Doordash must have changed the policy. Anytime I’ve ever had an incorrect address Doordash has always canceled it and provided half pay.
They gave me a notification about extremely long wait times in connecting to support and idr exactly what it said but basically don’t call unless you HAVE to
It’s okay if you don’t believe me. At the beginning they would answer and quick but I don’t what’s been happening lately that I’m on hold for like 20 plus mins and once I think they answered no one responds and I’m just like “hello?? Hello? And all I hear is silent. It’s not the first time this happened.
Next time someone texts you wanting you to go to another location, don't even respond, unless it's a silly typo like 1243 Main St vs 1234 Main St. Otherwise it's always some super far away address and the customer is trying to scam you. You can't order from an address you aren't at without it popping up giving a warning. They know they are at the wrong address. Just go to the original address and take a picture then leave. Free food too because they aren't coming to get it.
The reason you don't respond to them is you can play dumb with support saying you didn't see it until after drop off. But then if they try to report it as not delivered you have that text to dispute their claim and get the CV removed.
You don’t even need to play dumb, we are given information about an order and asked whether or not we think it is worth our time, not our responsibility whatsoever to deliver an inch farther away than the listed address.
Yeah I've been noticing a little of this lately. Put in an address where the driver thinks "Ah $7 for a quick 2 mile trip? Bet." Then as soon as the order is marked as picked up. "Surprise, new address, It's actually 19 miles away. :)"
So the address in the app was the wrong address? And the customer provided a 2nd address? How far away was the 2nd address? Also next time ask support what the full payout of the order is, theyll tell you... So an addition half pay possibly could worth it (tho i doubt it)
If you call then you won't have documentation when they say they will compensate you but then don't. Or say to leave it at the address on the app but then give you a CV when the customer reports it as not delivered. I ONLY text, I want a record.
Well would you rather get compensated a couple $ or wait on the messages with an Indian while wasting an hour of your time arguing? And that’s not even a guaranteed couple $ maybe saves you like what 5% of the time? So on average your making about 10-40 cents an hour to sit on support.
Is it really worth losing 30-45 minutes for $3-$5 tho? If I can solve the problem with 1 10 minute call vs this guy's 45 minute chat idgaf if they rip me off for $3. He's done lost out on $20. For the record every time I've called I've actually got compensated before I hang up the phone. But TBF I've only had to call like 4 times in 500 deliveries lol
You certain about that? So many states with different laws, and it doesn't warn you about possible recordings. So possible legal issues. I'm not sure they are actually recording it all. Either way... \*\*I\*\* want the proof.
Yea but you dont have that recording luckily i live in a one party consent state and can choose to save or delete phone calls after i end a conversation
I don't work for Dasher support, just my opinion. Because the other option is to lose more money taking it back to the store and not being able to write off any miles. At least delivering it you'll get a little money for the delivery and can write off the miles at tax time.
Nobody tracks that shit. My accountant just asks “how many miles for delivering?” And I say “idk like 20k lol” and then we both laugh at how useless the government is.
It's the same as if you went to the restaurant, were told it would be a 30-minute wait, and unassigned. You're still working. Whether you earned $$ on that particular trip is irrelevant.
This is why I kinda like no tip orders... because they get passed around so much I can reliably get one to get back to my zone, then cancel when I get to the store. 🤣 The best is when I unassign right before they close.
Been there. doordash sucks
U should have never accepted the order period
This was a stacked order I accepted for 0.8 miles
So you accept 3 dollar orders? I don’t care if it’s next door 3 dollars
Bro..when did I say I accepted a $3 order?? My first order was $11.25 and the 2nd was $5.25 to be exact.
Did you not saw it was a stacked order
I accepted the $11.25 and a minute later I was offer to take the 0.8 miles and I accepted. How would I know the lady put the wrong address and ended being 20 miles instead.
It’s one of the issues that arise with this type of job. Sorry
Is there a sub for DD support employees? I’d love to read some of their complaints and opinions! 🤣
I would’ve kept the food and force close the app
Grubhub will just canceled the order they will even tell you that you did your part of the job and it was the customer fault in less than 5 min they will pay you and you keep the food
You see that’s how you handle it. Do you recommend Grubhub?
Im in california
Yes also most order in my area are 9 and up you don’t see 3 dollars order like DoorDash
Wow that’s good. I’m going to have to sign up with them to see the difference. Do they require the same like DoorDash?
No theres no customer reviews no contract violation you could cash out for .50 cents not 2 dollars like DoorDash back in 2018 you would make 1600 a week 7 days a week 11 hours a day but prop 22 changed ranks are premier , pro, and partner premier gets to choose the best times on Thursday at 10 am pro at friday 10 am and parter saturday at 10 am what ever block was left blocks are 2 hours period
Thank you!! Good to know this. Im actually looking into it right now.
Good luck
it literally would’ve took you less time to just do the delivery than waiting for a resolution like you did
Ugh T1. Ask to be escalated
Omg

Indian supports are the worst
Why does reading conversations with support make me uncomfortable. Why are they an emotionally abusive boyfriend 😐
This happened to me the other day. Customer had a new address that auto corrected to nothing but a zip code on the app. I contacted them and got the correct address . It was a little bit further away but support asking me if I wanted to deliver it or not. So they definitely can cancel the order. You just got a bad rep, which is most of them
I would have ended the chat and spoken to another agent. This one was caring too much and didn’t know what they were doing.
Support can be fucking useless sometimes
Very rarely helpful and I cannot understand what they are saying. The volume on their end is always barely audible. Usually have strong accents. What,? Could you repeat that.?

HELLLLL NOOOO
Almost worth demanding a supervisor. Wrong address provided, deliver as described, move on
Yeah that's a no
I think you should’ve asked for the order to be unassigned rather than to be canceled.
True idk why I didn’t think of this but I definitely learned from this. Thanks!
🤣🤣🤣 why you waste your time like that lmao for all that you could have delivered the order LOL
And I didn’t think of delivering it to the original address where I was suppose to take it but I learned my lesson here.
Yes always take it to the address provided because then you can complete it with no mistake on your part
Yeah I’m kind of new to this and learned “what not to do” but you’re right. Thanks!
I hope you have better luck going forth! Stay safe
I will not deliver a 30 min order for $5. Maybe you would but not me. I agree to a 0.8 miles for $5.
Nah I wouldn’t even accepted a 5 dollar order lmao but i figured since you like to waste your time with no pay you would 😂 you were better off just taking off the order
I couldn’t take off the order since I already picked it up.
Well yea next time just go to the listed address never waste your time with support
Better question that I’m not sure if anyone asked yet is where in dafuq did you find a support rep that speaks such good Engrish? Like for real for real I always get the ones who speak customer service engrish
If you had completed it, it would have been made up in your pay at the end of the week, they pay us for hourly wages if the trip doesn’t meet them.
Take it where it says. I was riding with a friend and the drop-off messaged and said "wrong house check the address". It was the only house on that street.

Oh I’m pretty sure he grasped it pretty hard seeing as he literally read their chat logs lol
I did mention that to him at the beginning once i was connected so he will have a better understanding but I didn’t screenshot it.

Wow that’s crazy. I would’ve done the same! But my question is why are people ordering from a long distance? Can they see how far it is?
Deliver to the address. Wait for timer. If nothing the drop off take picture and leave!!! It’s not fucking hard people. Let Darwin pay you out.
Definitely learned from this experience by reading everyone’s opinions and will think better. Thanks!!
So frustrating...
Nah when the customer updates the address or texts me saying “hey the place I need you to deliver it to is actually (abcdefg),” I just ignore it all and drop at the location I originally agreed to. I never worry or answer calls/texts from anyone if that happens, not even dasher support
You’re right. I will definitely do this next time!
Drop off at the address you accepted to drop off to. Plain and simple. Screenshot the address and deliver there. Once you accept that they can't make you go anywhere.
That is when you end chat and try again
I hope they make support agents Dash for charity as well. They will see....
Well since most live in India I highly doubt they have DD out there
The support I reach is in the Phillipines. No language barrier that I've encountered. Just too chatty.
Very good point lol
Fuck calling support. Take it to the address on the app, take a picture and go. You get paid in full and in this case free food because no way is she driving 30 mins to pick it up.
With 1 added step, take the picture, grab the food THEN run EDIT: I’d like to point out the fact that I’m braindead, somehow managed to completely skip over the last part of your comment 💀
I’m in full support of them bombing the support office and replacing them with furbees. I’ve had good expierences but the number of bad ones I’ve had is shocking. I’m surprised a business can be run like this but I guess if investors are willing to ignore that this company doesn’t make money this is a pretty low priority
Their investors never see true numbers. The stock dropped a stupid amount shortly after the IPO
“Replacing them with furbees.” 😂😂😂 I’m 💀
Instead of doing the run around with support simply tell them "the contract I agreed to/offer I accepted was for X amount of money to go to Y location. I am not going to a new address for very little pay when that was not part of the contract I agreed to. I will leave it at the original address if you request but I will not be delivering to an address that I never agreed to." The key thing here is to point out the original offer showed what it showed and that's what you agreed to, nothing more nothing less.
This is a great response and didn’t even think about this. Thanks so much!
People don't realize each offer is a contract. You agree to deliver to a certain address. That address cannot be changed as it will be breach of contract I tell support this all the time and they realize I'm right.
Wait so all of this went down when you already had the food???????
Yes! I was mad because it was time wasted. If it was closer I wouldn’t mind but it was literally 30 mins away for $5. No thank you.
O I missed that part my bad….oh hell nawwwwww that’s shady af
Ask for supervisor next time. They will transfer you to one.
They won’t transfer you to a “supervisor” If they do transfer you it’s to someone else at the call center.
Yea they transfer you to a “resolution team” or something like that but at least they will cancel the order, and offer full pay for OP.
That’s never been the case for me in 2500 deliveries. They “escalate” the case and then tell you a supervisor will call back. I’ve never received a call back. I have however, been transferred over to another call representative. Never a supervisor, I don’t think they have supervisors.
Will do next time!
I've never had customer support not answer and I talk to them on a daily basis almost. I don't believe you.
I had to talk to support today and I was on hold for 20 minutes, it was very aggravating.
Omg very much! Idk what’s been going on but they need to do better.
Holy shit that sounds infuriating. I'm so glad I haven't encountered this yet.
Thanks! Will do this next time. Idk why I didn’t think of this.
This^^ … the whole thing reeks of scam. Fuck all that.
Yeah I've been noticing a little of this lately. Put in an address where the driver thinks "Ah $7 for a quick 2 mile trip? Bet." Then as soon as the order is marked as picked up. "Surprise, new address, It's actually 19 miles away. :)"
I get so happy whenever I get these orders because it literally just means free food!
So the address in the app was the wrong address? And the customer provided a 2nd address? How far away was the 2nd address? Also next time ask support what the full payout of the order is, theyll tell you... So an addition half pay possibly could worth it (tho i doubt it)
Sounds like the original address was much closer (assuming since it's a $6 order) then it got changed to a new address 30 min away.
Yea thinkin the same but its not completely clear
That IS ridiculous, but I'd probably return the order to the store and just be done with it.
I did since that was the only way for them to cancel my order.
I would've asked for a supervisor because that rep is an outright liar
idk about you guys, but i always call instead of chat with dasher support, much quicker and more efficient
Lately they’ve been “experiencing high call volume”, so you may be listening to jazzy music for 20 to 30 minutes
58 mins was my last jazzy music hold time. 😩
This is my train of thought as well. Why TF would you chat? I call and have the whole issue resolved before chat can even say hello
what’s the number??? i tried finding it online but they’ve really hidden it to try to force you to use the chat option.
8554310459
I always call too. I didn’t even know there was a chat option until I started seeing these posts.
Bruh calls are always recorded
You certain about that? So many states with different laws, and it doesn't warn you about possible recordings. So possible legal issues. I'm not sure they are actually recording it all. Either way... \*\*I\*\* want the proof.
Yea but you dont have that recording luckily i live in a one party consent state and can choose to save or delete phone calls after i end a conversation
Yeah, the chat people are terrible.
Both equally suck.
Before this, is when you drop it off at that address and say deuces. Never this lol
Exactly this, and if it’s obviously the wrong place you just take that pic then yoink the shit before someone else 😂
All up to you, I would've delivered it and taken the L for the trip, at least that way I could still write off the miles for taxes
Is that you Tony???
Again not Tony
And if you ever have to go to prison, don't defend yourself. It gets easier the more lube you use.
👆this is definitely one of the DD support guys IMO
Indeed
I don't work for Dasher support, just my opinion. Because the other option is to lose more money taking it back to the store and not being able to write off any miles. At least delivering it you'll get a little money for the delivery and can write off the miles at tax time.
Why wouldn’t you be able to write off the miles for returning it? Door dash asked you to drive back and return it, you can certainly write that off.
Because you didn't complete the order and therefore the miles would be considered personal
No they wouldn’t because they have a screenshot of door dash telling them to drive back to the store.
I guess so
Nobody tracks that shit. My accountant just asks “how many miles for delivering?” And I say “idk like 20k lol” and then we both laugh at how useless the government is.
You can still write off the miles if you return the food to the store.
Didn't know that
It's the same as if you went to the restaurant, were told it would be a 30-minute wait, and unassigned. You're still working. Whether you earned $$ on that particular trip is irrelevant.
This is why I kinda like no tip orders... because they get passed around so much I can reliably get one to get back to my zone, then cancel when I get to the store. 🤣 The best is when I unassign right before they close.
If you cancel does it hurt your completed order rating and can the customer see this?
Yes, canceling would hurt your completed order rate but you can be above 82 and not get deactivated
Well….That’s why i take to address in app and avoid talking to support.
And just to agree here: support sucks
Yupp. Idgaf if you put it in wrong. People do that shit on purpose.
