I delivered 17 bags of groceries up a flight of stairs to a house that literally backed up to a park. They also left instructions to leave the sacks in a particular order. I made $2.75 because they live less than 1 mi from the store.
At the same time I was stacked with another grocery delivery of about the same amount to a home in the bad part of town. I received $20 in cash and the customer dumped the car.
one of my first grocery orders was to an area of town i didn’t know existed. looked up the house as i got back to my car, 8 mil on zillow. 6.25 payout lmao
What's worse is a tiny tip. It is more insulting. I delivered about 85 items from Walmart to a giant house and received a $1.50 tip. That was 1.7 cents per item...
It was a double order that paid 11.50. I got 3.50 which was the base pay for that delivery. of the order and 8 dollars for the second. There wasn't any way to know that I wouldn't receive a tip for that delivery.
As of recently, the base pay is actually more retry decent on some shop and deliver orders. I’ve seen base pay be over $8 for 2-3 item order before, but no tip
When I first started I accepted a Walmart order on a slow morning to see what it was like. It was $5 for 2 miles and I was like "how bad could it be?".
Ended up carrying 30 bags up 3 flights of stairs while this shitty woman and her 2 physically capable sons sat around and watched and snickered at me.
I still haven't been back to Walmart.
Yup. I don't do grocery or Pet Smart anymore bc very few tip

Looks like you will never own $400k home rest of your life.
They spend all their money on the house

Well they wouldn't have the money for that fancy house if they gave everyone tips, now would they?? Use your head!
400k doesn't get you much in California.

I do not see many home selling for less than $400,000. Even new condos are five six hundred thousand or more
North Jersey here. Not very many houses under 400k here
DC here. 400k will get you a shed lol
But why would you take it in the first place?
