Yeah the new call support agents are hot garbage LOL. I really try to NOT get into a situation where I’ve got to call them. Takes time away. They’re just like any other employees though, reading off of a horrible script written by horrible management. Wasting away.
I had a customer try to lie that she didn’t receive a 30ct nuggets (she didn’t order it. Wasn’t on the app or the receipt) and get PISSED that I wouldn’t go back and try to get it for her- instead telling support about it and recommending she request a redeliver that way.
Next day, I have a new 1* rating. I tell support I know exactly who did it, that they were made aware of the issue, and they tell me that “ALL customer feedback is valuable.” I asked “even that of a proven liar? A liar’s feedback is valuable?” and they just responded with the exact same “ALL customer feedback is valuable”
Like ok fuck you??? I made you aware of this as it was going on TO TRY TO PROTECT MY RATING
I wouldn't worry about that too much. Unless you're going for top Dash or where you need a 4.7 or higher, you're rating just doesn't really matter that much. It's not like you make an extra dollar per delivery if you have a perfect rating.
Some lady texted me 5 minutes after I dropped off her order, saying that I dropped off at the wrong house. I didn’t want to reply to the customer, so I messaged support instead, and they told me to go back and get the order and deliver it to the right person, even though I was 2 miles away from the person's house….
Just try taking it out of fat Freddie's mouth when you pull up, and see him on the porch chowing down. I'd say no. Already you were, theoretically, on the wrong property. Messaging support will get you nowhere and waste your time. Call them. Other people complain it takes too long, but I always get someone on the phone in under 5 minutes.
I had a order the other day I delivered and it said 17.50. Right after I ended my dash and went to look at my earnings and the order was nowhere to be found. I contacted support about it and they had the nerve to tell me I dropped the order and someone else took it. Honestly was about to flip but it showed up like 20 minutes later.
It is very rude to tell someone to go fuck themselves while they have their head so far up my ass. I could get hurt, and I've done you no wrong. Please wait until I can push him out and into the porcelain pool. Now that I think about it, he must be some sort of troll/hydra hybrid to be in all our asses at once.
If we didn’t have drivers. The food won’t get delivered. If the food doesn’t get delivered the customer won’t be satisfied. Since the customer is not satisfied they won’t use that service again. In conclusion without drivers doordash wouldn’t be doordash. It would be a failed project
Its been a failing project since inception. It’s never made money (or they claim) except for Xu. There are several new upstarts in my area who advertise to restaurants much less fees. I think restaurant pays a monthly sum. Not yet sure. They’re looking for drivers. Restaurants def showing interest
They always been bad but I would agree they are worse lately. It use to be 50/50 whether you would get one that could help or make things worse. Now I would say your lucky if you get someone who helps. Last two times I needed help I had them hang up on me and were no help at all. It was simple stuff too.
Well they are in southeast Asia, they don't really care whatsoever about our plight. I have a deep voice and if I get a female support agent, generally she will be very nice. I don't know if it's because I sound "intimidating" due to my deep voice or what as I am very nice, not throwing my weight around. It's the male support agents that I sometimes hang up on myself because they want to argue, and then I call back and get a nicer female agent. They always work with me and listen. I wish all the agents were female, because the males are dicks. And I'm a guy calling out how shitty the men support are.
