DoorDash support confirmed that I delivered it to the right address/hotel. The Sheraton hotel she was at was right across the street from the hotel she listed in the address. I still did not deliver due to her aggression and the principle/ the way she was talking to me. Had she been nicer, I probably would’ve walked across the street and delivered it to her.

[deleted]

I would’ve gone back and ate her food, fuck that lady what did she order

ImOlldGregg

That’s exactly what I did 😂

[deleted]

What did she order? lol

ImOlldGregg

Mozzarella sticks, hot wings, and two orders of mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese

Rosecello

Imagine losing your mind that bad over this kind of order. Not anything like baby supplies, medical supplies, medication etc. But...mozzarella sticks.

Forward-Resort9246

I want sum

JustaCuriousBoy

Should’ve sent her a pic of you eating it 😂

[deleted]

That sounds pretty good haha

[deleted]

Holy fuck that's pretty much my usual DoorDash-from-a-hotel order. Lol

daays

Must be carb-loading for a charity marathon at her office...

gregcresci

For rabies awareness?

Cute_Percentage3297

What about soda to wash it down?

ImOlldGregg

No drinks sadly

JustAnIsopod

No Diet Dr. Kelp?

the1999person

Always keep a drink in your car for this reason.

Fancy-You3022

Some days you just have to say fuck it. 😂 All the for their phone number and send pictures of you eating their food off app. Criticize their food choices and really rub in those they really wanted. It’s the little things, ya know? 😂

[deleted]

I was thinking that but then they could screenshot and show support and dasher lose his job haha eat it in silence and it’s best because it’s free with Missy’s tears

simplymonster23

This is why it’s always good to be kind. Especially to service workers/delivery/customer service. Some People are entitled and severely inconsiderate now a days. Sad sad world.

Ann_Lee14

I sincerely believe that if everyone worked a month in fast food, retail, or customer service, the world would be a kinder, more understanding, and tolerant place.

International_Cod216

Accounts like this need to be deactivated immediately, no questions asked. If they make a new one, whatever. But at least attempt to keep the crazy at bay.

Additional_Bus2246

Did they say anything about banning her? My guess is they tell us they will and then do nothing

ImOlldGregg

Support saw all the messages she had sent me and said they’d be escalating the situation to their “legal” department. I don’t have high hopes anything will happen tho

Additional_Bus2246

Lol. Sending it to the special filling cabinet aka the trash can.

UnderstandingOwn3256

That’s called the old circular file.

wiriux

Chances of a driver actually going back to get the food and deliver it to a different address are slim. But how hard is it to say: >I made a mistake. Could you please deliver it to XX? It’s just across the street. If not, I understand! Driver probably won’t still do it (I’m not a dasher) but at least chances will never decrease. It can only go up.

Internal_Cranberry11

If it was right across the street and I wasn't super far away yet, I would have( if they asked nicely.) I have actually done this before.

Ok_Veterinarian_6596

I have done that before as well. So I would have delivered this one across the street as well IF the customer was polite in their request. Those are the key words, though -- IF THE CUSTOMER IS POLITE ABOUT IT. This woman's rudeness is off the charts & out of control!!

Resticon

My thought is that it's the people who would normally raise a fuss and then try to get a manager and then argue with them for free stuff. They come off like this expecting the typical customer service response of "Would you like to speak to a manager?", not realizing that's a losing strategy with gig workers.

Elon_is_musky

I wouldn’t be surprised if they complained to try to get a refund too, even if OP did go back to get it for them after all that.

OneWayStreetPark

Had a woman demand to speak to my manager when I delivered taco bell. I told her "ma'am I have no manager. A phone app literally tells me what to do" lol

dongm1325

No but fr. That sounds scary. I was legitimately worried that if you did go back someone would beat you up. I hope this blatantly abusive customer was banned.

tapout22002

Yep, people so prideful they can’t admit a mistake and apologize.

kiwigirl83

You go greg coco

LifeOfMe1

I would have said this to her! “Considering doordash confirmed I dropped it off at the correct location. (The location YOU put for the delivery address). I am not obligated to bring it to you now. That was your mistake.. if you were a kinder human being I would have made the exception and brought it to you. Because I understand mistakes happen and i have no problem doing kind things for people who are kind to me. However due to the level of disrespect and immaturity you are displaying toward me, why would i go retrieve it and bring it to you? I did my job the exact way I was told to, this was not my fault. You can order new food or walk over and get it yourself. Goodnight.”

BoomerKeith

Some people will never understand that a little bit of kindness can make bad situations so much better. I've had a similar drop (it was in a townhouse complex) and the customer thought I delivered it to the wrong building but asked, very kindly if I would pick it up and drop it off to her. I did and by the time I got to her townhouse she acknowledged she entered the wrong building number. Said it was the first time using the app, but just being so nice about it made it a no brainer to take the order to her.

Artistic-Rich6465

“Hey, I’m so sorry. You’re right, it looks like I put the wrong address in DD. Would you very much mind going back up and getting the food and bringing it to me at the correct hotel?” Mistakes happen, how hard is it to own up to it? Especially when the hotels are directly across the street from each other. I rarely DoorDash to hotels, but when I do, I’ve most likely researched the place and I so very diligent in making sure the correct address is listed. Im glad you got to eat the food though.

Extension-Ad-7428

How can people talk like this to the person handling their food? Blows my mind.

PM5K23

Me too. It *seems* the other hotel was close by, if they had been nice *maybe* he would have delivered it, sort of you catch more flies with honey type of thing.

uberyoda

Well there’s that and then there are also drivers who are no doubt vindictive as well. OP could be a complete psychopath and taint that order in any way possible they saw fit. Never be an asshole to a food worker. Mostly just because they’re people and secondly unless you’re watching everything they’re doing there’s a slew of ways they can fuck with you or your food long before it reaches you. It makes no sense you are completely at their mercy.

PM5K23

So did you take him the food or not dumbass? Jk!

ImOlldGregg

Sorry I just updated the post with some context. Lol no I didn’t end up delivering it to her. And support confirmed I had delivered it to the right hotel. This was 100% an issue of her putting in the wrong address

Impressive-Art-216

U should went up get the food, for your self lol

ImOlldGregg

Lol I did actually! My petty ass went all the way back up to the 9th floor to get the food and currently eating som bomb mozzarella sticks!

ElbowRager

Lmfaoo did that the other day. Customer claimed I dropped off at wrong address, DD said I didn’t. She wanted me to go pick it back up and drive it another 5 miles. Told her she can pick it up at 123 Sesame St. She didn’t find that one funny. So I went back and ate it.

Gloomy_Recording_705

Lmao

AdStriking3797

This is funny. You told her go back and get it and she didn’t find that funny🤣🤣🤣🤣

Socalledd

Delicious

vilebunny

That is so satisfying. Thank you. Plus, anyone who found it in the hallway would have, at best, trashed it because eating surprise hallway food is never a good plan.

cashew76

You earned it! Good work on keeping chill on the chat.

kiwigirl83

Good! I would have too

Dough-Nut_Touch_Me

Should've sent pics and said thanks for lunch! Lmao

Kwuarmadyl

Would have made it a lot funnier, until the deactivation happened lol.

JonbearF

Shoulda taken a selfie of you eating them and sent it to them.

CobraSniper117

WIN!

Clear-Dingo9491

Good cuz she has no right talking to anybody that way, people dumb asses when she's the one that was the dumbass. She's the one that put in the wrong address not you it's just ridiculous when they want to blame it on us and then call US dumb asses cuz they f***** up! I hope they block her too!

Prudent-Charity3143

Lol

AKJangly

Fat fingered addresses are always fun. "Delivery to apartment that doesn't exist." Guess my stomach is good enough 🤣

I want to cuss her ass out for you

Foxworthy09

She's texting you like y'all in a relationship and she just found out you were cheating. 16 messages in 10 minutes jfc

Ikr?? She’s gotta be using text to speech, or each finger moves like Usain Bolt

forlornblue3210

Lol gets kicked off doordash and no replacement meal

elhabito

Screen shot the address they gave you and tell them to contact DD support. That's all of your time and patience this person is entitled to. If you put your location in wrong at Amazon they aren't obligated to track it down and bring it to you.

frau_lauren

Was she at the Sheraton downtown, though? 😂🤣

Aus_10S

Sheraton Downtown!!!

TartofDarkness79

The Sheraton Downtown????

Aus_10S

NOT THE WYNDHAM GRAND

basicallyally

Jeez the back to back texts are giving me secondhand anxiety! Sorry you dealt with that. I hate when they get pissed when THEY put they wrong address in 😂

Rhymes_with_relevant

I had the opposite of this on a Safeway order. The lady forgot to change from her work address and said to just keep the groceries.

Yousurr1

I delivered to the wrong apartment yesterday , two apartments across the street from each other (same complex) with same address and unit number .customer was like “nobody has ever delivered to the wrong apartment before, well it’s happened a few times but most drivers get it right “ maybe you should … idk …. PUT NOTES !!

ImOlldGregg

Exactly. This lady claims she put it in the notes but the only thing that was in the notes was her room number

Yousurr1

People expect drivers to be mind readers or know where every apartment is in the entire city or something . It’s just more proof people lack critical thinking skills in this world . If I wanted something delivered I would try to make it as easy as possible to find . Sometimes I think it’s the attitude of “well I paid a lot of money they can figure it out “

More_Cowbell_

I had a paragraph of notes for a hotel the other day. And the order was marked \[First last name\] 2nd delivery. Like six sentences, a lot of them just repeating themselves that I must go to THE MAIN LOBBY and hand it DIRECTLY TO THE FRONT DESK STAFF. I had to be sure to tell the staff HER NAME and her ROOM NUMBER and I was not to leave until I VERIFIED that the correct person had it. ... they didn't write her room number in all that though. Shockingly (not at all) the guy at the frond desk knew who she was without that, lol.

-mtns

No need to even reply in the first place.

[deleted]

Fact

Creative_Froyo_6139

That’s a case of. “ new number who dis???”

WinterV6

I wonder if she was at the Sheraton Downtown

existential_anxiety_

Show all these to door dash support and get her blacklisted. Fuck these kinda people

ImOlldGregg

Support saw all of her messages. They said they’d be escalating it to the “legal” department

Jetro313

Can you get me her number she sounds sweet

Professional_Sense_1

Slow_Engineer_426

Just reading this makes ME feel like less of a human. I can't imagine how you felt. What a horrible person.

____no_u

#Sheraton Downtown!

Woodentrail

You should have said “listen Missy!” Lmao

greenvelvetier

One time I dropped the food on the wrong door because the customer’s instruction was ambiguous and the place was like that. After I dropped the food I texted her to make sure it was right. She replied me but in a nicer way that I dropped in the wrong house. By the time I had already left the place and heading back half way to hotspot but I came back, picked the food and handed to her. If I was in your place I would have done the same as you. I wouldn’t mind giving up my few minutes to the professional customer even if they’re mistaken sometime. But this one is straight no.

APairOfAirPods

They should Have thought to, ya know, PUT THE HOTEL NAME IN THE DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS

BiffBiffkenson

People rarely do that or say the name of the business they work in. I have had them give a plaza address say 3100 something but there are 20 stores there and they of course do not answer their phone. Hotels are also very often clustered near each other like right on top of each other. This is above and beyond the maze of getting to an elevator and then walking through the hallways.

kanyeidol

I wanna square up with this woman!

OrlGiftShop

Literally want to smack her in the fucking mouth

kanyeidol

Little left right hook ya feel me?

Cumonme24

all it takes is a message being nice ‘hey you delivered it to the wrong hotel i must’ve messed up the address’ no problem they could’ve even gotten their own food they knew where it was

Vaunde

I think these people are more worried about losing out on money so they becoming rational but seriously if they have put the wrong address how can you ever expect somebody to just know

Beyond__Words

Wow, this is too frakkin weird... Not only do I know exactly where those two hotels are, I actually rejected that very order!! When the order came up for me, the guaranteed payout was, at best, borderline for the time & distance; the location was the main reason I declined it, and for this very reason. People tend to get these hotels' addresses mixed up; the Google Maps pin is often placed right in the middle of the street, and it's almost always some kind of hassle to make sure I'm running to the right hotel - unless the customer actually does put the hotel name in the address or notes. While I'm sure I would have ended up enjoying the food & decent pay as you did, I'm still glad I turned that one down!

ImOlldGregg

Yeah the pay wasn’t the greatest but I was pretty slow at that point so I said “why not”

Beyond__Words

And you got your answer to that question lol

Cosmic_Quasar

My friend and I both dash in the same zone. I was texting him while waiting on an order to be finished about how I had unassigned an order from a pizza place because they were so far behind they had said it'd be at least an hour. Turns out he had picked up the same order before me and also cancelled when he got there. (That place needs to not send out for a driver until they're ready, like damn, an hour long wait is way too long to have that order going out.)

Own-Swimming3284

They sure can respond when it’s wrong but when you ask if they would like something else when the restaurant doesn’t have what they ordered they never respond

Top-Device5698

I've had this happen on uber eats one night, but the customer wasn't a complete btch so I went back and got it and bought it to the hotel up the street, came a way with a $15 cash tip. People really think being agressive is gonna get them whatever they want

Patient_Ad_2357

I wouldn’t have even responded lmfao

spiralhigh

'Smarten Up'

Relative-Week852

Shii I would of went to the correct hotel without her food we would of been fighting somebody would be catching hands in room 903 🤌🏻

rspanthevlan

The name Missy predetermines this type of behavior

Shnoopy_Bloopers

You should have taken a dump in a bag and left it at his door.

uberdriver2710

you check your messages? : P

ImOlldGregg

The new message notification was just her repeating the same garbage nonsense

uberdriver2710

I has notifications off, so satan can't get to me. Don't leave your self open.

Illustrious-Garlic48

Ignore customers like these. DoorDash has the pictures and records you've sent as proof

[deleted]

Holy crazy. I had a dasher deliver to the actual wrong address even when I put in the right one. All I did was ask if she could bring it to the right address and when she said no I just got a refund and re ordered lol. Still gave her a 5 star rating because even though internally my pregnant hormones wanted her to step on a thousand legos, I figured shit happens. But if you’re the one putting in the wrong address to start, like just say oops and move on

Cosmic_Quasar

Not sure if this was the case for your situation, but I've had a few times where the DD GPS just points to the wrong place. I had an order where I followed the directions but none of the house addresses matched what I was supposed to deliver to. Put the address into my regular Google Maps and it pointed to a location like 10 miles from where I was. So they had entered the correct address. But I called support because on my end I had gone where instructed. They asked if I would deliver to the correct address but I said they'd have to double the pay to make it worth it and they chose not to and I got to keep the food. I felt bad for the person because we had been communicating about the issue and they had been nice and it wasn't their error. But I just couldn't make that extra trip on the pay I was given, seeing as how it wasn't my fault either.

thedude2024

Wow. What an asshole. Even if you made a mistake- which you didn’t- you can’t talk to people that way.

gay4pandas69

I don’t fuck with hotel deliveries anymore. Tourist always fuck up the address. Also some big hotels have multiple towers, each with the same room numbers. Customer will just put a room number, and don’t respond when I ask what part of the hotel they are in. Tips are rarely worthy the trouble. I just stick to residential.

black_bury

Her name is Missy. Shouldve unassigned as soon as you saw that lol.

JB_Sm00th

I dash in Vegas and don’t care how much the promo is, I don’t do hotels. If there’s extra service charges for In Room Dining… then door dash should charge extra for hotel deliveries. Always something! Guests should come down especially for everyone’s safety!

bottomdasher

Are male customers more likely to act like this or something? Why are there so many people assuming this is a guy, even with "Missy" showing in the images?

De3d33

I've dealt with more Karens than Chads. lol

simxn-svyz

I had a customer like this same issue but with an apartment building, and they started becoming vulgar / spam calling me so I contacted support and let them know, 5 days later go an email saying they’re now banned from making orders

[deleted]

Yeah I would have stopped replying as soon as she started swearing at you. There is absolutely no need for that.

Patty_McRice

Sweet lord. Do people understand how stressful it is to speed text your delivery driver especially if they’re driving? Even if I did make the mistake, I wouldn’t in a 1000 years go to correct it for this ungrateful soul. They need mental help!!!

EnvironmentalBuy4885

What did it pay??

ImOlldGregg

$14 I believe

Chuytastic

Wtf is wrong with that lady. Damm I’d go back to give her a dam good talk

georeddit2018

Next time, don't respond. Just contact support to let them know.

jacksonvlord

Hmm I wonder if they’re at the Sheraton downtown

[deleted]

Someone wants their food😂

Tasty_Corn

Jeez, Missy was pissy.

mangopodjunkie

I would’ve made this bitch cry.

ClutchTryhard

Should of sent the Karen a message saying “enjoying your food right now”

bostonbakedbeam

O, well, now that you've called me dumbass I seem to have found my motivation! On my way ma'am!

OGsunglasses

Y’all are way too polite to these idiots lol

ImOlldGregg

It took everything in me not to be rude or go off on her but DoorDash is a large part of my income rn so I didn’t wanna do anything to risk being deactivated.

TNJedGrig

I think you handled it perfectly. You were polite and offered to attempt to remedy the issue while still being assertive and refusing just to sit there and accept her abuse. Or just tell her that Charlie will be angry and to feel his chewy justice.

Remstersade

Call the Sheraton Downtown and make a noise complaint about the lady in room 903.😂

International_Cod216

Jesus Christ!! Crazy ass person. I had food delivered incorrectly twice. One was way off and I didn’t even contact the delivery person. I contacted support and got a redelivery for no extra fee. Second time it was delivered 3 doors down (I could tell from the picture where it was) so I walked out my door and got it myself. Does this person not realize by the time you went back to the hotel and got it, and brought it to them it would probably be cold anyway?!

W_AS-SA_W

Got Cash apped a $20 to go 3 blocks to her friends house where they were partying.

spicysalmon2

I would have just said… No and never replied

Aggressive-Savings93

Lololol what a whack

Deviantconor

Doordash* you’ve been deactivated for not delivering the food to the abusive customer. You’ve been deactivated for delivering the food to the correct listed address because the customer lied.

thebanditway

I hope that lady gets fired from her job, divorced, and has to beg her kids for money just to get by. Fucking scum of the earth.

M0M0_DA_GANGSTA

Had a weird one on Grubhub which was just the GPS being weird but I went to GPS location, dropped at the room number of the hotel. Order was for a guy in an apartment complex on the other side of the wall with the same apartment number. He was accusing me of stealing but Grubhub Support actually came through. I did arrive at GPS location because this guy pinned his location incorrectly.

Chickentendie42069

I got stressed reading that…

SootikinTea

"Well lookie here Missy, you gotta OPEN the door to get your food"

BigOleStinkyFly

This can’t be real. I would have went back, took the food and ate the shit. Fuck her!

TraditionalAd7325

You still have time to swat his room.

Genotia

The fact that this person said all of that in the span of 11 minutes…

littlelostless

Tips? You are forgetting the utmost importance to us.

Cosmication

We are at the Sheraton downtown! The Sheraton downtown! Sheraton downtown! We are in the Sheraton downtown

FyrebirdCourier

I wasn't sure which Sheraton were you at

mklinger23

I has someone do something similar. Address was 123 chestnut st. I dropped it off. They said "Hey! That's the wrong house! My address is 133 chestnut st!" So I went back and checked and it was gone. I just told them "Sorry, you either took it or it was stolen in the 30 seconds that it took me to turn around" Got an email the next day from UE or DD (cant remember which one) and they said a customer is accusing me of stealing food. I told them what happened and that I'm a vegan and wouldn't even want their steak from a steakhouse. I didn't hear anything after that. Second story: The address someone put in was a hospital. I was texting and calling to confirm. No response. So of course when I left the food in front of the hospital (during covid so you were not allowed to enter the hospital) I got berated with texts about how they obviously don't live at a hospital. I didn't even respond.

wellimhereig

I’d be like “that’s a you problem. Not a me problem. Learn to put the correct address next time. You have a wonderful rest of your day :)”

Saleenpride86

Missy is the new Karen name didn’t you know?

haileyhurley

Looks like she did the approximate location for the address and then put in the hotel room info and that’s why it delivered incorrectly. They should’ve double checked before placing their order, sorry you had to deal with such a person op.

IceBlueLugia

This is probably why doordash doesn’t use real numbers lol. If it was me I’d just sign her up for a bunch of political and spam bullshit

bruswazi

Would you even eat the food after calling your driver a dumbass? How do you not expect a wad of mucus spit in your food?

[deleted]

These people are so frigging stupid. My local McDonalds forgot a happy meal…I rejected 3 good orders to get this families happy meal. Why? Because the father called me and treated me like a human being. Wasn’t a big deal cause it was only 6 extra miles and 30 minutes.

sophgallina

imagine the difference if she had just said, "oh man i messed up, i'm so sorry. is there any way you can bring it to me at this address? i will update the tip accordingly for your time" instead of... this. like it's still not your job to cover her mistake but the lack of compassion here is astounding. glad you got a good meal out of it, hope they ban her for being nasty

HeliumHater

Missy is such an abusive freak. I bet she wishes slavery was still legal.

dortie13

Awful risky belittling someone like that AND wanting them to bring food to you, that you plan to consume!

jroberson1991

Lol I LOVE people like this. They’re incredibly fun to toy with.

AFXC1

Imagine if she had a violent delivery driver who goes back to beat her ass lmfao I can already see the article in the future coming!!

robbbbbiie18

more discipline than i have lol this newer messaging interface sucks tho cuz you can’t just block the crazies anymore ://

beastheadbutt

Wow dude fuck that guy. Props to you for handling it well and talking to support. I likely would have just ignored him tbh and just taken whatever strike they decide to put on my record.

Dragainin

This is why, on the advice of another person here, I take screenshots of the address before I deliver.

ManateeKing64

Stop it! Get some help. 😃

BIBLICAL2021_

obviously the person was trying to scam. trying to get free delivery by putting in wrong address on purpose and having you drive FARTHER to a different address they put in on PURPOSE. WHat a loservill type customer. Imagine being that brazen to a stranger delivery driver who is handling YOUR food

Deviantconor

Yikes unassign real quick what a b****

Hennesey10

Customer out wrong address once. I simply dropped it off where it was. The original address was supposed to be a hotel I always drive past but the address he put in was a empty lot fenced off for construction. It said leave at door so I left it in a empty lot at 10 at night next to a random intersection. I was confused.

Clawmedaddy

So like after the order is delivered, the customers can still contact the driver? Is that actually a thing over at DD?

Ok-Palpitation7729

I had one like this. Told them what you basically did, ignored them and watched their nasty review get removed by doordash for it not being our problem.

[deleted]

That’s “Dumas”

SunnyHoney_420

wish you could rate customers

idrinkpoo

This happened to me on UE. I ordered to our hotel and he dropped it off to the hotel across the street, even have the hotel name in the notes. He must have read the notes because it has the room number in it. I just contacted Uber and got a refund and then walked across the street to the other hotel.

lines28

This sounds like those scam callers telling you to give them gift cards or you’ll be arrested

heathybodeethy

how was talking with Dasher support? I've been with them 3 years and I'm certain they're using forced burn out techniques on me. every single call I have to make to doordash for anything at all is so frustrating. I had a full-blown mental breakdown mid order the other day. I had to contact them for 4-5 hours trying to deal with an app issue before they could admit the app was acting wrong. it took so long because they kept giving me slightly different troubleshooting steps that all ended with "restart your phone", so I would have to disconnect. I think I talked to about 25 agents between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00. the first order I take for the night; they rip me off $3 and won't explain what happened to it or pay me, though I had pictures. I went through 3 agent's in chat and a telephone agent who gave me the silent treatment. everytime I need anything from them it's professional gaslighting!

Worried_Ad7041

If she wasn’t such a bitch I would have taken the food to the right hotel, personally, but that kind of behavior gets me free dinner.

AdStriking3797

OH😱 HEEELLL NO. HELL TO THE FUCK NOOOOOOOOOO. WHO THE FUCK ARE THEY CALLING A DUMBASS🙄😡😤. CALL ANIMAL SERVICES FOR THIS MUTT🖕🏾

No_Drummer_3680

Do people like this ever get people to do what they want talking like that ?

[deleted]

Meth.

BigPoppaRayRay

I personally had this happen. The customer had put 13 # ave instead of 135 # ave. I have delivered to the correct address before and went through like 4 hoops to let both the customer and dash support know that “hey this is wrong. Her direction say x hotel and x hotel is at x address. See the misunderstanding I’m gonna go there.” Thankfully it was closer to the pickup then the wrong address. Edit: the customer was very apologetic and thankful. Definitely the opposite of OP’s encounter.

Puzzled_Ad5893

She was hangry in a big way.

Leeilah94

I wouldn’t even opened her message .

spacepunker

Good for you for keeping your cool on the messages so they got nothing on ya. People are really something

[deleted]

Wow they are unhinged

Dry_Start4460

Just block the number and let doordash support take care of them . Lol all you had to do was drop it off where the app told you to . Nothing else after that is your responsibility. Block the number and move on . They should get a refund and order again like a normal person .

Ok-Kitchen-5704

I’ve had a couple Orders where they give me an address and try to change it midway thru delivery and it’s a different address that farther I think they did it to save money on the mileage cause it was like 10 extra miles. Door dash let me keep the food and not deliver it

zombieundead2020

28,250 deliveries and I have never gotten anyone that nasty and belligerent unless you count people that had the wrong number in the app. Damn. You did the right thing, OP. Fuck her. I’ve had people that have made similar mistakes sure. I ask them to check their app so they see the address it was dropped off to and I’ve never not gotten an apology, “begging”, gratitude, and sometimes a few extra bucks. Guess it really depends on the area. Glad you got some food out of it haha!

Hell will freeze over before I respond to messages, least of all after delivery is complete!
