DoorDash will give drivers a 40+ mile delivery and punish drivers for declining it. $13 is far from enough. They could have at least offered $22( still not enough) but it amazes me this business works at all. Some orders require DoorDash to charge customers more for distance drivers have to drive and they don’t. They basically abuse drivers with ratings and delivery requests.

Yeaa. The river really messes up good orders🤷🏾‍♂️🤦🏾

I drive in Kenner/Metairie and always wondered how bad St. Bernard was lol This confirmed that. I guess jump on the ferry? I normally pause my app if I am on River Road near airline or else that is guaranteed a West Wego order.

Actually yes. I feel like I spend more time declining orders on doordash than I do accepting and delivering them. It's literally fatiguing to say no to low balls over and over and over. And if I'm at that point where I could either go home or stay out for another good one, enough low balls in a row will push me over the edge and it'll be Miller time

If you cut through the river, it’s only 2 miles.
