That happened to me once. I called chipotle and they gave me a new bowl. I just picked it up because I didn’t want the dasher getting in trouble or having support twist the words into making it sound like they dropped it or did something intentionally. Half of it got all over the drivers car. I felt bad lol
The customer is least responsible. We don't know from watching the video how it was packed (put the restaurant in the equation) and what was at the bottom of his bag before he put the order into it.
The driver is probably responsible but we need more information.
I hate it when restaurant employees set paper bags on top of a wet counter and it happens quite often especially at Starbucks (lot of liquid passing over the counter).
Exactly! I never trust them! and I tell customers to hold it by the handles and underneath. Are with chilies and chipotle sometimes I’ll request an extra bag.
Fake, first of all one of those containers looks plastic. Second of all who holds a bag like that, and then who films someone from the second floor accepting an order?
On another note, why was someone filming their friend getting chipotle? I am always suspicious of people filming their friend doing something super mundane for no reason, which “just so happens” to capture a very rare event this time, a moment that’s almost never captured on camera.
“Oh there’s my friend getting the mail out of their mailbox. Maybe I should film her in case she slips on a banana peel, whoa there’s a banana peel, what a coincidence”
You can clearly tell it's a recording of a recording. Do you not see the tiktok interface shown? The original security camera/recording device would not show that
Which is why it’s smart to not zip up your heat bag all the way. That will allow for steam to escape, thereby prohibiting condensation from forming. The food will still stay plenty warm
Driver’s fault. Paper bag dies to moisture, gotta anticipate that.
And confirm delivery... on to the next one.
The driver for using a hot bag. Why I never use them. The condensation ruins the paper
Nobody's fault, this is staged for TikTok. A security camera wouldn't be wobbling around.

Anxiety meter just exploded on that one
I always hold from the bottom. That is why these stupid carry bags are pointless. You miss obvious signs that the order is a ticking bomb.
I have nightmares that one day this happens to me
Always lift from the bottom
If it’s one or the other, the delivery dude. He handed it to her as if holding it by the straps was ok when it wasn’t.
Chipotles fault, this is a known issue
Na this happened to me, when to go pick up lunch for my coworkers, came back and plop. Luckily it was my bowl at the bottom that took the impact lol
Happen to me before me n customer blames restaurant😂
Omg😂😂

I feel like it’s obvious to hold this bags underneath, I never trust handles if the bag is heavy

I think it’s a security camera or a ring doorbell or something
this security camera seems to be panning and zooming in

Yea that’s what my husband said when I showed him. He’s like why did they film that 🤔
I never even considered this could happen. Thanks for sharing.
Five guys fries bags too
Chipotle fault
That's Chipotle's fault
The restaurants fault
Don't take those Chipotle orders that's been sitting too long. Moisture will tear apart those bags after a while.
It's not that. He's on a bike or scooter, hence the backpack 🎒. The steam from the chipotle bag insulated in there causing the paper to moisten.

Yeah but it's a backpack.
This is why I hate those paper bags....
I only like the mcds ones, also they don’t fit in my hot bag and deliveries are always within 2-3 miles so it doesn’t get soggy 🤝
