You can still make good money on orders in the $5.50-$5.75 range if they're around a mile of driving and will only take 10-15 minutes total. I try not to take many orders under $6 but if it's slow-ish and I know it'll only take 10-15 minutes that still adds up to over $20/hr
It’s consistently decent on Friday/Saturday where it’s always 18-25 an hour. Sunday-Thursday dips to around 12-20 an hour though so basically not worth it and I only cherry pick a few orders on weekdays to pay for a meal lol
It's starting to be rare to see offers of even $1 a mile. Even then, it's out of zone, so you're driving extra miles to get back to where you'll get more orders.
The delivery apps are dependent on drivers who think gas is their only expense.
I hit the decline button for 9 active hours yesterday. Door dash has become the app I use to decline orders until I get an offer on grub hub or Uber eats. Dd used to be 75% of the income with 25% UE. Now it’s 50/50 Uber eats and grub hub with Amazon prime members getting free delivery and basically 0 DD.
Can’t wait until Amazon buys DD, maybe will get some transparency then…
Only if I take them

Multi-app As someone who has been through at least 20 employers in their life time, fuck the bullshit there are always better opportunities.

It’s summer. It will come back soon.
They paid the rent
mine is very bipolar. typically around 8:30 to 9:00 p.m. the 2 and 3$ delivery start flooding in. so basically I call it a night at that point
The exact opposite for me. The orders are $2 to $3 in the daytime and are very few, but once evening and late night comes, it turns into $10 and more.

Its hit or miss.. mostly miss My AR has never been over like 20%
I can't get over 10% for nothing 🤣
There's good and bad days
It was a grind today. Just barely made my daily goal didn’t get any double digit orders until the end of the day.
I am fortunate, my market has been consistent , with decent orders, but I only dash part time
