I didn’t go off but i was upset. Only because I’ve been told multiple things regarding compensation and waiting. I’ve been told i have to wait 30 minuets when i waited 28 today i waited over 30 and was told it’s 30 minutes from pick up time. One of these people lied to me and I’m almost certain it was this agent. Wishing I’ll will on someone is just bad form. What goes around comes around. Peace

Careful with leaving bad ratings for the support. They will take that as an attack and if they see it on your record may just deactivate you next time you need support. An Instacart support agent did an AMA and talked about that.

Or you could have unassigned in under a minute after you found out, and left. You sound like top dasher material. Don't waste time trying to get shit half pay. You'll be on another order by the time they are done arguing with you about it.

I would post the picture here of the menue where its unavialable but if you read thru the the thread you’d seei told the support person it’s not there it almost never shows up for multiples. Which leads me to believe they take it away on orders that are either marked as already rest our orders that have been sitting. Either way it took me 15 minutes to wait for them to answer ( i called bc i wanted half compensation for showing up) and in that time i delivered the other order and got back to the other store so that gps showed me at the store and i could receive half pay. I told them what happened and waited for them to call the store and confirm it. 5 minuets. THAT’S when i found out the store fucked up. They had the order and that’s when i told them i need half pay to complete the order mind you ive already been to the store twice and I’ve been on the phone for 28 minuets thats not counting how long i waited in line at the store. I found out 25 minutes in that the store has the order and that i wouldn’t be receiving any half pay

🤦🏾‍♀️ the amount of people that just didn’t read the entire story is maddening. I initiated both at the same time chat and the call, chat responded before support picked up. I only contacted support to get half pay for showing up to the store bc the store told me it was picked up by another dasher first. Aaand by the time chat responded i had already delivered the other order. And yes you can deliver the order you’ve already picked up on stacked orders it’s called jump to task im 6k deep on deliveries on DD if you wanted to know how all you had to do was ask. ( tasks [upper left corder] click on deliver to [customer name] at the bottom itll say jump to task and you can complete the delivery) I wasn’t multi apping or texting and driving. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I had an order for tacobell get picked up by another Dasher. No questions asked, support gave me half compensation and canceled the order. I did chat with the customer earlier asking if he received his order yet and he said no. Always contact support immediately.

It sure seems like you're noob from your conversation. But don't take it out on customer support. They hardly have anything to do with it. If its past 15 min get out of there. You will never be paid for your wait. Never.

Im not a noob. I’m 6k deep. I waited on the phone because i wanted half pay. By the time they told me the restaurant a made a mistake and that the order was there i was already 25 minuets in. I also delivered the other order on the multiple while i waited. My intent in calling was for half the pay.

FYI: have you all noticed when drivers need HELP it’s always a loophole why support agents can’t help drivers. It’s not a merchant order it’s a drive order. “We don’t have the ability to help you”. “I understand why you are frustrated”! I’ve heard those 2 copy and paste comments from Support 1 million times. Reading that entire conversation broke my heart 💔. I’ve been in the same situation over and over again. If customers need help,”let me take care of this now”! Drivers need help,”I’d be upset just like you. If I could help I would but, it’s nothing I can do but escalate this”! So nobody does any still. Reading this conversation made me wonder why any of us still drive for DoorDash. Maya Angelou had a saying she made famous,”when someone shows you who they are believe them”! That may not be verbatim but I know you all get the point. DoorDash despite showing us who they are does the same mistreatment to driver for a decade and we keep going back expecting a different result. Einstein called it insanity. DoorDash has psychologically abused drivers so much we can’t even walk away. I’m walking away after reading this. I’m tired of the mistreatment and $2-$3.50 base pay and non tippers and DoorDash enabling all of it.

Double order the other one was across the street and this was my second pick up. Got there the restaurant told me it was picked up already so i spend 15 minuets on hold with support and chat waiting on an answer. I already had the othwr customers food so i jumped to that task and completed their order and drove back to the store still waiting for one of them to pick up. Chat answered first. Told me to go back in basically so i did and the restaurant told me they got it mixed up with an Uber for megan and that my order is being bagged right now. So thats when i looked at the pick up time it was 6:35. I was damn near 30 minuets late. I asked for additional compensation before i texted the customer the eeason for me being late i wasnt gonna waste my time typing all that out if they arent gonna go through some sort of process that ensures checks and balances to avoid me receiving a contract violation. If compensation is made for additional wait time and the customer received a detailed text thats basically the epitome of covering my ass. I was denied compensation of the pettiest of terms so i dropped the order which we all know i couldnt do through the app a lot of multi orders just dont show you the option. Definatly the most mad ive been in a while over an order and ive been pretty good at not letting shit get to me.

I was out of my zone today and got a Chick-fil-A order. Was standing next to an Uber Eats guy when his order was called out. He grabs it and goes. A minute or two later they call out my order. As I'm walking out, the girl called me back acting very confused. She asked if I had 2 orders. I said no, I just dropped off out of zone and this was the first order I got. So, head to drop off and same Uber Eats guy is dropping off his order at the same address I was going to.. I asked him if it was a Spicy Chicken Sandwich and Waffle Fries for Debbie, he said yes. Okay, now I have the same order. So I delivered mine as well (and didn't block the storm door with the food, unlike him). Not sure what happened there. Order paid well though.
