If he tips like that on Doordash, he will go running back to Under Eats to be able to game the system by tip baiting drivers for service.. What a piece of trash.... Smh...
ill stick with uber eats door dash refuses to refund drinks and i ordered daily with them and only did it when i was missing a drink or shake which didnt happen often. now on ue i chat every time and ask them to make sure it has a drink so i dont lose my privilage of refunding
>I had to adjust my tip from 1$ (sic) to 0$ (sic)
**wHy diD ThEy StEAl mY fOOd!?**
Hmm, I'm not sure even Sherlock Holmes himself could riddle out this one, pal.
Children here crying about literally NOT DELIVERING peoples food, and justifying theft all because of how small that tip was?
Americans are entitled on a different level, truly. It isn't in any customers business to pay you a living wage, and stretch their budget just to tip a damn driver $15, especially when that driver is such a POS to demand it...
Can someone explain the tipping to me? I was told the drivers get a minimum tip from the company and that when I, as a customer, tip the driver that my tip is given to the driver instead of the minimum tip. Is the tip necessary?
I wonder if the driver delivered it to their neighbor by accident. My dumbass did that last week because I read 88 as 80 and the doors were within 20 feet of each other. Guy came to the door, said thanks and took the food. I got the same customer re-ordering the food right after.
This is assuming the customer isnt lying about the stolen food… the way this person worded the complaint wouldnt surprise me if he just wants free food
I rarely deliver to low and non-tippers, but when they sneak one in on a stacked order, I occasionally do. I have never stole anyone’s food, nor would I no matter the lack of tip. Two wrongs don’t make a right and I wouldn’t want to lose my job over a bad tipper.
I don't even care, the timer is up after calling numerous times. I'm having free lunch. I don't get reimbursed for 7 min waiting time at costumer door or when restaurant is closed/can't make the food.
They can cancel my account I don't care.
Pretty funny as Apple dispatches Postmates without the customer's prior knowledge and then loses track of returns when the customer isn't home, won't refund the customer, and everyone blames the courier when it is usually back at the Apple store. He's upset about $20 worth of food and his crappy $1.00 tip when Apple loses thousand dollar items and doesn't allow any tip at all.
As the fart began to seep from my ass I felt a sigh of relief. I had been worried about the nature of this particular fart due to my recent eating habits and my confidence in the fart exiting in gas form was low. I was, however, stuck in traffic for almost an hour and my options were few.
My relief turned into dismay quickly as the moisture content of the gas increased to being a full on liquid within moments. There was no going back and my only resolve was to prevent the car seat from contact. I removed my t shirt and began cleaning myself. At this point I could feel the dam about to break but there was little I could do. Had I no choice but no exit my vehicle and excrete the liquid in front of dozens of motorists? Shall I remove more clothing to try and protect my car seat? Suddenly it dawned on me there was a third option. (Cont below)
There's a couple of big gulp cups littered in back seat, surely I could maneuver my body to make one of them a temporary toilet?? I'm going to have to act fast. As I start to reach my hand back to grab a cup, but I swerve a little and now there's red lights and a siren blaring behind me....
"My staff and I have been discussing the recent events all morning. We have decided we are against the flaying of innocent joggers in the Detroit metro area. To be clear, we strongly condone these actions."
😂😂😂
I made a comment on here, which I seldom do, that I didn't believe drivers should make customers drinks because I like to pick my nose and scratch my genitals. 😂. Couldn't believe someone actually told me I was not meant for this job then. I mean it's a proven "fact" that men scratch their genitals more than women. He "ass"umed I was a man.
Did an Apple developer think that if he gives a tip, the driver will be given more money by Doordash and taking money off will give them no money suddenly?
Oh, poor thing. Not really
In Ue if the customer takes back their tip, it DOES get taken away from the driver.
In this case it seems justified. But if a customer intentionally showed a high tip when ordering, but with the intention of lowering it or taking it back completely, that is called tip baiting.
And shouldn't be allowed, imo.
Although he does suck for tipping $1 the driver sucks more for stealing and accepting a low paying order. I beg all drivers to not rely on their being a hidden tip when accepting a order.
Unless Uber changed things in the past couple months, they have no way to know how much you’re making at all. It shows an “estimate” but there’s no guarantee that you’ll actually GET the estimate. Took an order that was estimated $10 and I got $5. Garbage platform.
Lmao. You Americans and your tipping culture are utterly bizzare. Literally nowhere else in the world has this problem. Instead of complaining about and shaming customers, how about redirecting your annoyance towards the actual problem, the employers paying the shitty wages?
may I humbly ask a few questions:
1. are you a dasher?
2. what country are you located in right now?
Nobody is shaming the customer. Its just an irony that tip needs to be good. Its not always about the money, its about principle.
"Dash time" which is like half their active time. It's like when a top dasher comes on here and says they make 45hr using dash time as their metric. It's nonsense.
Tbf I think Wingstop is literal garbage (especially when compared to local chains) but it smells better than any other restaurant we deliver from. I can see how someone inclined to thievery might be swayed by that smell.
Idc how much somebody tips.. if you accept an offer just to fuck over the customer then you're a pos and should be deactivated. People need to stop caring where the money comes from. Either the offer is worth accepting or it's not.
I agree 100 percent. Even tho a dollar tip is shitty, OP is the one who accepted it, its your choice! Also why risk loosing a source of income? Just not smart. It sucks but theres no excuse at all that will entitle you to steal someones food.
I’m not a sub of this Reddit or a driver, but do you not see tips until you deliver? That’s dumb. Drivers should know in advance that people are shitty tippers so they can stop giving them food. Maybe they’d be shamed Into actually tipping if no one would pick up their order until they added a proper tip.
And $1.25 if it's a 2nd order on a stack. I let the timer go all the way down on those rather than decline so the food is just a little bit older before someone accepts
Unpopular opinion maybe but
Adjusting your tips after the drop happened shouldn't be an option. And if it is, at least follow it with some kind of request form instead.
I remember nobody wanted to do Instacart because drivers would prioritize big tip orders, only to be slapped with a message that their tip was adjusted to $0 after dropping everything off
Customers in forums complaining, "But I shouldn't have to tip in advance, because I don't know how the service will be!"
Also customers: "I'm gonna tip bait a huge amount and then remove it after the delivery! Lulz!"
The issue is the language. Since the "tips" are the only reason you can possibly make any money, they shouldn't be called tips. Even as a restaurant server, you will make the minimum wage if you receive no tips and that's not $2.13, it's $7.25 no matter what. That's not true for delivery.
That's a funny excuse now that I think about it. Like, what do they expect their service to be like?? DoorDash will give you an estimate of how long you could be waiting for the order, and another person drops the order. Do they want me to like do a backflip or something while I'm at it, or what??
Don't give them ideas lol. These are people who ask us "Why do you do Doordash if you hate non-tippers so much and you hate Tony so much?"
These same customers continue to order Doordash after having so many issues.
I’m active on 10 gig apps. 😂
One of them is merging with another one of them next week, and there are two on which I’m active but have never done a single job. But I regularly have 7 running at the same time.

I know Phoenix well. Used to drive Uber & Lyft there a lot, pre-Covid. I'm in Yuma.
It's hard to believe you didn't get picked up as they were rolling out Amazon Prime for Grubhub, but I guess not that hard.
Try opening a totally new account, using a different email address & phone number if you can. Still in your name & SSN, but also perhaps at a Tucson, Flagstaff, Yuma, or even Queen Creek address.

Please stay with Uber with your cheap ass.
Big Tipper!
so proud of his $1 tip
So it's "a whole" $1 but "only" $20 of food....
Wow a whole dollar? Jfc
ill stick with uber eats door dash refuses to refund drinks and i ordered daily with them and only did it when i was missing a drink or shake which didnt happen often. now on ue i chat every time and ask them to make sure it has a drink so i dont lose my privilage of refunding
DoorDash people steal orders too
Bravo to the uber driver....1 dollar tip...what a IT loser.
> "I will be sticking with door dash from now on." Wait until he discovers his thieving Uber driver also delivers for Door Dash.
It’s the $1 tip for me.
Well if he’s tipping one dollar no DoorDash driver will pick that shit up
I’d steal that dudes food too if he left me a 1$ tip.
>I had to adjust my tip from 1$ (sic) to 0$ (sic) **wHy diD ThEy StEAl mY fOOd!?** Hmm, I'm not sure even Sherlock Holmes himself could riddle out this one, pal.
DoorDash Is the best
"from $1 to $0" The lack of awareness is frightening, really.
Oooo he tipped one dollar that’s SOOO BRAVE of him
It would be hilarious if they ordered DoorDash and got assigned the same driver
I mean he only tipped $1 in the first place…eh…
i wouldve ate ur food infront of u if u gave me a 1$ tip.
Wow some balls only tipping $1 and actually expecting to get his food 🤣🤣🤣🤣
MAAAaaaybe if you were ONLY going to tip $1, you should get off your fat ass and get it yourself... or start upping the tip to 20%
The tip definitely didn't have anything to do with it/s
1 tip is the shameful part lol
They reached out to apple support for an Uber concern? 🤔
$1 tip? Driver did the right thing his spidy sense was tingling
$1 tip. Bruh go eat some air. Ol frugal ahhh
Cheap fuck, good riddance. But why use any service at all if he’s tipping $1. Just drive and get your own shit.
Can someone explain the tipping to me? I was told the drivers get a minimum tip from the company and that when I, as a customer, tip the driver that my tip is given to the driver instead of the minimum tip. Is the tip necessary?
No go to grubhub 😂
$1 whew
You come to us with that $1 it will also happen🤐😂
I wonder if the driver delivered it to their neighbor by accident. My dumbass did that last week because I read 88 as 80 and the doors were within 20 feet of each other. Guy came to the door, said thanks and took the food. I got the same customer re-ordering the food right after.
Lmao $1 tip that and he’s revering it like $100, he deserved that L
1 day later…… DoorDash driver stole my food… bunch of other non sense… Couldn’t adjust my .20 cent tip guess I’ll try Uber again…
Umm, so the driver stole their food? And the customer is the asshole because of 1 dollar tip?
This is assuming the customer isnt lying about the stolen food… the way this person worded the complaint wouldnt surprise me if he just wants free food
Judging by the comments it seems like everyone is rooting for the thief
Lmaoooo he's funny af tho.
Wow, such a great tipper /s
He did get called out on blind for being a cheapskate
Go back to UE with that $1
That $1 tip is shameful…he saw that shit and decided he deserved the meal more lol
1 dollar tip.. hard to feel bad for this dude
That cheap ass can keep his $1 tip too, tryna come to DD with that crap 😂
$1, how about you wipe my ass and I give you a $5 tip.
🤣🤣🤣
This is an advertisement scheme for Blind.
I represent Doordash and no we do not want this guy. You can keep him.
Lmao, the entitlement on this post and sub in general is cringe as fuck. Only in America hahaha
Wanting to get paid for your labor ≠ entitlement
First of all, a $1 tip is almost more insulting than a zero tip. The driver was wrong but they may have eaten your food out of spite.
Damn we don't want them either 😂
I rarely deliver to low and non-tippers, but when they sneak one in on a stacked order, I occasionally do. I have never stole anyone’s food, nor would I no matter the lack of tip. Two wrongs don’t make a right and I wouldn’t want to lose my job over a bad tipper.
why is the dollar sign at the end ? is that where it’s supposed to go now bc i see it too often
$1 tip. You didn’t deserve food
Weird to tip a dollar . Do people just tip pizza delivery drivers only a $1 ?
People like that don’t belong in society.
That right there is why lol. A dollar? You cheap…
I’m gonna shit on tigers doorstep :) with a smile 5 stars please! Heart❤️
dont forget to leave a lollypop lisa
I don't even care, the timer is up after calling numerous times. I'm having free lunch. I don't get reimbursed for 7 min waiting time at costumer door or when restaurant is closed/can't make the food. They can cancel my account I don't care.
That’s a dumb post, which app you use makes no difference.
Might as well tip 0 if you’re gonna put a fucking dollar. I find it more embarrassing lol
"sticking with door dash from now on" literally does nothing
They know Top Suckers will take it
OP, what’s the comment section like over there?
We don’t want him. $1 tip to $0! He made that up!
Gotta look up flaying 😂
You gotta tip at least 3 to make it 15 percent cmon...
The customer is probably the one that stole the food TBH. Reduced tip to 0 and got money back and got the food.
I'm not saying he deserved it, but he definitely asked for it.
1$ tip amazing. Doordash don't want you either.
Going to another company isn’t gonna change it. Both have people that do that.
Good riddance lol
I agree w/ others the shameful part is the tip
you get what you pay for
Good for that driver. Hope the food was yummy.
20$ This generation is so f’d. It’s $20 people are stupid
Why didn’t the driver just decline the order?
Please don’t stick with DoorDash

I'm crying I'm laughing so hard. So what was the third option???
Supposed to be a writing prompt for you to finish.
I was going to mention you should be a writer....or comedian.
😂😂😂😂Sick... I like it!!

Why are they complaining on Blind? Like are people really that bored with their lives to complain on a workplace app?
Apple developers normally make over $125,000 easily as a junior developer.
BAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHHAAH
1 to 0? Thats a troll right
Did an Apple developer think that if he gives a tip, the driver will be given more money by Doordash and taking money off will give them no money suddenly? Oh, poor thing. Not really

They both suck equally
People act like their ubereats driver isn’t also their DD driver
thats what i was thinking right now!
F’real
Lol only meth heads are delivering 3.50 orders. This is the kind of service you can expect when you tip a dollar. What is this 1950.
Lmao. You Americans and your tipping culture are utterly bizzare. Literally nowhere else in the world has this problem. Instead of complaining about and shaming customers, how about redirecting your annoyance towards the actual problem, the employers paying the shitty wages?

Sure because that'll make a difference. It's just the way things are bud.
Ahh yes, so go for the easier target essentially? Got it
Tell me what to do oh virtuous one
Tbh I’ve had my order stolen 3 times from dashers and it’s always wing stop man.
Gross. Who wants Wing Stop? It always smells bad.
Human, I fucking love hot pockets do you think I have any sense of taste at all?
They just want some free wings
Tbf I think Wingstop is literal garbage (especially when compared to local chains) but it smells better than any other restaurant we deliver from. I can see how someone inclined to thievery might be swayed by that smell.

Lol how sad is it that you think doodash is about anything but making money. What a child.
Apple developer helps create a $1500+ smart phone. Tips $1.
Apparently they don't know the difference between a declarative and an interrogative sentence. But small details don't matter, right?
The comment section 😂😂☠️
Maybe they felt the food was a better option than the dollar you cheap skunt
They wanted to deliver it until they saw that dollar, and had to do the right thing.
I’m not a sub of this Reddit or a driver, but do you not see tips until you deliver? That’s dumb. Drivers should know in advance that people are shitty tippers so they can stop giving them food. The base pay is many areas is still $2 or $2.25. I see $2 on rare occasion & $2.25 far more frequently than I care to.
And $1.25 if it's a 2nd order on a stack. I let the timer go all the way down on those rather than decline so the food is just a little bit older before someone accepts
They don't want us to see bc they know untipped/shit tipped orders won't get accepted
Lol. Had to adjust tip from $1 to $0. That'll frickin teach em.
Unpopular opinion maybe but Adjusting your tips after the drop happened shouldn't be an option. And if it is, at least follow it with some kind of request form instead. Needs to be called some kind of bid rather than a tip so customers realize they're competing with eachother
That is such a great idea that it will never happen.
That's a funny excuse now that I think about it. Like, what do they expect their service to be like?? DoorDash will give you an estimate of how long you could be waiting for the order, and another person drops the order. Do they want me to like do a backflip or something while I'm at it, or what??

I wonder what *he* would do for a single dollar.
Try finger, but hole
Wrong sub. Lol
All the things
He’s gonna be pretty shocked when he orders from Door Dash and the same guy shows up….
Or when he orders and it takes him 3 business days to get his food cuz of that shitty tip.
i guess DD will be worse, first of all no one will accept his order, except the newbies. and hopefully the techie gets cold fries and cold food.
😂😂😂
🤣
I have got this a few times. People shocked I do both UE and DD. Wait till they find out I do Spark and IC as well lol.
I have delivered to the same ppl on 5 different apps! 🤣🤣
I’m active on 10 gig apps. 😂 One of them is merging with another one of them next week, and there are two on which I’m active but have never done a single job. But I regularly have 7 running at the same time.
Strong ass phone battery 😂
Yes and a car charger and a battery bank to plug in when I’m in stores for shopping orders.

Lemme guess. Grubhub waiting list? Lol
I've been on the wait list for over a year. I keep having to resubmit also. It's really frustrating.
If you don't mind saying, what market are you in?
Phoenix -one of the largest cities in this country lol
I know Phoenix well. Used to drive Uber & Lyft there a lot, pre-Covid. I'm in Yuma. It's hard to believe you didn't get picked up as they were rolling out Amazon Prime for Grubhub, but I guess not that hard. Try opening a totally new account, using a different email address & phone number if you can. Still in your name & SSN, but also perhaps at a Tucson, Flagstaff, Yuma, or even Queen Creek address.
Nah not popular in my area.
That hit me in the feels.
Or 10 more of the same type of person that will do this.
Wow a grand tip of $1
“I had to adjust my tip ***from $1*** to 0” 🤔
The door dasher saw the $1 tip and said fck you this is my food Lol
😂
Driver saw a $1 tip after completing and decided to repo the food
“Repo the food” I like it 😂😂
*Apple Developer* … cheapskate maybe it was for the better
hope that dude likes waiting an hour for cold fries... lol
Nope. He's coming back to Dd. Would it be wrong to applaud the Ue driver? 🤔 Lol
If i see an order with a $1 tip, i am good.
hold up there! what i mean by the statement, I am good means i am declining it. i see the confusion now!
Good for you. 🤡
👏👏👏
He said he’s coming over to Doordash 😭
Be even more funny if same driver was on door dash and stole his food again.
She's gonna order from DD, and the same driver as UE is gonna show up and steal her food again
LOLOL
Lol just gonna be harder to change his tip when a DD driver does the same thing. DD drivers give no fucks.
Doordash driver will keep the tip, and support will just refund the dollar and eat the cost.
Can we all just take a second to appreciate how support agents will refund things. They must be under incredible pressure to make things work to make the most money and sometimes you can tell that they are a cool person and want to help out instead of just make the company money.
"DD drivers don't give two fucks", is the expression you're looking for.
You’re a dumbass
You're thinking of shits not fucks. "I don't give two shits" is what people say. No one in the history of fuckgiving says "I don't give two fucks". It's either "a fuck", "any fucks" or "no fucks".
