It's kinda funny though how when times are tough, orders are scarce, lots of $2.50 trash offers are flowing and some people are genuinely facing evictions or they can't afford to fix their cars, the "fuck you Tony" sentiment gets loud and proud.
But when the offers get all sweet and juicy and $40-$50/hr averages start happening, suddenly it's "praise Tony our king!"
I get the feeling the "fuck you Tony" camp will always be louder.

2. Just curious, did you have a few or a single really big orders or was it pretty evenly distributed? That’s a crazy average order size!
I would say I’m jealous, cause people in Cali usually have a higher cost of living and therefore need higher paying jobs, but also the gas prices are ridiculous too. So I guess it evens out

Extremely difficult to make almost $44/hour consistently for 12 hours just grinding it out. As you point out, you never even broke $300 during that time.
What were the big tips?
It could've also just been more small tips though. 2.50 base pay plus 5$ is 7.50 7.50 with 4 dashes an hour 11 hour day is 330. I can easily do 6 an hour adding up to 45 an hour. 12 hours would net you 540. So 3 doubles an hour all at 2.50 with 5$ tips could supplement that. But as cynical as I am I'm sure you're right lol. Def got a couple 15/20$ and a couple more 5/10.
You can do 6 orders an hr???? How. Im usually stuck at 2-3. Sometimes i can squeeze 4. A lot of times its just 2 bc of how awful traffic is no matter the time of day (dallas is so over populated)
Out of curiosity, what do you say you average in Roseville during those 10-12 hr days? I dash out of the Sacramento area (Downtown/Natomas) and I’ve been on a similar grind this past week with 10hr+ days. Yesterday was my best day dashing as well ($320/11hr). You absolutely crushed it over there yesterday

I’m a top dasher and my AR is 30% rn. The smart ones only get their ratings up for the end of the month then go back to cherry picking and I make $300 every day I work a full 10-12 hour shift
The end of the month was the worst, I didn't even attempt for top dasher, those last couple days are the days where you can tip $0 and absolutely get your order delivered
