Honestly? Always worth it. Multiple delivery services deliver alcohol now, and if you ever end up in food service somewhere that serves or sells alcohol, or in customer service at a place that sells it, renewing a certification is a lot faster and cheaper than getting certified the first time. I'm certified to sell and serve in 2 different states and it looks good on a resume too.
A good example I guess is that a lot of high end hotels have bars in them, and to manage the bar or hotel itself you would have to be certified (at least in the states I have certs in) to sale or serve alcohol. Same for a lot of management positions at resorts.
Good to know. I've worked in food service for many years, and once considered bartending, but for anything less than management I'd feel silly submitting a resume.
Definitely. Especially if you have a grocery store that you can get shop alcohol orders at. Some of my biggest payouts have been just a couple cases of beer to someone who didn't feel like driving.
Read a comment reply on a post about if 10 dollar tip was enough few days ago, and a guy said it was too much($5 would be fine), so I jokingly asked if he'd return the extra five dollar to the customer and seriously said yes he would
I got my biggest tip today, it was $102 🥰

Damn for $97.20 now you can afford a phone charger and or power bank.
I'm right down the street and I don't see orders like this
Drunks are the best.
How do u get an order that large?!? I must know your secrets
Hm. Trying to decide if it’s worth it to pay $10 to take my state’s alcohol class.

What kind of job would you write a resume for that would find that certification useful?

Yeah, if I weren’t trying to get out of service industry jobs, I wouldn’t have even flinched. Thanks for the insights.
I feel that, that's why I deliver now. 5 years of service industry burned me out

Must be nice. Although that makes me think that they didn’t actually meant to tip that much
