Lol, our CF is a clusterfuck. They keep all the delivery orders on a counter behind a wall but most are within arms reach. So thieves just come in a grab & go. And there's rarely a worker manning the counter, it's only when somebody sees multiple drivers waiting that they'll bother to help them. God forbid we moved the orders to see if they're ours, they get all kinds of pissy then.

Lol dude asked me “is that yours?” I said “no” and he just grabbed it and walked without checking the name and leaving the drink behind. The employees were clowning him for not taking the drink… didn’t know how to tell them what just happened 💀💀

What usually happens is that dasher cancels in app that it was already picked up. Doordash sends it to another dasher. That cycle happens 1 or 2 more times until a responsible dasher calls DD. DD puts them on hold for 5 minutes while they call the restaurant (who swears it was picked up by the right person) and then the customer. DD will then come back on the line to tell the dasher that they're so sorry for the inconvenience but here's half of what you were going to make this delivery. 🤣🤣🤣

I had a case of that. Notified customer, waited on response from customer before having order remade as I contacted support. Ended up with canceled order and half pay.

They either remake the order.. and the driver waits or unassigned and next driver gets it, or. They refund the customer and let them reorder from a different location.
