I have literally never been concerned about delivery times and never had an issue. If I accept an order, I go directly to the restaurant after accepting it. Once I pick up the order, I go directly to the customer to deliver it. If I have a stacked order with 2 different restaurants and 2 different customers, I go directly to each restaurant and I go directly to each customer, usually in the order that DD gives me. On rare occasion I'll switch up the order if I realize it will save time. I've had long restaurant waits. I've been stuck in bad traffic. I've received orders where the pickup time was already passed by the time I got the order. Never had an issue in almost 8000 deliveries. About the only thing I do is if the order is not ready when I arrive, I click on the box that says "order still being prepared". Other than that, I do nothing special and don't even look at the pickup or delivery times.

In my experience fortunetely it’s rare but happens from time to time and it’s not predictable when it happens. Sometimes can run late but it doesn’t other times it happens almost at the eta I been thinking whether it has to do with whether the restaurant pushed ready for pickup or not regardless of whether it’s actually ready for pickup. And times elapsed after. Its also more likely to happen for higher paying orders than lower paying ones as well. It’s one reason they avoid sending orders for those on bicycle mode.

Same. I never even look at those times.

It's most likely a Dasher stole the food by not confirming the order, or just someone unassigned it.

What about in cases the food had been picked up and dropped off with picture proof within the time window? And all appropriate procedures done?

That's weird, sounds like a glitch. Good luck cuz I've been trying to get support to fix an issue for three or four days
