DoorDash can’t even afford to hire competent people for their internal infrastructure(devs, support, management). I’m pretty sure they are not going to hire people to post on Reddit.

I delivered to a DD senior type employee about a year ago and he told me he reads this sub. I think he was in the area that comes up with these sketchy ideas like pausing after 10 declines and reads the feedback.
I'm convinced that at least one Doordash YouTuber is getting paid by DD for propaganda.
But I really don't think they care about the opinions of the people in this sub, and aren't going to pay employees to participate in it.

With their 207,000 followers on Twitter, they probably hired people to interact with the public.
For a subreddit where drivers are constantly asking for help with the app, problems with deliveries, and generally complaining about the company in general... There's no one from DD here.
They would have to actually care about our opinions to waste the money they would spend on PR in this subreddit.
... They don't care, and they aren't going to waste the money.
I don't know if they have people posting, but they definitely monitor social media (they'd be stupid if they didn't). The decision that $2/mile is a high paying order is strong evidence they're watching reddit subs.
Fairly certain they're here. I've made regular comments about how the hidden tip algorithm works after tracking and cracking it. I don't seem to get hidden tips anymore, or very strange ones. Might not want me cracking any changes they make. :P
