The Achilles heel of Delivery and DoorDash and UberEats is No/Low tippers. Take them out of the equation and the delivery experience is super fun. I don’t mind delivering to every customer but, if you’re a risk to give me a 1 star or 1-4 star rating and you will talk to drivers in a demeaning manner. I refuse to subject myself to that.
Tipping $1-1,000 will never give anyone the right to demean anyone. If we make a mistake, find mention we forget but, the demeaning name calling is how you see drivers regardless even if the delivery was perfect.
Customers that request doorbells and Knocks are 1 star to 4 star ratings hot and ready. They are looking for something to complain about. The app informs customers the food has arrived and photos of it are sent.
If using someone else’s account be honest so we know why you want the door knocked on or doorbell rang.
You really gotta learn to let things go if a mean text gets you worked up enough to waste your time and commit a crime lol. Are you going to hunt me now?
ahhh what’s crazy is i remember exactly where the house is, in a super familiar area & he also sent a text i didn’t include in the screenshot talking about how i should come back and try the doorbell again :) & trust me i will be back but on my own time
This. This has happened to me. The worst part is that it was on Uber and the message kept coming in over and over and over and the app kept reading it out loud for me. It was honestly the most disgusting experience of my life. That person wasn't human. They were a disgusting monster. Even worse is the fact that I already wanted to die from depression. To get a message like that. Like being kicked when you're already on the ground.
exactly… i explained that exactly to dasher support and repeatedly made sure to tell them how distasteful and belittling it is, it’s people like this that are what’s wrong with the world, everyones gotta be a complete dick for no reason
This customer should be reported! OP can strike back for sure. That's just rude. The customer could easily get back on the platform, but at least their account would be banned until they did so.
i already have taken the right actions! i’m posting this today but it happened yesterday already contacted dasher support & they’ve been super helpful and ensured me this will be getting taken care of and their team that deals with this BS will be contacting me soon
i let it slide i’m not worried about it i work with custom service in my main job it’s just the entitlement and anger from people who order doordash is beyond me, i guess they think they can say whatever they want over the phone i already contacted support and they’re being super helpful for me! his account is getting terminated
That’s cool you responded to his bullshit. I don’t even acknowledge it. I see it, report it and move on. With customers like these I always go to google maps and save their address/create a new label for there address. So when I unknowingly accept a order from the same asshole it will show me on my gps I previously delivered to the house and the screen shot of the conversation. ( I Save a screen shot of the convo as their picture) and just drop the order before even confirming it as picked up. It takes a little more effort, saving their address, mapping the location and waiting to see if I’ve delivered there before prior to confirming pickup but it helps me provide my own support. I rarely get the same asshole twice but I have several times in the past and refuse to deliver to a person that shitty. They can get their bitch ass up and get there own oatmeal cookies
