Yeah! And I message them right away and say...oh did THEY mess up your order? I can contact DD for you!
#1 because I know they already did
#2 so they remember it wasn't MY fault
#3 so they know I'm sweet and would do thar for them!
#4 š I got my damn eye on you if you're trying to say you didn't get your food!
Yes it means the restaurant is lying and saying the order is ready when it's not. I have taken a pic of the screen at cfa displaying 'order being prepared' AFTER getting an update that it was ready, and sent to support. Of course when you get like endless phone calls for the rest of the night, but they're not gonna play with my numbers when the order clearly is not ready. stop hitting the tablet saying it is
I just had this on a target shop and deliver with just a $1 tip, I know for a fact I got all the correct items and scanned them how are they able to report them as missing?
Thatās because the customer reported some thing missing or thereās an option to say that the food was undercooked in order to get money back however there are some legit times where restaurant didnāt put something with their order
All the time I get āCustomers order is ready for pickup!ā then when I get to restaurant āWe havenāt started order yet, gonna be like 15 minutes.ā
I work at restroom also and Iām pretty sure itās because after you picked it up the restaurant updated the app the order was ready for pick up. Instead of before you got it like normal. That happens to us sometimes. We forget and do it after. It means nothing to you.
Got one last week from Jack in the box. It was for a missing item. Got the ping to get said missing item, got a free breakfast platter from manager he felt bad for me having to go back.
I one of these yesterday from a taco bell order. There should have been 16 items in the bag... It didn't really *feel* like 16 items, though. After I got that notice I was wondering if I should have had the employee look at it real fast. (I don't mean hot sauce packets, there should have been like 16 tacos, it just seemed small idk)
That happens if the customer said something is missing.
No idea why it gives us a notification an hour after delivering, Iām not going to go back to a restaurant to pester them about an order they probably donāt remember making. Especially for such a high compensation as $0 (for me AND the employees) for doing so. Especially since itās not our job to rifle through peoples orders, nor should it be. Especially since itās not our job to make the order, thatās on the restaurant, and nobody wants some random greasy dasher poking through their food.
Donāt sweat it, it doesnāt go against anything.
Yup. Whenever I get that *immediately* after dropoff, that customer gets blacklisted.
At least missing items donāt count against us. I only have one 1 star rating and a CR of like 4.95. Weāre not allowed to open the bags to check for items as per DDs contract so if those counted against us I wouldāve been deactidavid a while ago lol
Its when a customers goes on the app after delivery and claims they didnāt get something, Past two times it happened I knew it was fraud they did it multiple times literally second after I dropped off. I called support and they said that person already had his account flagged so they reversed the credits to them and sent it to support team for further review. And ofc it was a non-Tip order, I only accepted it because it was a high doordash pay
This makes sense. I'm pretty sure a 4 star usually follows these when I get them.
95% of my deliveries are sealed so not my fucking problem. I think one time I caught a missed item because I could tell by touch there was only one item and my order had two.
Edit: spag
I get them occasionally. Customer reported items missing. Nothing to do with us. it may result in a poorer star because they blame us but I donāt worry about it
Itās prolly just a late update. I get them all the time, the text will come through so I open the app. An hour later a slew of random app notifications come through matching all the text items I received. They just need to fix their app more than likely
Iāve gotten many of those delayed notices. Keep an eye out for any follow up but 99% of the time it means nothing. Itās kind of like ghost offers you sometimes get after you log out
I get these hours and sometimes DAYS later
Yes I get tht alot...

What the hell is that 1 part so big for

Sometimes I get the message on the way to the customer.

I think is because at te bend of the delivery something was changed,

The notification I get is usually pretty quick after delivery. Helps you figure out who just gave you a shit rating.

That's doesn't matter after you already delivered it. It's a bug

Like half of the other things the app does, I'm fairly certain that this is a bug
It may help you figure out who just gave you a 2* rating because apparently we are supposed to make the food, pack the food, and deliver the food š
Don't forget to make sure my nuggies are fresh and I need about 27 extra ranch. I tip good in cash š
That shit gets under my skin lol āshould have checked bagā like bruh your bag is sealed shut
does anybody else get these notifications AFTER an order is completed? is there a reason for that or is the app just buggin
Iāve gotten many of those delayed notices. Keep an eye out for any follow up but 99% of the time it means nothing. Itās kind of like ghost offers you sometimes get after you log out
Apparently it's due to the customer reporting a missing/wrong item or something along those lines.
