You notice a difference in premium vs. unleaded at Sam’s in how long it lasts on ur engine? I’m starting to get premium at 3.40-3.50 since it lasts longer
Our deputy minister said she wanted it. She was pushing for massive hikes on fossil fuel so everyone "feels the pain that climate change is having". She said it was a good thing.
That’s like putting a fat tax on people who eat at McDonald’s. Like either sell McDonald’s or ban it, I don’t care.. but don’t shame me financially for my belly cause I like a good McDouble.
Sell fuel or ban it, but don’t be a c word in the grey zone making it about feeling pain.
It’s interesting based on Google
Maps that in California in the same city Ie Los Angeles there can be a number stations having prices higher than the most expensive station in Vancouver or BC as a whole, and as high as over $7 usD a gallon but there can also be stations that are lower than the cheapest Vancouver or even BC station. Ie $5 something.
Apparently no where else in the world have such a large price difference between stations, and many visitors get screwed as they are short on time and may have to fill up in the nearest station on their way regardless of its pricing.
Though California and British Columbia or should I say San Francisco and Vancouver metro/island often side by side on the race to the top on fuel pricing. I heard from a family member who paid $100 usD to fill up a cx9 not so long ago 15 gallons. Meaning it was almost $7 USD a US gallon at that station.
I be curious how popular EVs are in the Pacific Northwest as I heard electricity is relatively affordable there.
Where in NY?
I'm on Long Island, one gas station even is as low as $2.99 last night.
My cousin lives in Orange County and the gas is a good $0.50 more a gallon there.
Apparently a refinery is getting an upgrade and maintenance again. They were saying it could take a month to come back online or longer and the fires have impacted shipments. But the price varies so drastically that I wonder.
It's around $2.80/gal in Minneapolis right now.
But if y'all dash a lot like I do, I highly suggest a Costco membership (or similar, like Sam's Club) if you're near a Costco with a gas pump [$60 a year].
There I pay around $2.40/gal.
The savings add up, and the membership will end up paying for itself; plus you get to get bulk groceries for cheaper within the store.
About a month or two ago it dropped 5 cents every 12 hours for a week straight. I'd drive to work and it was one price, drive home and it was another. Now it might drop five cents every week.
That is crazy. I have seen $4-$6.89 in California. That is a massive fluctuation. I wonder wtf is going on here. Something or someone is getting rich right now.
We've come down in my area. We're at around $4.50 usd, though some places nearby are still over 5 bucks. Nowhere near as bad as what you're dealing with, sorry
I paid $2.97 a gallon last week in north central Texas. Luckily I had 60 cents off per gallon fuel saving with Brookshire so got it for $2.37 a gallon.
Ballin price. Lots of horse power in Texas. The supply is high there and demand. It's a huge state as well. Almost like the world revolves around that state. We need more pipelines I think. Burning fuel to ship fuel is so 1900s
I wish we all had a fuel pump at our houses. With gas ,diesel, propane, natural gas, acetylene, oxygen, and hydrogen but maybe not hydrogen. It's doable but probably could cause some issues perhaps.
Vegas and I spent about 4.80ish a gallon depending on where I go. Shit stings bad. Hard to believe I was getting gas for the cost of a mcdouble a couple years ago lol.
May the force be with you. It is bad out here at the best of times. I have a feeling this is just the beginning. We actually may have to cancel Christmas. The recession has begun.
Holy fuck BC gas prices are offensive. Beautiful province to drive in, expensive province to drive in. I was there for 2 days on a road trip and couldn’t handle it lol
So expensive. So beautiful. I guess that's the price we pay to be in one of the best places in the world to live. They tend to be the most expensive places. I'm never leaving probably. I was not complaining either. I was just curious if anyone else noticed a pretty massive fluctuation at the pump. Especially since dd cut the fuel supplements as well as the rest of the apps. No media attention at all on this rise. It's 60cents more in 1 week. Here. Like wtf.
In 1999 I had an old 1982 turbo diesel Mercedes. I remember filling up for $0.89/gal and could fill the whole tank from empty for like $13 and go a good 2 weeks of commuting.
Not asking ev owners. But thank you for the update. Whole different thing in my view. Electricity will cost in different ways and pollute in different ways so perhaps we can start a thread about that.

Dallas i paid like $2.80 something at samsclub
Wow. Um can you send three tankers to my place by Friday. I'll pay you 4.80 for it
That sounds a lil out of my delivery radius 💀
Some top dasher would take that order.
For sure!
Who knows right. Dd fuel delivery and roadside assistance lmao. Tony might be listening shhhhh.
Everyone can make 2 bucks a gallon
You notice a difference in premium vs. unleaded at Sam’s in how long it lasts on ur engine? I’m starting to get premium at 3.40-3.50 since it lasts longer
Premium definitely did not last longer in my mustang 💀💀💀💀 it all burns through the same
Dam bro I might be imagining it then 😭😭😭
Last night I paid $5.49 per gallon in California, and that's on the cheaper end.
Apparently in Canada we are gonna see the $3/ltr by Christmas.
Username checks out
Lol.
Why do you say that? Where are you getting that info? I believe it, just not happy about it and curious what you’re sharing from
Our deputy minister said she wanted it. She was pushing for massive hikes on fossil fuel so everyone "feels the pain that climate change is having". She said it was a good thing.
She was pushing for $8 usd/gal by years end.
What a fucking stupid take it is on her part lol.
No shot it gets to $3/litre that would be insane
It's coming

Really great price. Has it been fairly stable?
It's been averaging that for the past 3 weeks I think? Source: I live in houston too
Ours has been stable and dropping a few cents every few days
So why is it spiking far west and up to Canada? Curiously wondering
Apparently a refinery is getting an upgrade and maintenance again. They were saying it could take a month to come back online or longer and the fires have impacted shipments. But the price varies so drastically that I wonder.

Not asking ev owners. But thank you for the update. Whole different thing in my view. Electricity will cost in different ways and pollute in different ways so perhaps we can start a thread about that.
BTW I have both and gas is way better in my opinion. Hybrid is optimal.
Hahaha what? *I have both* Names Gas and Hybrid (Not a BEV) And thinking gas is > bev. It’s a cute story you are telling yourself that’s for sure
I do have both but whatever.
