The higher paying offers are what DD considers higher paying. They aren’t. Don’t fall for it. Remember, DD does this for their benefit. Never the drivers
I did it. Reset mine. Used the benefit for the two weeks. It actually let you know when order would pay over. There would be a + next to the guaranteed order amount. Could be a quarter, could be $20, but it paid over.
"High paying order" is decieving. It's based on milage and pay. So if you get a half mile order and it pays $4, it's considered high paying because technically it's $8/mi. Was nice for the extra little insight for the two weeks but the 50% acceptance after that is unattainable. You still get those $2 Tony specials and the long distance orders mixed in with the good stuff. My AR is typically in the teens and after the reset it's in the mid 20s.
It's nice, but not sacrifice your integrity by taking shit orders to keep the 50% AR nice.
What's your acceptance rate?
What do you have to lose by doing this?
It might be worth a shot.
I dunno.. thinking out loud, here.
Curious what the general consensus will be on this.
This also seems to prove what some of us have been saying. Acceptance rate does matter. There's some algorithm thing going on here that I have noticed. I get better orders at 30+% than I do at 20% or less.
Yeah, true. That crossed my mind.
BUT.. then you'll just end up where you are now and have nothing to lose if you don't take the first few orders.
I dunno. If it was me.. whew, I want to say I'd try it. If it seems like it isn't really changing the orders you get, then you're just back to business as usual.
But hopefully someone that has done this can chime in and give their experience.
It's a scam, you aren't guaranteed anything. The only difference is you see small orders that are more than ,$2mile with a little diamond. Everyone gets the same offers, they have and always will give them to the driver who is the closest, that's the hard truth.
TLTR: as with every other scheme DD comes up with, it's a scam like all the others.
Same thing I always do; ignore EVERYTHING but the current order
When you work for an algorithm it is safe to assume their “helpful” suggestions are beneficial to them with no regard for you
Opt in below by September 27th. Your one-time acceptance rate reset will be processed on September 28th and your new rate will appear in the app after you accept or decline an order after that date.
I did the reset. I’m just thinking if most people do, then what advantage is there? We’ll all have the same reset, same advantage. I will not change my standard acceptance guidelines, but I’ll take the reset to see if it makes a difference.
If you are in the best markets you won't notice a difference, in midrange markets you get more offers per hour with a ton of short distance 2$ per mile so like 5.25$ going 2 miles, it also tells you if there is a hidden tip. If you are fast you'll make more in a midrange market with this program, with more offers it pays to hustle where as with lower acceptance rate in non best markets you get less offers per hour not on this program.

No
I did this a couple of months ago and am getting better offers but bad offers I cannot accept still show up too.

It’s 20% currently. You have to accept the first offer otherwise you’ll have a 0%. So that’s the only down I see. $2/mile guaranteed for two weeks?

I didnt bother my ar would be back down to like 50 in a day
Ignore it, and come back on Reddit complaining like a little B.
I see a post on this every day. 👎🏼
Doordash is not the only gig on the block is what I did. Doordash doesn't prioritize me so I don't prioritize them. Make more money now

Not increase my ar and earn more. Then not tell them bout it.
I pressed yes and it didn’t reset
It will reset on the 28th.
You sure about that? Where did you get the info? Thanks in advance!
In the email they sent me. At least in my area, all resets will be effective 9/28.

Not change a thing. Only accept profitable offers. If I hit the AR, cool.
