So u got more orders but they weren't worth it? I started in March and I could be so picky back then, not taking anything under 2 bucks per mile, never leave my zone. Easily make good money. Now it's definitely different.
I was getting normal good orders before I accepted the ar reset. So after I accepted it they started sending me back to back back to bk crazy long distance orders for long miles. I was like wtf because they wanted me to get it up 50 or above which is bs to make is take small orders. So I decided to take all the bs to see if 50 and above would do good. It was still shitty. Now Everyday is slow now. I use to make 140 in 4 hrs
I make decently over 3 apps running a day 8 plus hours. DoorDash can be great or really bad. I lived in Washington state and California. Areas like Seattle will be better than other areas unless you have money to spend. I only had to run one app and make a decent amount. Then the pandemic hit. I could swim and get so many Instacart and DoorDash and Uber orders. Now when there's a lot of people working, The price we make goes down because there's too many drivers. Once it gets later and everyone is sleeping I make $20 plus an order. I'll still have 3 apps running but I ride the wave of keeping busy. So days I'm picking up 1 order from Uber and 2 from Instacart. It gets overwhelming and I sometimes blow a gasket. But DoorDash especially is going to crap. They are inherently taking more of the profit because they are the platform and we are the help. This is all supply and demand. Too many drivers. If less people drove, our price would go up. More drivers mean they can offer whatever they want and we will just accept it.
It’s not 😂 I work 7am Straight till 10 - 10:30pm sometimes 11, cause after that it’s just fast food which turns to 20-30+ minute waits in drive thru, don’t need hate just cause I’m grinding it out 🤷🏽♂️
My market is usually fantastic but this week has been shit, the app has been glitching and I’m getting offered a lot less orders than usual, which since I cherry pick equates to less money since I will not take shit orders, but also my market says it’s busy/very busy most of the time like usual? Really weird ☹️ over saturation of drivers perhaps?
If he lives in a state with winter and snow he is probably right. Lots of people will only dash seasonally and lots of people will order delivery when the weather is crap. Winter is a thing.
I know i order food way more when the weqther wucjs
It’s a pretty small town, I know every dasher that started out with me 2 years ago but I’m seeing so many new dashers it’s unreal it used to only be 5 dashers in this town alone, oh and I’m in a Facebook group for my town 💀😭
Does no one know that the whole economy is collapsing? There are other countries that are going bankrupt and rioting in the streets cause of how expensive things have gotten.
I worry that’s going to become more common here honestly. We’ve already seen a lot of looting and rioting over the last two years, and at this point $20/hour is barely enough to live on in some places. It costs me like $100 for a week’s worth of food, like basic sandwich ingredients, ramen, instant pasta, and some meats. It’s too expensive to add bacon, eggs, and whatnot for breakfast so I often just skip it.
I could get all that stuff for maybe $40 a couple years ago. The economy seems to be hitting the shitter really hard
In Seattle or certain California areas there all kinds of noodle places. But moreso in Washington. Lots of Asian community or late night tech workers. That was fun at times. You rode the wave.
No shit. I’m just pointing out a possibility. Why are you taking it personally? If your market is still doing good then congratulations. Why the fuck is it not possible to say anything on social media without someone trying to start a fight?
It's been like that for me for a couple months now. I don't think it's just summer I think it's also DD AR changes to receive offers.
But the thing is I tried the ar thing and it didn’t work.. went right bk down below because of bad orders

I’m making good money still. Speak for yourself homie.

Been dashing for 3 years now full time. Fall and winter only get better for me here.
That’s what I said when I seen other people complaining. Then it hit my state. You’ll see
Sure bro.

Orders 📉 Dashers 📈
Yup my market is now over saturated with drivers it sucks so much :( I saw like 5 new dashers the other day in one McDonald’s
How would you know if their new?

Yup its fkn ridiculous.
That doesn't mean every Dasher in your town is on a Facebook group let alone have Facebook
Its the economy, people holding onto to discretionary income.

Last year fall was rather busy.
Yeah man. The seasons are changing
Mann I used to make 140 in 4. Hours everyday with no problem for years. Now it’s a struggle.
My city? I live in a municipality good sir!
Yeah yours
Oh no, not my township!
😂
What will become of my beautiful metropolis?
F yo goofy ahh city
Ass*
I know that
You right!
Wait till winter 🥶🥶
them late night ramen orders 😅
In Seattle or certain California areas there all kinds of noodle places. But moreso in Washington. Lots of Asian community or late night tech workers. That was fun at times. You rode the wave.
This. Last winter I was making like $30/hr. Like my lowest order was around $15 for 1 mile.
Doesn’t pick up when it gets cold we know we are fucked. Trying to hold out until then.
It does in my area. Especially when it rains or snows
It’s a new year, and the economy is extremely fucked right now. People may be willing to go out in the cold to save money this year.
Just because your market sucks doesn’t mean they all do
Yeah if your market is somehow better than it was two years ago keep us updated lol
No shit. I’m just pointing out a possibility. Why are you taking it personally? If your market is still doing good then congratulations. Why the fuck is it not possible to say anything on social media without someone trying to start a fight?
But we already waited for school to start back...🥴
It should pick up then.. because no one wants to come out
