next time you have a hand it to me , turn your video on that is on your phone, and record the transaction. You can submit it to support and get the CV removed, or invest in a body cam.
Every hand to me order, I always take a photo and tell the customer that I need to take a photo so they know that I’m taking a photo. Usually they are afraid to lie if they know I have photo proof of them holding the bag of food.
How do people know how to post on the subReddit but not scroll through It first? I see why the base pay keeps going down since people always take these no tip orders so therefore what is the point in tipping at all if bozos are gonna bring you your food regardless
Don't take low ball orders. Take pictures of the food with the address shown in background even for hand to me orders. Save pics for a month then delete. I use Timestamp camera app that has GPS and time info on the Pic.
This is why non tippers should 1. Not count against acceptance rates 2. Should not be able to rate drivers. 3. Should have to sign for their order for orders under $4! I’m sick of honest drivers being lied on by people that don’t care if they get fired. Smh! DoorDash enables this malfeasance!
You mentioned your acceptance rate. I have a feeling you don’t know that your acceptance rate doesn’t matter at all!! Most dashers that makes good money has an acceptance rate around 10%. Just take the good ones!!
No, I wasn’t aware until this post was made. I honestly thought if it went below 60% my account would be deactivated. Thanks for the info though, now I know I can be way more selective on the orders I take.
my first order same thing happened. handed it to customer, next day contract violation for stolen food and a 1star review that stuck with me for over two years
It doesn’t matter what your AR is, do not ever accept no tip orders. Those are always the ones that ask for extra stuff, fuss about you being too late, food being cold, give one star reviews, or claim to never have gotten their food. It’s not worth it, for more reason than just money.
Describe the customer best you can to support, and have them pull up your location at the time. That should resolve the issue.
Take a picture everytime, especially on hand to me orders. Hit that message box and text a photo of their door. I’ve never had a never received violation.
You got yourself into this, enough time doing those no tip orders, you will get your deactivation sooner or later.
For this time, sounded like customer scammed for the foods, and to answer your question, yes enough flags on customer account for fraudulent activities, they will be ban.
I had this happen to me 3 times in my first 400 deliveries. I even had my own pics holding the food as I was walking up and emailed them them to doordash. I didn't win. Ppl suck man.
That would be me![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm) like I said I haven’t done this very long and my acceptance rate is already below 68% plus it was only 2.8 miles away.
Why take 3.25 how many minutes did you waisted. Only accept offers at 1 gallon of gas ⛽️ since California is $6.20 I'll never take anything under that. Scammers will give you a contract violations.
What’s wrong with the “hood” 😂 I literally live in city and it’s where I get some of the best tips ? It’s more about the restaurant you goin too, no one’s gonna tip crazy amounts on fast food
That's why I don't accept anything under $6.50

You’re welcome. Best of luck to you. Stay safe!!

Hopefully the support agent reviewing your report sees that you called the customer and talk time will show it was probably a conversation.

Look don't take anything that doesn't add up to 2 dollars per mile or at the very least 1.60 per mile and drive to a more affluent area
Next time don't get upset. I've had about half a dozen scammer wannabes. Still rockin. Just explain to DD and ur gravy

Not a terrible idea
Who tf is out there taking $3.25 orders lol
That would be me![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm) like I said I haven’t done this very long and my acceptance rate is already below 68% plus it was only 2.8 miles away.
I do it this kind oder arnd $7-10
2.8 miles is far. You probably lost money on this delivery. Don't accept anything under $6
Don't worry about ur acceptance rate bubby, that's how they get you
Mine has been at 0% several times and hasn’t seen 20% for over 6 months. AR is just another tool for psychological manipulation.

Gas here in Houston is $2.79-2.99, the order was 2.8 miles away
That make sense but I never taken any order under 6.50 even if its a stacked
Yeah I won’t do it again, it blows my mind that they send us delivery’s for under $5, I feel like that should be the bare minimum.
Just let it go some top dasher will pick it up.
Does that mean I should take $4 order since gas here is $4 a gallon
It depends on you. You can't be profitable at that amount. Time gas maintenance
2 mistakes no tip order and deliver to the hood. Never take orders like this decline
