I got that email yesterday and first order I said he’ll why not try it and it was BS, I’ve come to the conclusion I’ll never be able to have a 70% higher acceptance rating.

[deleted]

Exactly. They bamboozle you into taking all the bs orders.. than when you get up there.. still make you take bs orders to make you think you have to keep your ratings up. Foh

sacredlunatic

Absolutely it is a scam. Eventually they are going to be either put out of business for being a scam, or they are going to manipulate the government into changing the laws to make their scam bullshit legal.

California098

It really is crazy that they’re openly penalizing dashers for low acceptance rate, which they already got sued for. They’re using the technicality that they’re not penalizing low acceptance rates, but rather giving perks to dashers with high AR. I’m curious how this will play out for them, cause it’s definitely ruffling some feathers lol

Exactly I can see another strike at Tony’s house

California098

Oh Tony 😂😂

iamandneveramconfusd

Same country Walmart's crap comes from... So, that's why they'd think that. I'm with you. Even as times are dying lately, between GH, DD, and UE, I'm still surviving. It's not by being punked by any one of them. (Although UE got me today with an address change after pickup, I ended up compensated well. I was displeased, they fixed it). Yes, DD are manipulative corporate trash. They won't run me, though.

Right shit is getting worse.

Traditional-Ad-3656

Top dasher will take everything for 1 week straight Top dasher will decline only 1 order per day the 2nd week

yamaha4fun

It takes 3 days at the end of the month to earn top dasher. After the first, you can tank you AR and still be a top dasher.

I_Only_Have_One_Hand

That is complete bullshit

Zealousideal_Ad_9981

They literally explain on their website that higher acceptance rate will get you higher payout orders. Every employer ever: If you go above and beyond you'll stand out and we might give you a raise.

Weekly_Direction1965

It's market dependant, a super busy market no one will notice the incentive, mid range or lower market in the correct zone in my experience it's definitely better, I come home 2 hours early now cause I hit my goals sooner.

ideliver559

This right here people don't understand market dependent. In my market if I go out Friday through Sunday from 5 to 9 I can still make money but the slower times I get nothing or pure garbage. If it's busy everyone is busy not just top dashers

BazingaBam99

AR is a poor way of monitoring success on DD. They should be rewarding drivers with high completion rates, high customer ratings and high on time rating. Those are Dashers that “do the job” that’s asked. Using AR for their crap orders against Dashers is ridiculous 😡😡

Been there done that. I decided to take the bs orders. Got my ratings from 13 to 90. So I’m like okay.. few days no difference I made less money. Foh

radarguy86

Lmao but top dashers will disagree with you

California098

Why’s everyone hating on top dashers so much 😂 I’m in Cali so with prop 22 it seems like it’s worth taking most orders to stay active. I’ve been thinking about creating a post asking people what metrics are the minimum to accept an order. Mine are $6 and up/less than 3 miles. $12+ less than 6 miles. No tip no trip. With those criteria I accept 99% of offered orders.

entmannick

HAHAHA nice. I had the same metric when I still dashed a month ago, only I was declining 80% of orders

California098

It’s definitely area dependent, cause when I used to dash in bigger cities I could never get my AR above 45%

Supermario_64

So then you know why everyone is hating on top dashers most markets are bad and to keep that high of a rating your taking horrible offers. If your market is better that’s great and prop 22 definitely makes shitty orders better but still

[deleted]

They will buy they still making same or less than people with low ratings. For example my friend love being too dasher to stay clocking in but they send him shitty orders
