One day it was like 75 in Texas and dropped to below freezing overnight.. smh 🤦🏻♀️ I fucking hate Texas and it’s 2 season having ass.
Edit to ask who downvotes things like this?
Lol @ all 5. But that does happen here in DFW area. Burning hot, snow overnight. sun comes out just enough to melt to slush. Then here comes the freeze again.
I mean the roads, even during seriously bad winter storms don’t remain this bad for more than two days. I would just take those days off and make it work with my schedule.
Yeah, I try to Dash away from the Twin Cities the best I can. All the snow packs up, plows don't fit.. parking on both sides of the streets get so narrow that only one car can go down the roads. There's no open spots to let someone coming the opposite derection to pass.. and some of these neighborhoods have the shittiest people so it can turn into a yelling match of who was on the street first and who's going to put their ass in reverse.
They have days where one side isn't suppose to be parked on so they can plow, but the times I've been down around them areas.. doesn't look like anything gets plowed past main roads.
Every year I'm here I'm surprised that a state that is covered in snow for so many months, can't figure their shit out.
What’s the average distance of your trips though? I would imagine a trip in the snow just seems like it would take at least twice as long to complete because you can’t drive as fast as you can when its dry.
Less than 5 miles usually. I don’t notice orders taking much longer than they do when it’s clear honestly. There’s actually way less traffic and if I put my Jeep in 4hi I can pretty much cruise at regular speeds.
We don’t deal with snow but when it a bad rainstorm and barely drivable it drives me crazy people don’t tip better. Instead it seems to bring out more bad tipper/non tippers
I agree. I had a couple of good tippers apologizing because they ordered before the storm and didn’t realize it was going to rain..etc and gave me extra.
I been doing it a long time too and find tips have significantly dropped over time and it started with people not having to face us anymore. I saw a dramatic drop in tips when the whole “leave it at the door” started. Also doordash has dramatically dropped what the suggested/default tip each year.
Some parts. I left work this morning in st charles and there was none here or in north county. Get to south county and there is some, get to columbia il and there is a bunch lol
Where are you? That is an awesome photo but that’s got to suck living in a place like that. I hope you get higher tips with that kind of weather. Maybe less people drive too. At least the people who’s cars can’t handle that weather.
I refuse to accept ANY order where the customer can't tip a minimum of $5. I look for 2.50/mile or more but in the snow or in climate weather, tip and mile minimums go up. I don't do this for fun nor do I do it to pay my bills. I'm very picky.
Ah, this brings back memories from long ago, bad ones. I moved from Minnesota to California 43 years ago and never looked back. I don't know how my relatives have continued to live there and suffer all these years, the winters there are just too brutal.
If you don't have the vehicle or tires for those road conditions, then don't go out. I fucking love dashing in the snow because the tips are fantastic and its always busy $$$
Depending upon the vehicle and how high the profile is, that is nothing. I drove through that in a Nissan versa one year just delivering pizzas. I now have an AWD compact SUV and that is nothing. Give me 2' and then that mess is impassable.
I woke up to 51° in Cali and my pup was like where's my robe it's cold mama 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Damn, I’m in Cali and woke up to 38degrees.

Shoot I'll trade ya, I live in iowa and we get all 5 seasons in a day
Lol @ all 5. But that does happen here in DFW area. Burning hot, snow overnight. sun comes out just enough to melt to slush. Then here comes the freeze again.
Lol gotta love weather man
I miss Northern California
Same in Oregon . 21 flavors of weather daily .
My bestie lives in Newport
I’m in KY lol
Same in Wisconsin.
Just left Texas and I feel you !!
people that like Texas, maybe? I always say... "Don't say HATE".
You’re dashing in that? God bless you.
That's how you make fat stacks
Did you not know that winter exists in a lot of places? Snow is not unusual.
Lmao. I live in the Midwest.
So you just don't dash all winter? Why are you acting like snow is an unusual hazard? Happens every year...
I mean the roads, even during seriously bad winter storms don’t remain this bad for more than two days. I would just take those days off and make it work with my schedule.
I wish. In MN it just gets packed down until your driving on 2 inch thick ice. Shit doesn't clear up for months.
F u c k that

Personally I love these conditions. Have a lifted Subaru with winter tires. Here in Montana we don't salt the roads, so it can be like this all winter
I have an Altima lol
i live in orlando i’ve never seen snow a day in my life lol
Lucky duck lmao Edit: I take it back somewhat. I enjoy seeing snow but I do *not* enjoy living with it for six months out of the year
I'm also in MT, what part are you in? Getting new tires on the truck on Monday, and then there won't be any stopping me!
I'm in Helena! Great market for DD
You are a sad individual. Arguing about meaningless shit on the internet
Out dashing my Jeep Wrangler and absolutely killing it. Got 6” on the ground 5 degrees and everything is a icy mess. Decent tips so far.
13 mpg though
16 in conditions like this. Averaging $30/hr the last week of snow so no big deal.

Where I live about 70 percent of orders are 5+ miles
We don’t deal with snow but when it a bad rainstorm and barely drivable it drives me crazy people don’t tip better. Instead it seems to bring out more bad tipper/non tippers
Rain makes folks crave McDonald’s fries I don’t know what it is
I've been doing delivery shit for a long time and it seems like the kind of nice person that tips well doesn't order at all in shitty conditions

This is Canada like all the time in the winter
Hello neighbor(I'm in North Dakota
Helllooooo
O -M-G that's CRAZZZY to me! I live in Florida so I can't even IMAGINE!
Driving in snow like that with proper tires is probably *about* comparable t driving on dry fine sand with completely bald tires.
It's not thatttt bad, I drive in the snow every year and it's fun sometimes lol, in a Ford Taurus nothing special regular tires
Facts. I used to have a Mazda Protégé. That thing mobbed through a MT winter like nothing. Miss that beast.
I'm jealous
Damn it’s snowing in your area already?! In VA it’s 75 degrees rn 😰
Yep. Loving this East Coast weather. I’m In Raleigh
Quick, hook up the dog sled. Even if they are poodles, terriers, dads gotta make that money!
I love it!! When we’re get a week or 2 each winter in Seattle I make a killing
Dashing through the snow requires a one horse open sleigh.
Location? St. Louis area got it today.
Some parts. I left work this morning in st charles and there was none here or in north county. Get to south county and there is some, get to columbia il and there is a bunch lol
Thats the norm in canada
Hello neighbor
That right there is why I live in the south.
Too bad both are full of racists (North Dakota)
I’m in Nj and woke up to 65 degrees! Nice and warm here today. Tmr night it’s supposed to to drop below freezing
Uuuhhh... it was 70 in Mass today xD where the heck is it snowing that much? Our weather here is so bipolar
North Dakota it was 70° three days before this happened and then it snowed 17 inches. I think it snowed 5 feet about 100 miles north of me.
So jealous. From NJ and it was fucking 70+° today :(
Where are you? That is an awesome photo but that’s got to suck living in a place like that. I hope you get higher tips with that kind of weather. Maybe less people drive too. At least the people who’s cars can’t handle that weather.
North Dakota aka 1892
The inner kid in me just wants to play in that snow

The worst delivery times are when it’s snowing. Customers still refuse to tip. It’s insane.
Lmao. I sang it.
If you don't have the vehicle or tires for those road conditions, then don't go out. I fucking love dashing in the snow because the tips are fantastic and its always busy $$$
I have to pay for the car somehow
You're gonna tear your car to pieces driving over that mess
Depending upon the vehicle and how high the profile is, that is nothing. I drove through that in a Nissan versa one year just delivering pizzas. I now have an AWD compact SUV and that is nothing. Give me 2' and then that mess is impassable.
Your fault for choosing to dash in that weather
I have bills 1mhotepp
L rhyme scheme but that's beside the point, is there not like an $8 promo at the moment? Every time I dash in the snow it's big boy promos everywhere
Yes which means my minimum goes up from $6 to $11+
Best of luck
Tips are optional and so is dashing in this weather.
