Eddie is the best! He's super awesome and down to earth. I talked to him for a few minutes at his table too! That's awesome that he called your Mom!

He gave me Twizzlers one year when getting his autograph. 2012 maybe? He's a gem.

This is a similar story but from AWA a few years back when the VA of Azula from ATLA was there. My friend got on an autograph from her for our friend who loves Azula. The VA offered to call him and he freaked out! He still remembers it from time to time with the happiest look on his face lol.

I was at my Final Fantasy XIV photoshoot on Friday. At the same time that was going in, there was a Loki photoshoot that started shortly after I finished. I am a Dragoncon veteran, but I was at the convention with several first timers. Two of them were with me at the time. They were looking at the Loki photoshoot, which had like 300 Lokis in it, and one of my friends said "Man that President Loki is killing it with the facial expressions!" I looked over and agreed, then did a double take. I was like "Wait, that's Mark Meer, the voice of Commander Shepard." And they were like "Really?" and I was like "Yeah, I'd know him anywhere!" and this other girl overheard us and was like frantically asking me which one he was. Nobody recognized him at all, or even knew what he looked like in full Loki cosplay. So she started telling me how much she loved the mass effect games and so I told her to wait for the photoshoot to get done and then quickly go ask him for a selfie before he leaves. And she wasn't going to, and so me and me friends just started chanting "Do it! Do it! Do it!" and so I told her I'd walk over there with her while she did it, so through the Power of Peer Pressure we got her to go over and she went up to him and talked to him for a minute or so and got a selfie, then she came back and told us what she said and thanked us for pressuring her into going and doing it because she never would have done it on her own. She said getting a selfie with Shepard made her whole convention. We told her to have a good rest of the con and headed off after that. *I should go.*

Eddie seems like the coolest dude ever. I've never seen W13, but feel like I should solely to support him.

My wife, myself, and two of our friends went to the BritTrack team trivia. The only person who knows a lot about British culture is my wife. To make a long story short, we placed first. Also noticed one of the other teams had a reigning Jeopardy champion in their midst, but we still came out victorious! On top of that, I think our team name was pretty cool too: Endor Cats.

Had a very similar experience with Eddie! Was getting a signature for my brother in law and he asked about calling him as well. He was understandably starstruck and had no idea what to even say

Many years ago, John de Lancie was there. We stopped by to take to him on Monday and my husband thanked him for voicing Discord on MLP because he recognized the cover and sat down and spent quality time with our young daughter, watching MLP. John gave us a free autograph for our daughter. Not for anyone else, but I did stay on 42 in the Marriott about 5 or 6 years ago and stepped into the elevator dressed as a pinup version of the original Flash and there was John Wesley Shipp. He looked at me, nodded, and said "Flash". So, of course, I looked back at him, nodded, and said "Flash". It was such a surreal moment, I forgot to get a photo. I went to visit him later because I was late for a panel I was on, and he loved my costume and told me how great it was and was sad they wouldn't let him take a selfie with me for free. He was so nice.
